Located about nine miles east of Round Rock, Hutto is a growing Austin-area suburb with a unique sense of character. Known as the Hippo Capital of Texas, Hutto touts 4,000 hippo statues throughout town. Hutto’s hippo lore dates back to 1915, when a hippo escaped from a traveling circus train and settled into the local Cottonwood Creek before being recaptured.
Hutto’s charm doesn’t end with the hippos. The city offers a strong sense of community, which is evident in its support of local events such as the Old Tyme Days Festival, Crawfish Festival, Sunset Black Party Bash, Spring-A-Palooza, Old Town Christmas, and the Hutto Farmers Market.
The Hutto community also comes together in historic Old Town Hutto, where 19th-century buildings house an array of independent restaurants and specialty shops. Residents enjoy the outdoors at Hutto Lake Park, the Golf Club at Star Ranch, Fritz Park, and the Cottonwood Trail. Getting around from Hutto is simple with access to U.S. 79 and Route 130.

Quiet community no issues with my unit good neighbors don’t have to fight for parking spaces clean community maintenance is always there when you need them. The office personnel are great if you have any questions they’re there to answer them overall great experience.

I’ve really enjoyed living in this apartment overall. The unit itself is nice—clean, modern, and comfortable, with a good amount of natural light and decent amenities. The location is super convenient, close to shops and restaurants, which is a big plus. That said, there are a couple of downsides. Noise can definitely be an issue, especially at night or on weekends. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to consider that. Also, parking is a serious challenge. Spots are limited and it’s often hard to find a place nearby, which can get frustrating. If you don’t mind a bit of noise and don’t rely on having easy parking, it’s a solid place to live.

Wonderful place to live at love it really safe and beautiful environment. Me and my kids love the area and specially all the places and entertainment around
I like living here, the only thing that is a problem is the noise, music blasting it can be disturbing to my sleeping and working. Chase in the front office is kind and respectful.
Been living here for 2 years, the roaches are insane!!!! We’ve asked them to go something about it a year ago, but we were told “it’s residents responsibility to manage pest” even tho they’ve bent here since we moved in!

The staff is great and very helpful! There are so many businesses nearby so you really do not have to go far to get anything you need. The apartments themselves are so nice and a fair amount of room with great closet space!

Too expensive for such a little space. When new management came in, they wouldn't even let me renegotiate the terms of my lease that I was being overcharged on. Then they owed me $1000.00 for 6mths but threatened to kick me out every month when I'd be 3 to 6 days late on my rent. I was hoping the new owners would make things right and better but it looks like that was wishful thinking. Just another over priced, dirty, trash infested apts.

I love how quiet it is in the entire complex. Very modern looking too. Had some issues in the beginning when first moving in, but management took care of it day 1.

Its a nice place, and I love my apartment. The mantinance team is responsive and quick. But now and then the people around me play their music overly loud to the point I can heat the beat and music through the walls and floor.
