Between Mount Baker and Bellingham Bay, this Pacific Northwest city combines outdoor recreation with a welcoming downtown atmosphere. Western Washington University's campus brings energy to the community of 94,720 residents. The rental market remains steady, with average rents ranging from $1,342 for studios to $3,116 for four-bedroom units, showing year-over-year increases between 0.6% and 3.5%. The Fairhaven Historic District offers character-filled apartments near local shops, while downtown features converted industrial spaces now home to residential units.
Whatcom Falls Park spans 241 acres with four waterfalls and an extensive trail network. The historic Mount Baker Theatre, dating to 1927, anchors the local arts scene. The waterfront district continues to expand with new residential developments and improved public spaces along Bellingham Bay. Located midway between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., Bellingham offers easy access to both cities.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Regency Park
I’ve been here almost 3 years and haven’t had any issues. Maintenance is done when requested, staff is helpful, and the property is kept clean.
Property Manager at Regency Park, Responded To This Review
Hi there! Thank you for your kind words about us here at Regency. We strive to make all our residents happy. Regards, Regency Management Team
I love living here and the surrounding area. Not only are the staff friendly but there is so much to do near by. The kids and I love walking to the creek or going to whatcom falls to BBQ. The apartment is fairly spacey and you have an option for a washer and dryer. The school is amazing. I have watched my special needs child blossom since we moved here.
Rent is not bad here. The staff is friendly and and willing to work with you. There are mostly families living in this complex so there are lots of kids. There are so many fun things to enjoy in the area. Creek, hikes, whatcom falls, and just absolutely beautiful scenery. The school is wonderful. My daughter gets the best help possible. I have watched her grow so much in the past 3 years compared to other schools. If your looming for a place come here.
I've lived here for 2+ years and I'm very happy with it. I rent a one bedroom and pay about 750 a month and that includes the washer and dryer. It is a large community and lots of families so you will get a lot of kids running around and doing what kids do. But you get a clubhouse with vending machines, a pool, workout room, tanning beds, and a theater. You get a lot of value.
