I was hesitant about applying here. They have a lot vacancies and I asked about this, but they said new management is in place and now things are better. If this is better then I can only imagine what was worse. i applied and haven't heard from them? I know I qualify because I make enough but its like they throw away good viable tenants and don't follow through on the process. I now get why they have such a high vacancy rate. There could be more issues as well. I guess this is lucky on my part that I have decided to move on. Very nice but extremely unprofessional in replying or following through application process from beginning to end. Don't waste your money!!!!
I’ve lived here for 3 years and have previously written bad reviews but the new management and office staff are AMAZING. They have really put in the effort and work to make this place great. I’m even thinking of staying another year because of the staff!
I’ve lived in this complex the last couple of years ONLY due to the dirt cheap price for the area I was offered. They are constantly entering your apartment for inspections or bankers because they are trying to sell the property AGAIN. No one in the office ever knows what is happening (probably from the constant turn over). Over the years there have been problems with maintenance, lost rent checks, people in the office refusing to take a rent check, wrong information being given, paperwork being lost, the list literally goes on. When I moved in there were NAILS in my carpet, my dishwasher wasn’t bolted in, they LEFT THE HEAT ON IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND BEFORE I MOVED IN. Just stupid unprofessional ridiculous mistakes. I tell everyone I know to stay away from here and am currently planning on getting out of here as soon as my lease ends. They rebranded this place used to be called The Venue. Those reviews will give you the whole story. Don’t make this your home.

I will say that when it comes to other services, I will let the readers read what other tenants have already posted on the subject because they express themselves a lot better than I can. I am definitely not the kind of person to post reviews and am very lenient. But like the other tenants have said regarding staff members is true, they keep on changing and are not willing to help you. I was happy until I had to deal with them; you talk to them about a problem and an error caused by them regarding payments and they agree in front of you that they will fix it, then months pass by unchanged, then you remind them of it again but it remains unchanged until you have to bear the extra charges. Very unjust, and inconsiderate. If you do not believe, simply read the other reviews from other tenants, they are a lot harsher than me. I wouldn't go as far as saying zero stars but that is not too far from the truth.

Do not RENT from here. Ever since we moved here, it has been a horrible experience. Maintenance issues take months to get finished while all the while you are paying full price for an apartment with a washer/dryer that hasn't worked for a month, missing cabinet doors or misaligned doors, endless problems. Our neighbor's washer and dryer hasn't worked for almost a year. You think it shouldn't be possible that they are still running but they are. HIGH STAFF TURNOVER. I had an issue of an overcharge on my rent and when I finally got a hold of someone via email, phone calls and in-person office visits, that person said, "I will look into it and get back to you." I waited to hear back and a week after, I went back to the office to which the staff member tells me "Oh him? He doesn't work here anymore". No sense of communication, no one can answer my questions and will just smile and say "Let me check back with you on that". And yes, I DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK if you were wondering. Online option to pay rent still costs a fee. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. You think you won't need to deal with the management but you will. Do not fall for the free rent promotions, there is a reason why they have so many openings right now - EVERYONE IS TRYING TO MOVE OUT. Don't do it. This place needs to be investigated. Terrible care of the property and to decent tenants.

About to pay to break my lease. Lost rent checks, missing packages, mold, you can smell trash from the parking lot. There is trash EVERYWHERE. I have to walk over my neighbors trash to get in my apartment, they locked the dumpsters and say that they will come pick it up if you put it outside your door...really?!?! So until they do (which they don’t) there are rats and raccoons for days and you want to throw up walking through the complex.

I have never in my life taken then time to write a review but in this instance I feel I need to. I have lived here with my family 2 years now and this place is a dump. It’s pnly gotten worse since we moved in. They can’t keep a maintenance crew, they got rid of the dumpsters and hired a valet service trash service. This service often skips picking up your garbage, there is no where to throw trash on the days they don’t come so birds get into the trash and it ends up all over the complex. Cars are broken into. I have called the police multiple times because I have found people shooting heroin in my stair well. They fix nothing. I have had a broken toilet seat now for 3 months. I have closet doors that only open an inch. The front office has changed staff basically every week and are unhelpful and unprofessional. They say their apartments are remodeled yet everything falls apart. Kitchen drawers don’t work.. the list goes on. They claim they have two pools but only one works and that took 15 months before it did... nasty. This place is nasty.. I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. Anywhere would be better

Every time I walk into my daughters 1 bedroom apartment it smells terrible, it smells like dirt.I can see the mold through a hole where the heater tubes are coming out of... I wish I never looked in there because it is horrifying. They NEED to tear down these apartments ASAP before someone seriously gets sick. If I could I would rate this place 0 out of 5 stars seriously don't move here!!!!!!! Especially if you have KIDS. Its not worth the health issues and it is not safe, they are having problems with people breaking into cars, and the front doors hardly lock!! Its crazy they have been getting away with this... Thank you.
This is the worst place to live. The ground are covered with trash. The remodel is not quality work. I've had nothing but maintenance issues since moving in. The staff doesn't communicate with the residents, doesn't return phone calls. The entire experience has been a huge headache! I wish someone had warned me before I moved in.
This place is crazy! The rent maybe cheap, but the property is completely covered with trash. The property management is not helpful. The maintenance crew is not effective. The remodel/updates are shotty at best. The amenities are only available for residents who don't work. Leasing office hours which are often different from what is posted. Find someplace else to live.
They are late on maintenance. They automatically revoke emotional support animals whenever they feel the need to without investigation or legally! And they always change staff. People let their dogs walk around without a leash all the time and don’t pick up their dogs waste. The valet garbage company doesn’t actively pick up trash. Some of the staff are really rude and don’t greet you when you walk in as a tenant unless your a prospect.
The management is horrible Lindsey very much about corporate greed, she will add on charges at her will to ensure the company gets as much money from residents by way of fees and over priced parking stall charges with just a basic cover no lighting or real protection for the cars, however it is another way for her to charge more fees to residents. They do random lottery and pick home at the end of each lease and the home picked will ensure the people living in it will be put out for no reason at all hence not a manager that cares about its residents on a human level. Homeless live in the stairwells, and they do not maintenance the area and nothing will ever be done about that. The corporate is hard to get a hold of and this was by far the worst place as they rarely fix any work order issues!
I lived here for a few years and management changed 3 times. It started out terrible, and each time I hoped it would improve, but sadly, they all remained utterly incompetent. They lie, promise to do make all these grand improvements (fix the pools, build enclosures for lower floor patios, etc.), but they can’t even keep up with maintenance requests. If they are ever forced to admit they made a mistake, they don’t make it right. They just apologize and shrug and tell you to get over it. This happened when they accidentally overcharged me for rent one month, when they told me I couldn’t use my shower until maintenance fixed it (but I could), and most recently when they told me that last months rent had been covered but wasn’t. Instead of working with me over the unexpected payment, they told me I would have to pay a late fee if I didn’t get it in on time. If you ever run into a difficulty in life, they will not have compassion or understanding. Good luck if you choose to live here. You have been warned...
Avoid this train wreck like the plague. The staff is incompetent and are pathological lairs. The units are falling apart with moisture damage and growing mold and the maintenance staff is too incompetent to do anything about it. If you visit the office to try and follow up with anything. The maintenance staff are usually just goofing off and being obnoxious. Do not trust a word they say. You Will Regret moving here. I promise. As far as crime goes. You will be lucky if your car is not broken into periodically or stolen. You will enjoy the gunshots you hear nightly as well. Worst place to live in Renton, WA.
The price seems very good but be careful before signing your contract. They wrote down everything is okay or good and ask for your signature but when you complain they promise to fix but not completely done and when you moved out they charge you for it . Luckily I took some pics and I will show them to my lawyer. The apartment is too old, the bathroom, toilet and the kitchen cabinets are so dirty. The parking is so terrible, washing machine and dryer are often not working. We have been here for almost a year but have never seen pool or exercise room. The manager is so rude.
I live to far from work and this place provides a nice midpoint to Bellevue for a very modest price. Colors are nice and renovations are in progress. Dog park coming in the spring!
Avoid this apartment complex! The management is completely incompetent. They "accidentally" overcharged me in rent, and after 4 months and several conversations, the issue is not resolved and I have not received my money. In addition, they often enter my apartment without proper notice, which by Washington State law is 48 hours. They will provide a written notice on my door that is incorrectly dated for the previous day to make it seem like they are obeying the regulation. And if that's not bad enough, when they were in my apartment this last time for reasons that are still unclear to me, they neglected to lock my door. How do these people still have jobs?!? That should be enough to not bother renting from this place... And yet, sadly, I could go on. They claim to have two pools, neither of which have worked since I moved in a year ago. I have found needles near areas where children play. And the garbage area has not had a dumpster in over 2 months, so trash is thrown on the ground inviting rodents and other pests. And when you try to call to mention any of this, the mailbox is surprisingly full. They state that they listen to the messages daily, so it's the tenants fault for not calling during office hours. Classy, Venue. Really.

Unorganized. Management has no clue what they're doing.Needs new maintenance team. Unprofessional. NEEDS SECURITY!!
This newly remolded apartment is very aesthetically pleasing. The entire outside was redone as well as additional features added to the inside. Outside amenities includes an exercise room and swimming pool, both of which are well maintained. A patio is included in all units. The washer and dryer are in the unit and that room has a lot of storage area. Repairs are done quickly. I've lived here for 4 years and love it.
As soon as I walked in the office in search of a new home. Their leasing representative was sitting waiting win a smile. She graciously showed me a unit that I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. The into was remodeled beautifully. The decor, inside and out was nice. The customer service I receive from the office made me believe I was going to have a wonderful year spent here. I'm happy to say that just last week I resigned my lease with The Venue and I'm excited to start new memories in this place that I call home.
I've been living here for the past year. The first check I wrote out to them, they over charged me by $650.00. Then they missed counted our lease term and only gave me 11 months when I asked for 12months. I should have looked at it more carefully. I found them on this app and paid pretty reasonably.
