ReNew Summit

Luckily we are moving soon. There have been many issues even more since the past 6 months. Rules don’t apply to everyone. Even with the new parking program, tenants still park wherever. The tenant upstairs makes enough noise for 5 people and loves to drink. Many have dogs but no yard so they let their dogs run around in the parking lot. Tenants have junk in their front area and yet I was told I can’t have a bench. Still see tons of junk months later from various apartments. Tenants know when to break rules. You’ll see more rule breaking when the office is closed. When I’ve complained I just get a generic response. Being a grad student and a disabled veteran it would be nice to get some peace of mind. I’ve seen tenants get arrested in the middle of the night and a drug user light his apartment on fire. In less than 2 years I’ve dealt and witnessed a lot. Good riddance

Living here has been a wonderful experience. The neighborhood feels safer than most town/cities, which gives me peace of mind every day. I also love how the surrounding nature adds a calming ambiance. The sunset is also a PLUS! It’s the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility!

I have been here for less than a week and I am very happy with the decision to live in this community. From the day I arrived for my appointment to see the facilities, the friendliness of the staff and the tranquility of the community made me feel at home, not to mention the flexibility and amenities that Renew Summit offers.

We just recently moved in but so far we love it here. Neighbors are very nice. Quiet and pet friendly neighborhood. Great location right in the middle of town. Walking distance to everything.

My experience has been very good, everyone from the manager till the maintenance team are friendly, the pool is great and the place is quiet

I rate my experience with a 5 Star because of Mark the property manager never have I met such a nice professional that goes up and beyond to making a move as smooth and reassuring as he did for me. The unit took some getting use to since I did have to downsize and get use to the patio being off to the bedroom and a few other minor issues over all I am very happy.

It really has been declining when I moved in management was on everything that needed to be done but as of late things are not done , communication is horrible and management does not follow through. Would really like to see a change for the better. I will say maintenance is always ready to help and really tries to do what they need but are really held back from upper authority

Maintenance and the front office staff are great! We moved in around March of 2024 and have nothing but positive reviews. The community is quiet, neighbors are friendly, and it stays clean! The laundry facilities are spotless, trash cans are kept of dirt and debris, and everyone is very friendly! Highly recommend ReNew Summit to anyone looking to rent. My husband and I have rented 4 apartments in the San Diego area and this ranks number 1!

Staff and complex were very nice. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The grounds were really nice and very clean.

Expect frequent random water shut offs with no warning. Parking sucks people are always in the wrong spots. Expect tons of annoying messages and emails regarding no one following parking rules but still management not actually doing anything about it. You’ll be greeted with dead rats out in the grass which management will take all day to pick up also. They have move in deals because everyone hates living here. Management never answers their phones emails or are in office.

My issues were resolved in a couple of days and Joe was very polite, courteous and efficient. It is wonderful to live in great community with a supportive maintenance team.

Renew summit is a great community. The amenities are nice and never over crowded. Only down fall is the parking sucks and people don’t respect the laundry room rules.

I love it here! Very clean environment the area is nothing compared Downtown San Diego. New place! New Year! New Life! ?? Everything that I would need is just seconds away, that’s the best thing about living in Alpine.

Very poor service when it comes to management due to office never being open to the residents. So hard when theres no one to contact when needed

Living in a safe and quiet community is my number one criteria. Been living here for quite a while now and wouldn't have it any other way. Life here is simple, and the area is full of nature.

With the recent change in management... Community amenities are now more well maintained and management staff are friendlier by far than in the past.

This is the best place to live. It’s quiet and peaceful. We can work out in the gym, go swimming in the pool, relax in the jacuzzi. We set. Up a bird feeder in the backyard to watch the birds and the hummingbirds.

Overall it’s good. The main thing is, if you’re having problems with your roommate in terms of rent, management can’t help you because of the type of lease it is. Also rent is pretty high for what you get. I don’t feel that the price is worth it. The location is good. Joe, the maintenance man is amazing and Brooke the leasing agent is always so kind and helpful. I really appreciate everything that she’s done for me.

When I first moved to this complex it was pretty quiet and I liked it. After the complex was taken over by new management everything seemed to change. The pool was closed alot. The gym was closed alot. Many older kids were loud, skateboarding at all times of the night. Older kids kept trashing the laundry room. When a tenant moves out they remodel and the rent goes up way higher.

Small town feel. Nice place to live, stores are walking distance, and amenities are enjoyable. Parking for visitors is sometimes difficult but my visitors have been lucky so far.

Community is good but needs work on some areas... We need more parking spaces , GYM should be open 24/7. Pool chemicals must be check twice a day.

Great location. I had expected it to be loud because it's next to the freeway, but it's very quiet. Nice neighbors, well keps facilities, and responsive maintenance.

Great living here perfect spot for my and my fiancé, the parking situation could be better maybe add a few more visitor spots but still nice community

Quiet and modern grounds. Easy and pleasant process. Needed a safer, more homey environment for my children and I and this checks most boxes.

Love living here because it is in a small town with a great neighborhood. The apartments a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staffs are always friendly and quick to respond to any issues.

It’s ok. New manager doesn’t reply to emails and no one pick up their dog poop so it always smells. The price of the apartments are worth the quality. The flooding at the bottom of the stairs hasn’t been fixed.

I like the community , the area is very quiet and the amenities are good. The Renew-summit staff answered all my questions,no complaints so far.

Brook was AMAZING and very quick to help us with anything at all, the homes are clean no bugs no damage and the dog areas are super cute much better than many apartments around!

I love my neighbors & the apt is nice- the maintenance crew is great, No complaints on them they are A ! Some some things I always mention (cleanliness but it’s more the other residents) but all in all happy to live here. Office staff friendly.

Good, laid back, family-friendly community. Helpful and attentive management. Great amenities available. Small issues include dog waste and minor repairs, but nothing extreme.

The people who live here are nice and the apartments are okay just a lot of maintence issues and the dog parks are dirty and there isn’t a designated area for people to dispose of their dogs waste

Brooke is absolutely amazing! She is always helpful. Overall the experience is good. There are a few things that are annoying. Maintenance doesn’t communicate very well which lead to an altercation with a neighbor. If you request a day and time for maintenance to come fix something they dont follow it. The bottom on the stairs floods when it rains and I have to walk through a puddle. Parking kinda sucks if you don’t have an extra space. The fitness room is nice so is the pool. Rent is too high for the look and value of the apartment. It’s probably because of the location.

It's a quiet community and a lot of times you can make friends with your neighbors but the only downside is that it can be tough to do some things bc slightly out of the way for town it does take a little longer drive and next to the highway but you get used to the noise

We recently moved here and it was the best decision yet! The staff it so nice and easy to work with always available. Walking distance to so many different stores.

If you want peace and hygiene don't come over renew summit apartments, loud and noisy neighbors, since it is pet friendly a lot of new people is coming in with a lot of dogs that bark for long periods of time, children next door scream for several hours in a row, not to mention the "Laundry room", disgusting place to wash your clothing full of animal hair in every machine, owners don't even clean their mess, rent is super high don't come here unless you don't have other option left.

Rats, ants, cigarette smoke. Gross inside. Bird poop all over porches. Unsafe construction. Holes in subfloor. Tripping constantly. Stairs unsafe. Thin windows, thin walls. Management always contradicting eachother. Unhealthy environment.

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED DO NOT RENT FROM HERE
