Delaware, Ohio is a bustling community about 30 miles north of Columbus. Ohio Wesleyan University resides in downtown Ohio and brings a college town feel to the area. To the west of the Olentangy River in downtown, you’ll find an abundance of incredible, family-owned restaurants such as Son of Thurman. This local burger eatery has been in business and family-owned since 1942. Another great place to support locally-owned businesses is Staas Brewing Company.
The Delaware Municipal Airport is located in town, as well as three different golf courses and multiple parks. About eight miles north of downtown Delaware, you’ll find Delaware Lake and State Park. There you’ll have access to River Run Park where you can kayak/canoe down the Olentangy River. Amazing ! Redwood was amazing. The staff in the front office Kelly and Mary were amazing. If anything was wrong or you had a maintenance request it would be handled that day. I cannot say enough. We relocated to Florida . If we ever decide to come back we will come back to redwood.

Beautiful but I lived in Redwood for over 3 years. It’s very nice and maintained well the staff is amazing but there is nothing offered as far pools or anything not even a place to have a garden and as expensive as it is you should offer something. Even the walking paths there aren’t great because of goose poop everywhere in the summer.

We as renters were given no notice from the complex that there is a change in water billing. Fooled you into thinking you’re signing early to get a discount. I heard this from another tenant. All along they are changing the water billing to every 3 months. Not one word mentioned of this. They water the lawns here all summer long. Who will they charge?? The renters!! Very dishonest!!!!
Did not disclose to me that we would pay a separate water bill after I talked with the office manager about renewing my lease. This is a major change because water was always included in the rent and should be disclosed to all residents.
My husband and I lived there from Fall of 2015 to June of 2017. Upon move out, the carpet had delaminated and they charged us for the replacement when the original manager Jeremy told us the pick of this carpet was geared to be replaced every 3 years at best. We turned the keeps in 2 weeks early, cleaned impeccably and had were moved. The manager Aaricka said she didn't have time to walk the apartment with us. They then proceeded to charge us in our rent for their mandated utilities and pet rent for the next 2 weeks, this amounted to approximately $90.00. The utilities, electric and gas, refused to let us turn off the utilities that we had control over until the 15th as Redwood and the property manager Aaricka would not give permission. The utilities took at least a month to get straightened out. We moved on 5/2017. Cleaned and turned in the keys on 5/31/17 and they charged us till 6/15/17. They had no down time or turn around as the next couple moved in on 6/15/17. We had always paid early or on time for the whole time we were there. We would also come home and find the door locked by the knock lock as the maintenance had been in the apartment without prior notice or consent or left notice. The only way I knew was that they locked me out and I had to find one of them to get back in. I would not live here again and we are in the process of exploring our legal rights to avoid the $845 bill we have been fighting since July of 2017. Do not move here.
This place is a great place to live, the staff is helpful and friendly, it's clean and safe neighborhood that is a great place for pets.
I moved in in January 2015 and this place is awesome! The apartments are so spacious and has a 2 car attached garage. The grounds are maintained well and the staff is very friendly and always there to help you! This is the finest place to live in Delaware.
