Located in central Minnesota, Saint Cloud combines city living with natural beauty along the Mississippi River. Known as "The Granite City," this community features diverse housing options, from downtown apartments averaging $878 for a one-bedroom to residential neighborhoods like Centennial and Lake George. The city's rental market shows steady growth, with rates increasing about 2.3% annually. The city maintains 95 parks across 1,400 acres, including Whitney Memorial Park and Munsinger Gardens, recognized among America's top public gardens. The presence of St. Cloud State University, Minnesota's third-largest university, contributes to the area's educational landscape.
Downtown Saint Cloud preserves its heritage while embracing growth, highlighted by the restored Paramount Theatre from 1921. The Mississippi River provides recreational opportunities, particularly around the Beaver Islands, a natural formation ideal for kayaking and canoeing.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Saint Cloud Terrace
Hallway is not clean. don't have proper security. stuff get stolen after delivery, car getting hit. management say they can't do anything. no camera cover the parking properly. drunk and homeless buzz you door at the middle of the night. a living nightmare during my stay.
I rented a one bed, one bathroom here. it was a perfect choice for my first apartment. The lady at the front desk was always ready to help and takes the time to learn your name and greet you. Any maintenance problems you have are addressed and taken care of quickly by a very dedicated maintenance man. These apartments are a literal 15 minute walk to the university and a very short drive to the store. The only reason I left is because I was moving out of state to be near family. 10 out of 10, would rent here again.

Thank you for the very kind review! At MGM Management, we strive to ensure all residents feel welcomed and taken care of. We are pleased to hear that you had this experience, and will be sharing your feedback with the Community Manager at St. Cloud Terrace.
I picked this apartment because it is within walking distance (10 minutes) of St. Cloud State University. Because of the convenience I cannot talk myself out of going to class or the library. The complex is quiet and good for studying but does have some noise issues if you live on the street or by the entrances. Rent is a bit higher than most students like but the proximity to campus, downtown, and shopping balances that out. Maintenance and office staff is exceptional. They resolve issues promptly, inform residents of issues quickly, and are always friendly. Particularly with snow removal the staff is always on top of things. The only issue I have had has been from people walking through the neighborhood fooling around with my car. This is not a dig on the complex or the neighborhood as the people doing it are just passing through but that has been a frustration (my only one, really). Garages are provided for an additional fee so there are solutions. This complex has been a great base for my return to graduate school.
