      Living at San Riva is safe and comfortable. I really enjoy the pool and fitness center as well as the trash pick-up service. That said, the apartment itself is really old and shabby. Appliances are really old. Years of repainting has left spots of white paint all over faux hardwood floors, vanity and kitchen surfaces. The carpet in my unit is gross, it really should have been changed before I moved in, especially given the price I'm paying here. There's an a/c output right in the shower and it drips all night. The toilet runs. In other words, the actual living spaces just don't eqate to the price or the word "luxury" used when advertising the apartments. There are cheaper, nicer apartments nearby. If my rent gets raised, which everyone says it will, I dont know if I can justify staying.

      Though I feel that the current apartment I stay at has very old appliances and does not have a modern kitchen. The neighborhood where this complex is at is family friendly and beautiful scenery. 5 min away from South Mountain where you can take a beautiful hike and capture one of the worlds most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Also you take a bike along the Phx bike trail right by 202 freeway where you can capture a beautiful view of the desert and the Estrella mountains

      Clean a environment with: Beautiful pool, dog park with real grass, tall ceilings, large bathroom, and even a washer and dryer in the unit. The office staff was super helpful when I had questions and fast to answer them. This place is great.

      Quiet place to live because not many people know of the property which makes it more enjoyable, almost like a hidden gem. Maintenance is great and responds within 2 days. Office team is great and responsive. With the tax cuts, rent has been easier to manage and I like that the management keep their residents in mind and ensure their satisfaction is top priority.

      My husband and I have been living here for nearly seven years now. It is a very quiet community with respectful neighbors and believe it or not no noise from the freeway. If people are drag racing or the cops are chasing a speeder then you can hear the cars. We've had no problem with getting work orders attended to ASAP especially with the A/C and the water heater. Others may take a little longer depending on severity and staffing. You can request spraying for bugs inside your apartment on Mondays, if they are found inside. Overall, this is one of the cheapest places to live for the square footage, the fact that you have two sinks, and a washer and dryer in the apartment.

      If you’re going to be moving in, make sure before you actually move in that the place is up to your cleanliness standers. If not, I’d suggest not signing your lease because those issues will never be fixed or addressed in any manor. Front office staff refuse to fix anything or admit anything is wrong once I moved in.

      Yes! San Riva was a great place to live under the previous property manager but since Greystar took over there are bogus fees being charged and the office is so rude that everyone I know here avoids going into the office like the plague. Don’t rent a Greystar managed property unless you like to move often. I don’t know any of the residents that have lived here for years that have any intention of renewing our leases. We’re all moving out as soon as our leases expire.

      I've honestly loved living here. Moving to AZ from a house to an apt was a change but it's really nice here. Neighbor issues have made it a little bothersome and recent bug issues have been horrible but management and staff are great.

      Overall. In a nutshell, staff and community facilities are great and appear great. The actual units however are extremely outdated and frankly put together with hot glue it seems. I am extremely disappointed in the unit I am paying an arm and a leg for (they're also raising our rent if we renew.) We don't have a light fixture in the living area, we've had to replace about 10 lightbulbs in 6mo, everything has layers of paint on it, the carpet is peeling up due to poor installation. Not to mention the 1990s appliances that I no longer feel safe or comfortable using after I discovered what a fire hazard the dryer was. Fake countertops, poor caulk jobs and chips in the wall. If I should be expected to pay more (even though I've been here almost a year) I think it's only fair we get a remodeled unit or that the complex take pride in something other than their community facilities and renting food trucks for residents. Where we are actually living does not reflect any of which what appears to be when you first enter or tour.

      San riva is a nice and quiet complex in a great location. Close to just about anything you could need. Management is not the best, but not the worst. Hopefully this gets addressed soon. Maintenance leaves something to be desired and the price point highly outweighs the features in the apartment. Never had any issues parking, plenty of spaces.

      San Riva came highly recommended by a previous renter, and the experience so far as a renter in San Riva has been positive. The people here are so friendly, it is a pet friendly community with doggy bags and doggy trash cans everywhere, the grounds are kept up, the office is beautiful, and most of all it is a safe place for all ages.

      Very friendly

      San Riva has been a great experience! When I was moving in, Kortney (maintenance) saw my struggling with my dresser, he dropped what he was doing to help me move it to my second floor apartment. He also immediately fixed the issues in my apartment that needed attention. Kortney makes San Riva feel like a close community. He always smiles and waves whether I'm walking my dog, leaving for work, or coming home. He is very in tune with the San Riva community which makes me feel like I'm truly at home and safe.

      Girl in front office was rude and definitely didn’t want to work on a Saturday, gave the whole complex a bad reputation. Really sad companies hire people to treat their customers bad. My advice is not worth renting if they can’t even hire pleasant people.

      Awful Service/Greedy Management

      Place is great but management is awful. Don’t expect them to uphold their own rules if it means they have to do work such as dealing with lights out on the property, vehicle parking in each other’s spots (just deal with it they don’t care!), dish washer makes awful sounds; deal with it. Management won’t replace it or fix it if it still runs in their eyes. Do you like the smell of dog poop? Good, this place is perfect for you! Dog poop all over the grassy areas and rocks. Dog poop sits in metal trash bids for days in end heating up in the lovely 100 degree summer months... you can smell the dog poop cans from a mile away!

      Beautiful Views

      These apartments have everything you could ask for! A fully equipped fitness room, gorgeous pool with barbeque area, club house and full size washer and dryer in each unit. They are pet friendly and always make my granddog feel welcome when he comes for a visit. I have a gorgeous 1 bedroom apartment on the third floor with a wrap around balcony, perfect for watching the Phoenix Summer Storms. The whole complex is surrounded by mountains and hiking trails. I highly recommend San Riva for anyone wanting a safe and quiet neighborhood where luxury is affordable.

      Super Staff and Spacious Digs at San Riva

      When I was apartment hunting in 2013, this complex had very mediocre reviews online, but I knew that it had just come under new management, and when I researched that company's other properties, the reviews were favorable. Since all of the complaints were regarding the old management, I decided to go for it, and I'm so glad I did! The property is really well maintained, and while the units could use some updating, I've only had a few minor issues, other than when my AC died, but the office got back to me immediately and took care of it the same day. I can't say enough good things about the people working in the office and the maintenance staff! As for my unit, I'm in their larger one-bedroom with a spacious wrap-around balcony. When my friends come over for the first time, they're impressed with how spacious the apartment feels. Lots of big windows, tons of closet and kitchen cabinet space, a real separate laundry room, large bedroom and bath. Other than wishing I could tear out the carpet and replace it with solid surface flooring, I'm really, really happy with my apartment.
