The Sage Stone Oak is a First Class independent living community!!
New resident very happy to be at The Sage at Stone Oak. Our friends from our former senior community moved here and told us all about The Sage at Stone Oak. We are very happy we made this move. Everything is done first class here and it is very reasonably priced for the best senior living community in San Antonio.
Well run community; recent construction. Beatification is on-going due to management and a resident led garden club. Elevators work and the community area with coffee bar, piano, exercise facility, meeting rooms are quite attractive and kept clean & tidy. Adequate covered parking is available but costly ($75/month). Management staff are competent and nice people. Maintenance personnel are responsive, skilled, and relate closely to the resident’s needs. Overall: enjoy living here.

Sage Stone Oak is a beautiful property with lovely amenities. It is pet friendly, which is important to us (and to our dogs!). We selected Sage over a similar property a friend had recently moved to, preferring the floorplan, views and overall feel of the place. We are delighted with our decision.

Sage Oak is a great place to live. It provides a peaceful environment. But it needs to solve a situation with the CODES BOX. A code box is needed close to the right side gate to open it easier, avoiding to drive to click the code then to drive back to where the gate is located. This will operate the opening easier and quicker.

I like it here but I have hard time being able to achieve my 8 hours needed for my C-Pap machine. There is a loud music or TV plating so loud than I rarely ever get to sleep after 5 or 6 o’Close!

I am happy living at Sage Stone Oak and enjoy the many activities offered by management and the resident-led activities. The location is great and the apartments floor plans are spacious. The maintenance crew are friendly, courteous, and respond in a timely manner to repair requests. The office staff is not as responsive to requests and their follow-thru needs improvement.
Sage Stone Oak is a wonderful place to call home. The staff are attentive and friendly and I love the activities. My neighbors have become some of my dearest friends in the nearly three years I have lived here.

Sage is a friendly environment to live. We have a yard and have the ability to view a small amount of nature which is pure contentment. We enjoy the amount of space that we have as our apartment. It is roomy and allows our electric wheelchair, when we have needed it, to move freely from room to room. It’s just comfy. The staff from the office to maintenance are friendly and responsive to all issues we have had. We were nervous about the movement from our apartment to our car or to office would be uncomfortable due to them being in breezeways and not enclosed. However, during this horrible summer we have had this year the movement outside the apartment was very uncomfortable and there was generally a breeze. It’s a great place to live. I would recommend it to anyone.

From the first contact through the move-in and ever since I’ve been very happy with all aspects of this welcoming and warm community, Frankly, there is nothing comparable to Sage Stone Oak and this area that meet my needs and comforts. Other residents and staff provide friendships and energies essential to living more fully in this stage of my life. With family nearby, Sage is marvelously located in an area upscale residential neighborhoods. It is away from the hustle/bustle and near to excellent grocery stores, dining venues retailers and the best medical care. Overall, it is safe, bright and comfortable. I hope to spend many good years here.
We like our apartment and other residents. It is a good community, but our joy in living here is compromised by the fact that resident concerns are not addressed, scheduled maintenance is not done, and our safety is not seriously addressed.
