The community is great, it’s also in a very convenient location, the property is maintained and the apartments are super cute! I also appreciate that they have a garage for cars so we don’t have to park on the street. Another safety measure is if you don’t know the code or don’t have access to the OPEN app you’re not getting very far onto the property.

So far, so good! 1st week, I get locked out the building & then someone parked in my reserved parking spot all weekend. With that said, I really enjoy living here & I'll be exploring more of the community very soon!

JD is by far the most caring Manager I've ever experienced at an apartment complex. He is not paid enough! I also love our Maintenance Team! Very responsive and kind. The grounds are looking great and pest control and cleanliness is improving greatly! The dog park continues to be an issue with owners not picking up after themselves, but that's reflective of the residents, not the team. I love living at River House and hope to stay here for another couple years!

I love river house apartments! The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, some tile in our bathroom needs replacing but they can’t do anything about it because they can’t buy the same tile anywhere, which is sad since I just moved in and I would wish to have good floors, not broken. Other than that I like living here with such a close proximity to the restaurants

There’s been a few problems here and there but they’re all bearable. The roaches for example are a pain but they’re not the worst, as long as you keep your room clean it’ll be fine. The den wifi needs to be fixed, it doesn’t work whatsoever with any device I try using it with, please try to fix it.

It’s been a great place to live so far and I foresee that continuing. I haven’t had any issues in the apartment other than a slow shower drain that needs a little draino here and there. There’s always parking, no safety concerns. Food is good around here but you will pay higher prices, so if you’re like me and appreciate a $1 or two for a taco, don’t expect that. The staff in the office is amazing! The amenities are great! Worth what we pay for.

It's been a great year! The complex has always offered wonderful tenant opportunities to get to know one another, enjoy the amenities like the pool, business center and the gym to name a few. Monthly events take place which also offer experiences such as local dining venues or chances to visit newly opened small businesses to support the area.

I love living so close to the Pearl and Riverwalk. The apartment feels like a community and the staff and maintenance are top notch. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun urban lifestyle in San Antonio. It also helps that we can jump on the highway in all directions so quickly.

I haven’t been here a week and I am already in love. I use to spend days driving and living here I can walk to just about all I need. Living here is like living in a little community of its own. The staff is a bonus. They are all very kind and efficient at keeping the community vibrant and informed. From the moment I stepped foot in the office JD and Lena made me feel so welcome. I can see myself here for a while. It feels like home here.

I’ve had an amazing experience here. The staff is awesome, the grounds and property are kept up. If there’s an issue with your unit the maintenance team is fast. The office is very interactive with us and alway has events planned for the residents. I love it here.

Love the River house. The location can’t be beat. leasing office staff and maintenance staff are stellar. They have great food trucks that show up outside the complex occasionally and have fun events.

The apartment charged me on the way out $100 more than their quoted price on the damages sheet using the asterisk of "subject to change" for all quoted prices. With that justification "of touch up", the whole apartment was repainted and then I was charged for this. It took over a month to notify me of this outstanding charge, even with me calling weekly to check in. Once notified, I attempted to receive an explanation for why the charges were so high. I received some poor quality photos as justification. I was not given an explanation and received another phone call two weeks later being told my bill would be moving to collection unless an attorney responded. All I wanted was a reasonable explanation. Prior to move out the maintenance guy checked my apartment and said the different marks and holes were fine and just wear and tear and not to worry about it. I wanted a bridge of where it went from no payment to extra charges. Outside of that debacle, the walls and floors are very thin. You can hear everything from people walking, music playing, TVs, to dogs howling through the day. Horrible place if you need to work from home. Additionally, there were multiple times accidental fire alarms went off in the middle of the night causing evacuation of the building as well as during the day when I was not home and therefore my pets had to suffer through the alarms. Next, I moved out about two months ago now. The apartment still hasn't disconnected my contact information from my old apartment. I have been receiving information about the current tenant who lives there every time she submits a request to the office. Once again poor form and bad business practice to not be safeguarding tenants' personal information. Lastly, this was not a reliable place to receive mail. Multiple packages were lost, whether that's the apartments fault or the post office, it doesn't matter. I didn't get packages that I had either paid for or people sent. I also had an incident where my deployed husband sent me a bouquet and birthday letter. This was accepted by the office, and I was never notified. My husband finally asked if I received them, and I went to question the office. They told me that they did in fact arrive, but the flowers started to smell bad so they just threw the whole thing away to include the letter my husband had sent. I asked for compensation for at least the monetary value of the flowers and was told that it was my loss.

I can honestly say, after living here for 6 weeks, I love my River House home far more than any other location I have ever lived - not an understatement. I viewed 7 properties and nothing came close to River House when incorporating the value of location, rent rate, amenities, and the staff's smiles.
