Roots at O'Connor

Please beware before you move here. It’s not family friendly for children. People smoke drugs in their apartments and it can affect your children and your health.

My friend and I truly enjoy living here at the Roots! We've been here almost a month now. The staff here is very courteous and friendly. Krystine especially was and is very helpful, ensuring that our move in process was smooth, and to this day continues checking in and making sure we're good. We only had two minor things that needed to be fixed maintenance wise but the gentleman that came by was very helpful, courteous, efficient, and was in and out within 5 mins or so. It's been great living here so far and I would highly recommend it!

It was a fast and easy process! It is beautiful and have been enjoying it here!

I have lived at Roots at O'Connor for a little over 2 years and in a short amount of time I have seen tremendous improvement in the quality of life. Management is always on top of everything and addresses maintenance request as soon as possible. They even reach out to reassure things will be fixed if there is something preventing them from addressing it right away.

This is a wonderful community. The office is always willing to offer any assistance with any service needed that's community and sometimes non community related. Going beyond and above. Linda, Lynn and Sammy are always pleasant and get things done. They keep this community beautiful , clean and a pleasure to live in. Tensy J a resident of 4 years.

My husband and I have had some issues but everything has always been resolved to a high standard, without needing to even ask. We love where we live and are going on our third year here. The only downside of this complex, which obviously cannot be fixed by any staff member, is the super thin walls. You can hear just about everything coming from the other side.

Roots at O'Connor is a nice place to live and is in a great location. Management does a great job of keeping the community informed.

I’m very pleased with the entire staff that includes maintenance. My concerns/requests are always taken care of immediately. Office staff are always ready and available to answer any questions or concerns.

I’ve lived here for a month and I absolutely love it. A friendly and safe community for me and my family. I am grateful to Sami, she gave us a tour of the apartment and gave us all the information we needed about the apartment. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Absolutely amazing property and staff! Very friendly and understand and do not make you feel on the spot about any immediate decisions. Very comfortable and approachable environment. The two amazing ladies I’m the front, Sammi and Linda have been so welcoming and nice. And the main maintenance man is also very quick and understanding and reassuring about all concerns

The staff is incredible. Sami, Linda and Lynn are a tremendous team and, collectively, their efforts greatly contributed to the facilitation and coordination of my moving experience. Sami, in particular, went above and beyond to navigate and guide every logistical matter concerning my out-of-state moving experience. As a military veteran with a service-connected condition, Sami truly put forth a valiant and commendable effort to ensure the paperwork process and my move, in general, would go as smoothly as possible. She is a tremendous asset to this property and her professionalism, kindness and overall breadth of knowledge are the sole reasons why I choose the Roots at O'Connor over the other neighboring properties. I have felt welcomed at this property. The maintenance issues have been responded to in a timely manner. The leasing team is top-notch and their professionalism and wealth of experience is truly remarkable.

I never thought there would be such a great place to stay at a reasonable price and all your requests will be quickly resolved by the management and operations team. Special thanks to Samira for helping me very enthusiastically, working extremely responsibly and being very dedicated to helping customers to the best of her ability. I am very satisfied with The Roots' customer service and love living here because it is extremely comfortable and safe. Everyone is excellent there! Excellent customer service !

Roots at OConnor is quiet & peaceful scenery--grounds are well-maintained. I like the location to 1604 and 35N. I downsized from house to 1bedroom apt & am amazed at the amount of cabinet storage I have in the apartment. Staff and Mtce are wonderful.

Overall, very happy and satisfied with our residence in the complex.

We have lived at Roots at O’Connor for over a year now and we just signed for another year. Any issues I’ve encountered have been addressed by everyone at the office in a reasonable amount of time as well as maintenance. I appreciate all the staff for everything they’ve done for my family and our apartment unit! :) the amenities are great too!

This place is amazing! Built very recently with new and attractive living spaces and amenities with great prices, it's everything I was looking for. Huge shoutout to Sammi for being incredibly helpful and so kind along the way to finding me the perfect home - she made sure I knew exactly what I needed to do, kept me updated on all the steps to moving in, and made sure my apartment was absolutely perfect when I moved in! I also want to say thank you to Hector on the maintenance team for his great work in fixing up the unit after the previous tenant and for being diligent and professional in helping out with any maintenance needs I had after moving in. You won't regret moving here!

So far I have enjoyed my stay at the Roots at O’Connor. The maintenance team takes all request very seriously, the amenities are clean and well kept, and the staff is fantastic. But thank you to Samira for helping me out the most with the move in process and making everything go smoothly, she’s fantastic!

I recently moved in and love the community. The location is great, the price was just what I was looking for. The team is great.

I’m very happy with the staff here at Roots of O’Connor. Every service request entered has been taken care of in a very timely manner. The property is always clean , the Office staff is very friendly helpful and professional. The biggest highlight is I feel very safe on this property. If you're looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to settle down, Roots at O'Connor is the place for you. It's family friendly and pet friendly which means a lot when you have a fur baby that's family. The staff are polite and professional and give you a sense of caring. I know when I call with any issue that I'm being heard and they will find a solution fast. I love living here and do plan to renew my lease!!

Best property and staff I’ve ever encountered. This will be my third year and every concern has been addressed promptly. It’s a quiet community and I feel very safe.

When we moved in everything seemed nice and Joli was kind. We should have known there would be trouble from day one. The former company didn’t clean the apartment till the day we moved in and would not let us move our things in till around 12pm and we got there around 9am. The dog wash didn't work for months. A man tried to break into our apartment. We let the apartment know and they never sent a notice to warn the other residence of criminal activity. The valet trash would not pick up trash. One time, for 4 days, no trash was picked up. The Roots sent an email saying the trash cannot be out during the day. We were not going to bring 4 day old trash back into the apartment. There is poop all over the complex. They would tell people to pick up their dogs poop, but also all of the pet waste stations didn't have bags in them. My fiancé got a piece of glass in his foot while we were swimming at pool. Again we were swimming and glass was in the pool. The pool was noisy, loud, and had too many people. No one would clean it up and the property managers did not enforce the rules. When we moved out my fiancé and I spent hours deep cleaning the apartment. We had one dog and he didn’t have any accidents in the bedroom. We waited almost a month to see when we’ll get our security deposit back. I call the apartment and they said we owe money because the carpet wasn’t clean, had stains, and smelled. I have several friends helping me and my fiancé move and they all know there were no stains, the carpet didn’t smell, and I vacuumed multiple times just to make sure all the dog hair was gone. After I told them that they back tracked and said we needed to deep clean the apartment anyways if we move out and have a dog. The lease does not say that. They also said that the carpet needs to look like it did when we moved in. I let the lady know that carpet wasn’t cleaned when we moved in. We cleaned it and the former company waited till we moved in to do anything to the apartment. She said that was before we took over. I can understand that but also don’t talk about how the apartment looked when you weren’t there. I feel like they were looking for reasons to not give us our deposit back. They did not provide a move out check list, but wants to make us responsible for rules that are not in the lease or were not provided prior to moving out.

My new home at the Roots is beautiful!!! Im so happy and moving here was one of the best decisions I've made.

I must say, I looked at alot of apartments and The Roots of Occonor was the best! Best customer service!!!! My apartment was so clean when moving in!!! Linda the Asst Manager went above and beyond for me! Sammy the Leasing Specialist made me feel so at ease! Moving is very stressful but this staff welcomes you with open arms! Im so happy! Looking so forward to living here. This is beyond anything I have experienced living in an apartment and Im truly grateful!

These apartments are nothing less than beautiful from the view to the amazing different amenities. The staff is so amazing!!

Move in was fairly easy. No issues with the apartment on move in just a few cosmetic repairs needed
