Stretching from Silver Strand State Beach to the mountains of the Otay Open Space Preserve, Chula Vista lives up to its name, which is Spanish for “beautiful view.” In between the Pacific coast and the mountains, you’ll discover hills, canyons, and miles of hiking trails. This city celebrates its diversity and its history, which dates back before Spanish exploration in the 1500s. The area that is now Chula Vista was part of a land grant in 1795, and eventually became a part of the US (with the rest of California) in the mid-1800s. The city finally incorporated in 1911.
Lemons play a role in Chula Vista’s history, as it became the world’s lemon-growing hub in the late 1800s and is still known as the “Lemon Capital of the World.” While you likely won’t find too many lemon trees today, you will discover more than 60 beautiful parks and a variety of outdoor activities ranging from swimming and surfing to hiking and mountain biking.

I have lived in RHGA for almost one year now and I have been pleased with the upgraded apartment and the level of care and maintenance provided. It is a quiet, calming atmosphere which I appreciate. I believe rolling hills garden is the jewel of the South Bay. Million dollar homes access to free way shopping center and restaurants great people a lovely manager who attends to our every need. She is very special. Her name is Alison and Eduardo is an outstanding maintenance supervisor. Michelle has been working hard for the company since we moved here and she is not replaceable. Very nice kind lady who we respect very highly. Makes the leasing office look good.

Been here almost since day one. Have literally watched Eastlake become a community. When I came to Rolling Hills there were no homes, schools, condos, or parks. Rolling Hills sat in the middle of, well "rolling green hills" ...... I've literally watched Eastlake become a thriving place to live.

We have been at the Rolling Hills Garden apartments for 6 years now. We love it here, the grounds are always clean, maintenance is fast and professional. Its a friendly environment and also very quiet. The office staff is very friendly. Overall this has been the best apartments we have ever lived in. I just hope the rent does not go up so much that we would not be able to afford to live here anymore.

I have lived in my apartment home here in Rolling Hills Gardens Apartments since January 1, 2004. I moved here from Los Angeles. Rolling Hills and Eastlake Village has been my home since that time. The entire area is peaceful and quiet, and all the residents are the same. I don't have a pet, but they do allow small pets, which can be a great comfort. The landscape is kept perfect and all areas are kept perfectly clean. We are all grandparents or great-grandparents. The units were built to accommodate a wheelchair or a walker if needed. The managment team is outstanding and efficient in all areas.

Rolling Hills Garden's has been my home over 20 years. The residents are quiet and kind. The grounds are kept up weekly. No smoking, no loud noise or music, and all cats and dogs are cute and friendly. There is a security guard that drives around in the middle of the night that keeps an eye on the buildings and safety of the automobiles. Front door of each apartment is double security locked.

On December 13 of this year, I will celebrate my 4th year living here in the Rolling Hills Gardens apartments & community. We all know that time naturally and automatically flies by fast and on its own. It flies by even faster and becomes even more enjoyable when you're surrounded by beautiful mountains, beautiful trees, beautiful community, beautiful neighbors, and of course a beautiful team and staff members.
