The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

If you have any further questions or concerns please reach out to us!
CONS: Moved here 5 months ago and have already submitted 8 maintenance requests. Dryer was broken upon move-in. Heating and water broken during negative temps - told to use insurance to stay at a hotel. A/C has not worked for over a week and it's 80 degrees out. I live on second floor and can hear every footstep above. Many tenants do not pick up after dogs. Dog park is covered in waste and the trash can is overflowing with a giant pile of open bags near it. Neighbors garage was broken into multiple times. Additional monthly fees: $50/mo - Common Area Maintenance ~$10/mo - Real Estate $25/mo - Valet Waste $35/mo - washer/dryer PROS: Close to mountains.
I am not a resident here, but I accompanied someone who was considering moving here. Pulling into the complex, we were impressed, but that quickly faded. The clubhouse is well appointed, however I noticed that it was not as clean as they claim to be on their website. There were dirty dishes and paintbrushes in the clubhouse kitchen sink. The Media Room was disgusting, especially the drawers and cabinets, which also showcased lazy and ignorant craftsmanship. There were greasy puddles of butter and popcorn kernels in a couple of the drawers and the three popcorn packets that were left over looked super old and greasy in their plastic packaging. There was trash to be found in some of the cabinets as well. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk agent, he excused it away that the room was not used very much. Obviously! I wouldn't want to chill in that room either. Getting to the lazy and ignorant craftsmanship, the two drawers on the very right overlap each other, as do the middle cupboards by at least an inch. Who was the idiot that installed and thought it was good enough? If management thought it would go unnoticed in the clubhouse, can you imagine how many corners they are cutting in the actual units, your potential future home? Even though there was an open door model apartment available to view, we were not offered a tour of it and were informed that there no apartments to tour on the property. Upon leaving the Clubhouse, we decided to drive around the complex. There were several spots in which the pavement had been ripped up. Most of the pavement around the complex was in need of improvement. Overall, our experience was super disappointing. If you are considering this as a place to live, you might want to rethink it.

I have been at the retreat for a few months now and I have loved it. Sydney in the office is very helpful and Jose is a great maintenance guy. The nearby trails and bear creek dog park are very convenient, and the views of the mountains are just amazing. They also just switched valet trash services and I have been happy with the new service.

Thank you so much for taking the time out to share your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear it has been such a positive one and that our timely maintenance, well-kept grounds, and special amenities have all helped create an exceptional home life for you here! That being said, never hesitate to reach out to the office should you ever need anything. Our team is always happy to help our valued residents! Thanks again!
Maintenance doesn’t respond accordingly. There’s always water damage and mostly likely mold growing. The carpets smell like dog pee and they wouldn’t replace the carpets. Even after cleaning the carpets .
This place is quiet for the most part and so far all of my neighbors have been friendly. I can't get over how beautiful the location is. Suuuuper pet friendly.

Be sure to reach out if you need anything in the future, Ella! Thank you, Retreat at Cheyenne Mountain Staff
Maintenance is a joke, if you like waiting almost 3 months to get a new door move in here.
The staff here is fantastic--very kind, professional, and the maintenance staff takes care of things very quickly. They have been very patient with questions, and did everything they could to help make my lease signing and setup as seamless as possible. The walls are built fairly well (which is NOT the case in most Colorado Springs apartment complexes. I speak from experience). I find that most of the people who live here are kind and respectful as well. My only slight complaints? Low water pressure, a toilet that doesn't flush all the way, and a creaky tub. That's it :) And I can live with it. The neighborhood is very close to hiking at Cheyenne mountain, the Bear Creek Park, the zoo, the Broadmoor and Old Colorado City. Even with all that not far away, the complex is very quiet. It's a nice little setup.
Love everything about this place except for the front office staff, maintenance staff is great. It's just the front office that is useless. So as long as you don't need to interact with them much during your stay, you are golden. You are close to all kinds of hiking trails, breweries, restaurants, parks and great views. Lots of open area on the grounds for dogs and kids to play and in the winter there is a great tubing hill in the middle of the complex. I lived there almost 4 years and am glad I made the choice to live there despite the dated appliances, flooring and cabinets that are so cheap they will naturally begin to fail.
The retreat at Cheyenne mountain has awesome staff. The views of the mountains and the city are spectacular. The apartment we are in is large and spacious. The grounds are maintained very well. Very dog friendly. The appliances that are furnished are very nice and you can tell that the apartments that have been renovated are much nicer than ones that have not been.
We live in a 1185 square foot two bedroom two bath apartment - the overall space is great. It also has 9 ft ceilings which also adds to the "spacious" feel. However- instead of taking the time to do things correctly - you can tell things have been done cheaply and quickly. For instance, the door stoppers are glued to the wall - the shower fixtures come loose from the wall, the cupboards in the kitchen are just covered with parchment paper. There is so much potential - just poorly done for the premium price we are paying.
This complex looks very appealing from the front. The pool has waterbugs in it. The entryways are dirty with bird droppings and urine. The units they have cheap materials, the appliances are barely up to standards. The maintenance staff is responsive as is the management but the entire complex needs to be upgraded to meet the standards that the front office portrays.
