Welcome to Athens, Georgia, home to the University of Georgia's historic campus. Current rental trends show moderate prices, with one-bedroom apartments averaging $1,173 per month and two-bedrooms at $1,378, both experiencing a slight decrease from last year. The rental market includes diverse housing options throughout established neighborhoods like Five Points and Normaltown. The walkable downtown district, which borders UGA's North Campus, features local boutiques and restaurants alongside venues that celebrate the city's rich musical heritage, including the 40 Watt Club and Georgia Theatre where R.E.M. and The B-52s first performed.
The State Botanical Garden of Georgia offers 313 acres of trails and themed gardens, while Memorial Park provides walking paths and a bear habitat. The city's history is preserved in its antebellum architecture and historic districts, particularly visible in the Greek Revival buildings downtown that earned Athens its "Classic City" nickname.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Red Oak Village
I found this complex while searching online while living abroad. I called the number and immediately spoke with a representative named Ivy. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. After the initial conversation, I had many followup questions via email...some probably seemed 'dumb' but she answered every one of them. I completed all the required paperwork over the internet and Ivy let me know when I was approved and the next steps. Because I was out of the country, I asked if I may have a friend come view the unit and video the actual unit I'd be renting. Ivy made arrangements to have the key available to my friend to view. They even worked with me with regard to other specifics because I was not in the country. I truly am very appreciative of all the assistance given to me to get into this rental. I am now almost a month living here and I am very happy with the unit and the complex. Lovely place to live!
Worst customer service I have ever experience from a property. Talked to property manager about my grievances basically was defensive the whole time umprofessional poor customer service. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me there was nobody else but the owner and he doesn’t even take calls or response back. Will be glad when the lease is up so we can get out of there, too much money for rent for such poor customer service. Oh yea she hung up on me.
The management is poor. The property manager NEVER responds! She has assistance who do everything! Very unprofessional! You can never get in contact with anyone to fix an issue! My AC was messed up for 5 days! I couldn't get in contact with no in regards to the problem then they took our deposit because of it. And we had ANTS with a toddler and she would not move us! I don't not recommend this property
