Property Ratings at Residences at Slatersville Mill
Overall my experience so far has been pleasant. The only issue I could see is the noise between apartments. You can literally hear a conversation with the people aside you or above you, but that’s expected coming from an old mill. Otherwise, everything has been great. Victor from maintenance is so kind, always giving my dog a treat and being so friendly to everyone he comes across.
Still loving this place! Everyone is here is so friendly. Also, the maintenance team, especially Victor, is so very helpful. Looking forward to many years here ??
It’s a really nice place to live. The people are very friendly. They have beautiful apartments. I love the big windows. The kids live it too. They especially love the amenities. There really excited for the pool. I’m looking forward to it too. I love that they have a gym here.
People are great, dog friendly, maintenance department is fast and professional, grounds are kept clean. The amenities are kept clean and easy to access
The office staff is great. Repairs are made correctly and promptly. Very happy so far. Apartment was very clean when I moved in. Common areas are clean.
Everything had been great so far!! The place is very well maintained and the staff is really helpful. No issues with moving in and the application process was easy ??
Community is beautiful & peaceful. I love the location, close enough to highway and daily needs but outside of the hustle of the main city. Only qualm is the quiet hours. It being a community with as many kids the quiet hours of 10 pm to 8 am is frustrating at time to fall in line with especially with an elementary age child.
Unfortunately there has been some inappropriate conduct regarding the use of the grounds to walk pets. We have lived here since August 2023 and when we moved in the grounds for the most part were immaculate. Now it seems that people are not kicking that seriously anymore, I don't know if it is new residence or frustrated existing residents but when I walk my dog I always clean up after him weather on Common Grounds with the bag, or the tools provided in the dog park. The dog park is an absolute mess. I find myself cleaning up after other dogs and that is not fair to me by any means, just because I want to have a clean area to make sure that not only my dog doesn't get sick but that no one accidentally steps in it. If action could please be taken to enforce people cleaning up after their pets, action that will be taken seriously that would be greatly appreciated and the grounds much more enjoyable. Parking for center mill is bad. Motor cycles are taking up front spots and they aren't being used. Center mill has no trash dump so you have to walk a decent amount on non trash days. Rent is a bit high for the area.
The move in process was seamless and I am so happy with my decision to live here! The amenities are so nice the apartment is extremely cozy.
Appliances are 20 years old, can hear my neighbors all the time through thin walls, floors and ceilings. A lot of dogs bark incessantly. There are too many neighbors that don't pick up after their dogs. Facility is safe and well-lit including parking lots, doorways and hallways. Landscaping is beautiful. Need more benches and tables for outdoors for community gatherings or just to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Location is very convenient to grocery stores, liquor stores, retail stores, restaurants, highway and TF Green.

First week here, still settling in but so far I’m enjoying living here. No assigned parking is one of my favorite perks so far. Haven’t had the chance to try out any of the other accommodations.
Don’t leave a $500 if you aren’t sure you are moving here. They WILL NOT refund it if you find another place. They never told us this and would not refund my sons $500 and he was applying for affordable housing. He can’t afford to lose $500.
Hannah was genuine empathetic knowledgeable expedient and maintained an authentic "presence" during all our interactions. She made a very stressful time much easier to endure . Other residential venues that we inquired about were met with multi agent smugness that annoyed us to no end. This residence full of its rich history excites to no end as if we're living in a mini series.. Thanks ever so much Hannah!

Beautiful rustic charm. . .great campus and old mill structures Apartment interior leaves much to be desired. . .fixtures are old and of poor quality.
Unit was clean and out together upon arrival. The office staff and maintenance crew are very helpful and attentive. Property in its entirety is beautiful!

I am a current resident, I have not been able to get a nights sleep since moving in. All they do is want you to try and record the other residents and even when supplied those recording they want you to keep doing it with no resolution. Again I only asked to switch to a new apartment and have got no help. If you value sleep and privacy do not live here

We loved the complex but management had been giving us a hard time. We are moving in September and not renewing the lease, but all the other tenants are great!

We moved in September and have loved this apartment. The apartment is so cozy and the amenities are great. We use the gym often, the basketball court and are looking forward to using the pool this summer. Would 100% recommend living here!

My daughter and I have been living in our loft apartment for 5 years now. We love it here. Maintenance comes right away and fixes any problems we have. We enjoy the outdoor amenities in the summer. Most importantly, we feel safe here!

Move in process was smooth. Leasing officer has been excellent from my first showing till now. I however have some concerns with cleaning. Very high rise areas were dusty with cobwebs and not cleaned. Kitchen faucet handle and water spout not cleaned properly. Evidence of food debris or hard calcified material on it.
We have only been here for two weeks but are so much happier! The loft style is so cozy, we have a good amount of privacy, and we love the view from the big windows (so do our cats). It's been so great having valet trash and the convenience of the gym in the same building (especially on a snowy day like today!) We are excited to continue exploring more.

I moved here from Indiana to be close to my girlfriend. The trip was a big tough but what was really nice was once I got here, Hannah got me to my apartment quickly. This allowed me to start moving in and within a few hours, I was able to sleep in my new place. Everything was very clean and I had the first full nights sleep in four days. Very grateful to be here.
The apartment community is good. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming. My apartment location is very helpful and makes for an excellent warmth in the fall/winter.
We moved in a month ago and we love living here! The amenities such as the gym, basketball court, and media room are awesome features. We would highly recommend living here!
The grounds and historic aspects of this community are beautiful, and the management and maintenance teams are excellent. The buildings could use some updating in individual units as well as community spaces. The pool is very small. The appliances in apartments are outdated and the HVAC system is inefficient. The buildings require keys for entry- it would be more convenient to have a FOB or passcode feature at each building’s entry.

I love the neighbors for the most park everyone’s pretty friendly. And I love the amenities they’re very useful being a young parent. Although I wish the parking situations were better. You can’t love everything right?
It’s cozy, it’s homie! The kids love it! The environment is quiet and comfortable. Everyone is very respectful of each other. I love that it truly is pet friendly.
