10 miles south of Lake Erie, Chardon is a charming small town located within the “Snow Belt” of the Buckeye State. Chardon has an average of 78 inches of snow per year, making it a wonderland for snowflake lovers. Chardon is a part of Geauga County, which is known around the world for being one of the best places to make maple syrup. The suburban town has good schools, making it a great place to raise families.
For fun, you can find the community spending their time outdoors. There are several golf courses and parks in the area. Take a stroll down a portion of the Buckeye Trail, a 1,444-mile hiking pathway that loops through wooded trails, rivers, and abandoned railroads to give a special perspective of the state. Chardon also has a very strong performing arts scene. The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild produces a series of youth shows and plays. The theater also offers dances classes.

The cleaning crew not so much. Lots of construction dust all over and floors were mopped before sweeping so drywall dust turned into mud swirls when dry. Glue residue and writing still on bathroom mirrors. Otherwise everything is great.
