The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at ReNew Minnehaha
Old Toilet Screw broke/Low Water Pressure The maintenance team was quick to fix the toilet but could not do anything for the very very low water pressure in bathroom sink. Have to hold wash cloth awhile get whole face cloth wet & longer to soak wash clothe due to Centerspace signing contract with energy company that does not allow maintenance to correct the water pressure without breaking the contract. If there was a way I could the maintenance team a 5 & Centerspace a1, I would so I settled for for a 4, maintenance did a good job & handled it expeditiously.
Nice place to live Staff and residence are friendly and maintenance fix things in the apartment on a timely manner.

Excellent service! Kurtis replaced my old vanity in an efficient, speedy manner! He kept me well-informed of the replacement process, timing, and expectations. On the day the new vanity arrived, he removed the old one and installed the new one - it looks great! Thanks a bunch!

Mice infestation. I wish I could upload my camera footage I put on floor to see how bad the mice really are. Camera has been going off all night cause the mice keep running across it. Pest control has been here 4 times in two months but it gets worse each time. Deep cleaned my home cleared out clutter yet two mice are on my camera . Safe to say there is an infestation in this building and it needs to be condemned. To top it off the new lease they sent out was raising my rent lol I’m out of here! DO NOT Move HERE U HAVE BEEN WARNED !

Last Spring (2023), the apt had a large fire. 30 apt were lost due to the fire. The managers told us they would keep residents informed about what was going on and share details post the fire chiefs investigation, but didn’t. Their lack of communication post the fire is very upsetting and shows their lack of care towards their residents. When Centerspace bought the building they began requiring pet rent- this wasn’t ever the case for the first five years of me living here. They did this due to allowing dogs in the apt and due to their desire to earn more money than the apt is worth. If I owned a dog, I wouldn’t live here as there’s no where to walk them and people have allowed their dogs to crap in the stairways and in the trash shoot area-which is extremely disgusting. Currently there are only 8 washers and dryers in the entire apt and over 200 people in the building. Centerspace is focuses projects that aren’t even worth completing at this time rather than focusing on tasks that should be complete. Since the fire, the garage has been used to store all of the fridges and ovens and toilets from the apt damaged. This is causing the garage to be less appealing and trashy. Surrounding area of the building is very dirty. The apt below me has trash outside their back door and this wasn’t cleaned up for months and now is filled with trash again as the current residents in the apt are tossing all their trash out back. I have informed the management of things to help them and received no thanks or follow up emails. In my eyes this allows me to know they don’t care about the building or my efforts to help them make this a better apt. Lack of timely notice when they need to enter my apt. I have received notices with the wrong dates. Tasks that they’re doing in the apts have multiple steps meaning i have to be home from work multiple days when things could be done in one day rather than multiple days. For example, this summer the county was coming to look at the building (which requires them to set this up months in advance- I worked for the county so know their methods of these type of visits), but we get a days notice.

Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about your experience in our community. Please be assured that our team is working diligently to put everything back to normal. Regarding waste disposal, this is the first instance where our team has been made aware of such an issue. We have PooPrints DNA testing and we have only had to ever send in 2 samples as we don’t find dog poop around. The final batch of appliances is currently scheduled for pickup as well. These removals are part of our routine summer maintenance activities and are unrelated to the recent fire incident. We have made our best efforts to provide notices when access to units is necessary during the fire repairs and apologize for any inconvenience. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please contact us at woodhaven@centerspacehomes.com. Sincerely, The Woodhaven Team
Center Space Homes! They bought this building last year and have done nothing but raise the rent by $100's. You will live next to a cement factory and the planes will drive you nuts! They will raise your rent next year. KEEP LOOKING!

I've lived here since 2017 and I have really enjoyed the apt. I think the best aspect of it is the heated garage. They give you your own parking space, its priced well, and is super safe for your car. Apt layout wise I think my only complaint would be that they got rid of two floors worth of dryers and washers and there are only 6 of each in the total building. I think that was one of their mistakes as we pay for water and they had space for them, just frustrated that they did that. Other than that building is super safe, clean, pet friendly, and management is willing to work with you when needed. Also super good distance to the highway, target, Walmart, and other needed stores.
This place is a pretty average apartment building. It does not have the wow factor of all the 'modern, one-syllable' named complexes popping up in gentrified areas, but it is fairly well kept and comfortable. Some of the pros include: some updates to fixtures in kitchen and bathroom, as well as flooring. The rent is fairly affordable for the metro, and the location is great! Very close to suburban shopping, and city-life all in one. The staff are friendly and pleasant to work with. There are, however, many cons. The halls sometimes smell like 1950's Las Vegas (smokey and cheap perfume). The balconies are creepy and in need of repair. Ceilings in the halls are somewhat low and not well lit. Renovations take forever, they have been in the process of replacing the door numbers for at least six months (not sure what the hold up is), and they underutilize modern technology. Laundry will be replaced with card-machines (currently coin) and they underuse email communications. The neighborhood is in need of gentrification. Very industrial with poor sidewalks, with a very creepy cemetery a half block away. Would I move here again? Probably not. Will I renew my lease? No. But for now, its alright.
Aside from having a heated garage, woodhaven ‘s staff are super friendly, the building is fully secured, staff live on site and can assist when needed, and the neighbors are great. Although rent is a little high for a one bedroom, I don’t mind paying it considering what I get out of the complex.
Do not waste your time with this place. The cleanliness is very bad. The windows in the common areas, exit doors and other locations are rarely ever cleaned. If you look real close you will dust on the carpet along the edges of the walls, around the pipes in the stair wells dating back several years. the cleaning person sprays soo much scented deoderizer to mask the smells. Falsely advertising a Billiards room, when it has been removed for months now. A sauna that takes hours to heat up before you can use it. State of the art excercise room, REALLY!!! Loose stairwell handrails you would think maintenance would have observed in the past two years. The back parking lot stairwell has been falling apart for a few years. When it snows, forget about it getting shoveled. The maintenance guy does not drive so why would he clear it for the tenants. It took a year for maintenance to replace a closet door. But they keep raising the rent because they need to remodel instead of fixing or replacing things as they break. I guess their moto is, "let things get to a disgusting state to justify uping the rent" Staff will pass by apartments with "POT" smoke billowing out of apartments and never say a word. So if your a drug user this is the place to be. If you don't want Maintenance snooping around your apartment, make sure your there when something need to be fixed. The mail carrier for this building has left the mail boxes unlocked for anyone to steal your mail. Has also left stacks of mail on top of the pop machine. Will leave your packages laying in the hallway for anyone to steal. OHHH, and above all do not trust the property manager Alexsandra. Very incompetant and Lies very well with a smile. Indoor pool is great. But when winter comes you cannot use it because they do not keep it heated enough. Do you wanna be a human icecube? I made a mistake signing a lease and then staying. I'll pay more for a better environment.
New, cabinets and counter tops have been installed in most apartments but the appliances and flooring are severely dated with no plans to update. Hallways and laundry rooms are clean, but dated. Management is pleasant but makes outrageous claims to get renters in the door. However, maintenance staff is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Indoor pool and exercise room are clean and enjoyable. Common shower, bathroom and pool table room are dated and unpleasant. Sauna does not work and advertised tanning bed is non-existent. Off-street parking is at a premium and not guaranteed. Overall, I like the location, the size of the apartments are good but it is not luxurious in the least. I would recommend for transitional living at best.
Relatively small, well priced apartments. New cabinets and counters make the apartments very appealing. Pool and "gym" amenities included in the rent. Parking seems to be a problem, as the lot can fill up before 11pm. You may have to park on the street late at night.
I went to view an apartment but he manager was in her office so I had to wait in the lobby. First of all the windows in the sitting area facing Lyndale were utterly filthy the order in the building was horrible. Clearly this building needs a complete overhaul. One the manager was done with her business she took me into her office the carpet on the floor was filthy. I told her that I was looking for an apartment with a balcony but none was available to see. She setup an appointment for me to come back the next day - I hated to do it but I had no intention of going back. I could not get over what I had just witnessed I certainly could not live there regardless of what the apartment looked. This complex needs some serious, serious upkeep...I hate to be so critical but it is what it is...I could not wait to leave there.
