RiverWest Apartments

My experience so far at RiverWest has been spectacular. The move in process was so easy and convenient. Jeff and the team in the office have been very impressive and take care of everything you need. The apartment complex is very clean and nice. I love my apartment and all the great features it provides.

rent is on the high side and would like additional elevators but it is a easy, friendly upscale place to live with nice amenities.

RiverWest is a beautiful place to call home. I love the waterfront location, the staff is very responsive, people comment on how nice it looks and smells when they first walk in. I have a view condo and absolutely love the river and city views!

RiverWest is an amazing building full of amazing residents. The staff is kind and always making sure youre as comfortable as you can be. I love living here!

RiverWest has a beautiful lobby, amazing waterfront location and waking up to that beautiful river view, and falling asleep to the city lights is amazing. Love walking to the restaurants and shops, and it's a short drive anywhere I need to go! Staff is responsive, parking is gated and safe.

My experience here has been poor from the beginning. I had to chase the original employee to get a walkthrough and then a rental agreement. After move in, I discovered the apartment was never cleaned, had painters tape on the walls, and was missing a light covering. I immediately asked for a walkthrough form so I could list problems with the unit because there were many paint scratches, but I had to go through three separate employees over a three week period before I received one. Upon using the dishwasher the first time, water was pouring onto the floor because the water line was never opened on the garbage disposal. Months in, the staff erroneously put me on a different utility payment schedule such that I was being charged for utilities that were not in my lease or agreed to. That problem persisted for months with a final employee chasing me for $11.00 that I never agreed to pay. At one point, I changed my electronic payment to a direct bank draw to avoid the credit card payment fee. However, two months later, I was being charged a fee for that too. The apartment is also not worth the rent I am paying. Thankfully I currently pay the original lease rate and not the extortionate upped rates like my neighbors. I know I am not alone with this complaint because people are constantly moving out. The quality of the units does not justify this rate, and, if you are standing outside on a breezy day, it smells like sour milk and concrete. The only shining light here is the maintenance staff who are always nice to talk to and are efficient at their job.

While we have just recently moved in mid-November in the midst of this COVID pandemic we are thrilled with the cleanliness of the apartment complex, and professionalism of the maintenance and management team here. The neighbors that we've met here in the complex are wonderful, and we can't wait to be able to utilize all the amenities once the pandemic is under control. It can only get better from here!

Overall living at RiverWest has been great so far. My husband and I love the apartment, the view, and access to all the waterfront and DownTown Vancouver activities. We hope to enjoy the amenities more once COVID restrictions allow.

I lived here for 9 months. This property is fine if there are 0 issues with your unit. I moved into to this unit when it was brand new. Two appliances were broken in the span of 9 months. One took 4 months to fix (dryer issue) and one took 2-3 weeks (air conditioner). Community spaces are fine. At least one elevator frequently not in service (due to people reserving it for moving in and out, which happens almost daily), sometimes elevators are broken all together, and sometimes elevators smell like wet dog. Random fire alarm went off 2 times during stay. When this happens you're stuck outside for an hour or so until the fire department comes and gives all clear. Fine when it's not cold and rainy out and when it's not in the middle of the night. You can hear people living above you. Building is not high quality construction so there is not insulation for noise between floors. When asked about this, management gently ignores the inquiry. YMMV depending on which unit you end up in. Management staff comes and goes. They're nice, but often times don't have answers to questions, probably because they're always in training mode.

RiverWest has may our transition to Vancouver so much better than expected. We don't feel like we are in a temporary home. You don't hear other residents, it is close to downtown, close to restaurants and wine tastings, and easy to get outside for a walk or run. RiverWest is VERY pet friendly.

RiverWest Staff has been outstanding prior to my move in, and since. Always attentive and even returning missed calls, when no voicemail is left, to make sure everything is okay and to see if I had any questions.

Aside from great views. location and beautiful interiors the staff here has been amazing. Especially Jeff who helped us with all our questions or concerns long before we even moved in. Then he personally greeted and guided us upon arrival. He truly went above and beyond saving the day when we needed help getting our huge tv set up! I can't say enough great things about being here and again especially Jeff. Impressed resident 501
