Property Ratings at Reagan at Bear Creek
If I could give negative stars I would. This was the absolute WORST renting experience I've ever had. To start the office workers were very uneducated about anything when it came to the leasing process, as well as they lost my initial application. We should have taken that as a sign but we still moved in. When we moved in out water smelt of rotten boiled eggs. Which was not fixed for about 2 weeks after our move in date. Our dishwasher broke 3 times total living here for 18 months and each time it was "fixed" it was never even actually fixed. There was SO MUCH MOLD! When we brought this to the attention of management. It was PAINTED OVER! There was no cleaning done to remove the mold. This was a battle we faced with management and maintenance for months. We were forced to pay for valet trash that was never picked up. We constantly had leaks in our apartment from the dishwasher to the patio to the bathrooms. My closet was falling apart for months which also took me going into the office to speak to "management" about 10+ times before it was actually fixed. During the move out process we were told if we dropped off our keys a few days early we would be charged for breaking our lease. We paid for a professional cleaner to come in and clean our apartment before moving out and we were still charged for their carpet cleaning services. On our "move out expenses" they charged us 2 times for renters insurance when we had our own renters insurance which they have copies of that they continued to "lose". Each time I went to the office to confront them regarding any issue I was pushed off and never helped. They lost COUNTLESS packages, I eventually had to have my packages delivered to my job. Oh did I mention the BUGS. There were gnats everywhere in our apartment even though we were very clean and did not leave food drinks or anything out. We were charged for "pest control" also on our "move out expenses". If you don't want AC move here because out AC never got lower than 83°-90°, our bill was still a whopping $300+. Oh also during our move out I found ADDITIONAL MOLD in my closet. I'll attach photos for your sake. If you're thinking of moving here. Please BEWARE.
After you tell them you’re not renewing the lease, they don’t fix nothing. I’ve been without a microwave for 3 weeks & my toilet will not flush without adding water. My carpet also was never cleaned during move in. The take there time to complete tasks. The new management is horrible.
New Management is horrible. Mold in Apartments that’s being painted over. Water lines are corroded and old. Dishes are cleaner before they go into the dishwasher.
Don't plan on getting married in the middle of your lease. Your future spouse will have to fill out a separate application to live in your unit, and there's no guarantee of it being accepted.
The assistant manager has been amazing from the application process, to move in day, to making sure all last minute work orders get done!! They have been on it! I highly recommend them due to the beautiful apartments, quick response time, and very quick turn around time to maintenance! 5 stars!!
We lived in building 7 for four years. We had the most incredible neighbors. My hubby would travel often and I always felt safe within the sweet community. When Reagan took over management, we absolutely adored the property!! They kept everything maintained, were quick and kind when responding, and met our needs well. Parking is not fun, but is a GREAT way to get exercise. We saved up and have moved into a home, but I still miss living at Reagan some days with the sweet neighbors, clean pool, and running trails outside our door. Would highly recommend!!
Just moved in one month ago and I must say Maintenance is "johnny on the spot" when it comes to making repairs immediately! No sooner than I put in a work order, the next day or two someone is there to fix it! Parking can be a bit iffy if you know what I mean. Hard to get a spot close to my door so I usually wait in my car for a bit until someone pulls out, otherwise I have to walk a good distance with my groceries and baggage.
Property Manager at Reagan at Bear Creek, Responded To This Review
Hi, we appreciate all resident feedback so thank you for leaving us this review. We are glad that you are enjoying your time here and especially the kind words about our maintenance. Please feel free to stop by the office to ask about maybe a carport or garage as they both have special prices currently. We would love the chance to assist you in making your stay here even better!
Location is ok, but the residents are horrible. The management are nice, but seem to be incompetent. The noise is never dealt with by management. There is always trash sitting around everywhere because no one complies w/ the trash pick up times/days. There is also dog poop everywhere. I've complained numerous times and the management says they will deal with it but nothing ever changes. There is a new management company worried more about the paint and power washing the side walks than dealing with these issues. I've lived here 2 years and it's done nothing but get worse and worse. I wish I could include pictures. Either way, I can't wait to move out!
My husband and I moved in not even a month ago and it has been a HUGE nightmare. First off, if you have dogs, please don't even consider this place. They have a HORRIBLE snake issue that they aren't doing anything about. My dog got bit a few days ago and I had to spend $900 to get him fixed and the apartments had no mercy for him. We were not told at all by Ashleigh that they had a bad snake problem. Also, their parking is god awful. This place isn't worth it at all. Run while you can!!!!!
I currently live here and hate every second of it. The complex is disgusting and God forbid you need maintenance outside the hours of 9-5. We woke up to water flooding our front door. I called at 5am and didn't hear a thing till 9 when they finally answered my call.
Do not live here of you expect to be able to park near your building. I had a rental car at one point and all 3 visit spots were full, so I used a regular uncovered parking spot. I got towed an hour after parking there and paid $300 in SOUTH Arlington to get it back. Management was unapologetic and told me I should of park at the other end of the complex, through a separate pair of gates, to get to my apartment. Ridiculous! Their gates were not working the first 6 months I lived here and continue to break down on a weekly basis. The Apartment Office closes at 5:30 but I hardly ever see anyone there at 5:00. There are also a lot of copperhead snakes from the woods that I see all the time by the parking lot.
It is the worst apartment I have ever come across! They are big cheaters and knows very well how to make money by making the residents fool! The management says that they are here for residents not for the visitors.. so we should live our lives without our relatives according to their books! They don't even have a proper parking for visitors. If the visitors come and remains their till late night they guys tow their cars and have shares with the towing companies! No proper maintenance, No cleaning, and above all, its is actually a gated community. They make money by saying the future residents that it is a gated community but in reality the gates are hardly closed! they are open 24/7. That's their security.Huh! I would like to request everyone of you to please consider every single thing that I have discussed here and think 1000 times before signing the lease! I would not not even rate this apartment a single star!
Parking is a joke. They use EXCALIBUR towing which is a horrible towing company almost 20 miles away which I'm pretty sure is illegal. They have literally 10 visitors parking spots and will tow immediately so out of 300 units 10 people can have a visitor? No lights in the parking lot horrible maintenance. They have snakes. Just don't move here
I come home late 3 times a week and it had been hard to find a parking spot around my building and the next building. One night there was nothing but a covered parking spot and I made sure no one rented that spot so I had to park there. Well my car got towed and it cost me 300.00!!! Where was I suppose to park?? The manager argued with me that I need to go park at the back of the property far away from my apartment that it was all my fault! I do not feel safe late at night walking many buildings away! Nicole in the office was was rude and totally unhelpful! My argument is if you can't provide ample parking I shouldn't have a penalty against me for needing to park near my building or even the next building for that matter! Good luck dealing with the office cause they are no help! Ashley in the office however admitted there is a parking issue! This is just a fair warning I wouldn't live here because you can't find parking!
while looking for apartments I keep a few things in mind. rent , atmosphere, friendliness and speed of office staff, and cleanliness of property at night time I walk through apartment complex's to get a better idea of what I would be dealing with . the airport is close so obviously you will hear the jets overhead yes it is loud but you get used to it. the apartments are very well insulated I keep my thermostat at 68 degrees all the time and my bill has only gotten as high as $180.00 not bad considering it was 108 degrees for the summer time. I live on the bottom floor and barley hear the upstairs kids moving about. hey do you like to grill guess what you can store your grill on the patio and use your own grill you just have to be 10 feet away from the buildings and trees easily done. do you need a garage guess what there are door openers and power outlets in there too bonus. every one is very friendly glad I moved here.
Good luck finding a parking spot......ever! Absolutely horrible parking situation. They should tear down the garages and make them parking spots. Also, if there is no spots left, beware parking in a covered space. If it belongs to someone, you'll get your car keyed and tires slashed. Didn't happen to me, but we saw it alot. Also, management doesn't care if you've been in the hospital for about 8 days, but you better keep your porch clean or they'll fine you 100 bucks. Dont even bother looking. Just drive on by and go someplace else.
If you have more than one vehicle this is NOT the place for you, there is not enough parking spaces so you are forced to buy a covered spot or risk getting your car towed as a renter.
We have lived here for 4 years and seen the quality of services going down hill every year. Moved in looking at park nearby but felt trapped. Apartment is dirty. Apartment managers never kept their promises and finally, we decided to move out. Even then, mgmt is making money thru unnecessary exit costs. To top it, the recent property manager is a rude girl. Pls. do not get trapped.
