Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. While looking for apartments in Appleton, be aware that this large city spans three counties: Winnebago County, Outgamie County, and Calumet County.

Maintenance: professional, skilled, efficient. Always prompt. Housekeeping: Friendly, do a thorough job Grounds: Flowers, trees and lawn mowing kept up to date Social Calendar: A variety of activities are provided. Plus pool room and workout room. Office Staff: This is a job where patience, sensitivity, knowledge, good listener and sense of humor are critical. A smile goes a long way. Concerns: Remodeling using hardwood flooring…increase in noise level. Inconsistency with rules: ie-bird feeders, wind chimes, pets allowed in buildings other than 10, walkers left in front lobby, furniture thrown away in/by dumpster. Appreciate seeing updates being made. New roofs, hallway painting, carpets cleaned, garage washed out, patio lights replaced, furniture and paintings updated in floor lobbies to name a few.

Suggestions I enjoy living here. Maintenance is wonderful and the grounds are beautiful. But it would be really a wonderful thing to have proper sidewalks especially for us who use a cane walker or wheelchair. There are some areas that you can’t get through unless you’re in the road And that could be quite hazardous. Also, if you would have button door openers for many of us, it is difficult to handle packages parts and open knobs. Please consider these improvements as it will make life much more pleasant. Also, I do wish you would update the appliances as they must be as old as the building. They are very beat up and the sink is quite ugly. You have many wonderful people living here very kind and considerate and I’m sure you would like to keep them here.

OK Place Most of the time it is a good place to live. How ever the last couple of years has been a little like living in a construction zone. Noisy. Now the apartment below me is being remodeled. Very noisy and upsets my cat.

NEEDS All is good. Except, we need a brighter light by the mailboxes so this old people can see into our mailbox is better. I would be glad to donate a brighter bulb. Also, when the elevator reaches the basement, it would be nice to have a button to push that automatically opens the garage door going from the elevator room into the garage and also from the garage into the elevator room because when you have many many packages and bulky items, it is difficult to navigate that area without someone holding the door. Please address this problem. Thank you.

Dish washer It was fix and Brad was very helpful. How ever 4 hour later I opened the washer to add dishes and the was a loud snap and the door fell. I think the spring that keeps the door from banging down broke. will call Monday

I love my home! At age 80, I am delighted to be free of the tedium of home ownership, and able to enjoy my retirement with friendly, thoughtful, respectful neighbors, convenient services, and a serene location. Issues have been minor in my two years of residence, and always resolved quickly. I have everything I neeed here, and most of what I want. My children have peace of mind because of my security.

Great place! I've lived here for almost 12 years. The complex is well managed and immaculate. This fall all of our outside landscaping was redone, and it's beautiful. Any issues or requests are handled in a timely manner. It's a peaceful place to live.
