Southwest Raleigh borders the scenic campus of North Carolina State University and houses many shopping centers and apartment complexes to accommodate students. The western edge of the neighborhood gives way to more established subdivisions full of families and professionals. Residents enjoy easy access to major expressways, Downtown Raleigh, and nearby Cary. Sporting events and festivals put on by the university are a major benefit to living in this suburb. Considering its proximity to major amenities, Southwest Raleigh stays relatively quiet and encompasses many natural areas, lakes, and green spaces for locals to enjoy the outdoors and Raleigh’s temperate climate.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Redpoint Raleigh
The apartment was not bad and when we had issues they worked to resolve it, however, when my daughter decided to leave she noticed that she had been over charged and asked for a refund, at first they told her she was lucky that she was getting a refund, they said the refund could take up to a month after she moved out, they also deducted $6 (from every one of the four roommates) for ONE trash bag that was left behind. Last week was that month timeframe, their response is that the check was mailed out and that they had heard from vendors that mail has been delayed (a whole month?), in any case, now they said that corporate wants us to wait another two weeks due to mail delays in order to cancel check if we have not received. Just be aware of extra charges since they are fast to take money if it is owed to them but not refund in timely manner.

Hey Alejandra, we're glad Victoria enjoyed her time here at Redpoint Raleigh and apologize for the postal delays she is experiencing. Hopefully she receives it soon as it was mailed it out five days after she moved out. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have further questions, (919) 766-2500.
Friendly staff, overall great experience, highly recommend.
To anyone considering living here, don't. Any parent wondering if this is a good place for their college student to live, it is not. It is outrageously expensive for NO reason. There is no guest parking, the amenities never operate correctly, the pool is closed almost every week, and the price of living here changes dramatically once you move in. The charges for running AC or heat is super high and the bill is always more expensive than the last. The townhouses are nice, if you're lucky. The employees are all students who could care less about their jobs or the residents. The clean up crew does a horrible job at the end of the year. Just don't live here, don't do it.
The staff, the property, the amenities...that never even work...everything here is a joke. Lived here for 3 years(only stayed because it was convenient) and everything has been broken since the day I moved in. Maybe 1 or 2 of the treadmills in the TINY gym work...if you're lucky. The "computer lab" has never worked. The staff is a bunch of college students who get free rent if they work in the front office. They don't care if you have a problem and they are unbelievably rude. The people who left a 5 star review for this place work in the front office and are required to do so. It is the worst place to live in Raleigh.
