Downtown Billings starts along the Yellowstone River and extends west. Home to Walla Walla University and south of Montana State University Billings, Downtown Billings is a vibrant city center featuring trendy boutiques, restaurants, public art, and walkability. Yellowstone National Park is just two hours away and is home to Old Faithful and other geysers and hot springs as well as bison, elk, wolves, and grizzly bears. Since I moved in, a little over 2 months ago I have had a refrigerator that freezes items, a stove that burns items, a dryer that lost a drying cycle, 2 faucets that need replacing. A plumber who did something wrong in the repair, which caused a bathroom leak, and ceiling tiles that collapsed on a Friday night, along with an overflown toilet that happened on a Friday night. Both times I called emergency number and the first time I got the manager who told me there are no emergency repairs- just turn off the water, which I had already did and cleaned up the mess, and wait until Monday because I had a 2 bedroom apt ane could use the other one. I was sending pictures the second Friday night when I received 1 phone call, missed the call and did not hear back until the following regular work week. The manager offered a 30 day no fee release from the lease, and she is no longer the manager and the. Current manager does not want to honor it. Stay away from here. It is old and they only fix stuff when it breaks, at their convenience.
Unfortunately, I have had many issues with this complex as well as the company itself. Not only did I have issues getting my lease executed in the first place but now this sorry excuse for a property management company lost my rent check/money order. I placed said rent in the "rent box" and they claim to have not received it. There have been issues with vandalism of the rent box in the past but claim this is no longer an issue. After speaking with Christine, the "Assistant Community Manager" any late fees associated with the misplacement of my rent will not be waived. They are the most incompetent idiots I have ever encountered and are not even open during their advertised business hours, as Christine closes the office prior to advertised times. I would recommend that every one stay away from Rocky Meadows Apartments and IRET property management.

A wonderful place to live. Management was usually very prompt and speedy with requests and repairs. Snow removal was adequate. Best apartment we've had. Vending machine in the lobbies is an amazing convenience. Great overall location. Proximity to college was a love/hate relationship. If you live on the street side (Poly) then the constant football practices/games and obnoxious air horn were quite unbearable at times. I work weekends and they have air horns and music blasting until 10pm on Saturdays. Regardless, I would definitely recommend.
