Hobart is a village in Brown County that sits entirely within the treaty boundaries of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, giving it a sense of place and history that few communities in the state can match. Incorporated only in 2002, it has grown steadily as part of the Green Bay metropolitan area, drawing renters who want a quieter setting without straying far from a major city. Green Bay's employment base, including healthcare, manufacturing, and the well-known presence of the NFL's Green Bay Packers organization at Lambeau Field, is roughly a 20-minute drive west along Highway 54 or 172.
