Ravenswood Terrace

I liked this complex a lot but there are a few things to take into consideration when deciding whether to live here. 1) employees who worked on the property are fantastic, however management will keep on ridiculously increasing the rent to a point of unaffordability and I needed to move out. Don’t expect to live here long term. 2) the walls are thin enough to hear conversations and having tenants living above you will consist of constantly hearing footsteps. Pets living above you are a constant noise. 3) community is safe and neighbors are nice. Dog owners sometimes don’t clean up their dogs poops but for the most part it is. Management will sometimes send emails out for that. If you keep your doors open during nice days you will hear kids playing/screaming and dogs barking. In the apartment complex courtyard there are children’s toys everywhere. They clean them up sometimes. 4) the location is good for Metra riders, but a bit of a walk for CTA brown line commuters and a walk I didn’t want to do during bad weather. Get use to constantly hearing the metro flyby. No peace and quiet here. In sum, this place is good but not a long term apartment complex. Retention is minimum 2 or 3 yrs max. It’s more money for management to force you out and re-list the apartment per market conditions than slowly raising the rent.

Ravenswood Terrace is a great place to live. The building is impeccably maintained and professionally managed. I would recommend this building to anyone interested in a community with a great location.

I've had a great experience here with RW terrace. They're really accommodating and work hard to ensure that you're stay is a good time.

The apartments have a great layout, the community is nice, pretty and peaceful. Neighbors are great people and everyone looks out for each other. Great place to live!

Great and efficient work. They resolved my AC issues within the first 24 hours.

Always looking forward to coming home from a long day of work where there's always peaceful, quiet and clean community! And on off days or holidays being able to grill or relax on the rooftop or patio it's just serene. And the planned community events by our property manager is always engaging and something to look forward to. Can't forget our maintenance team they do attend to all requests within decent turn around time including off hours that require emergency handling. I'm happy and content with RAVENSWOOD TERRACE!

It is a great place to live for a small family, young couple or individual. Great location, security, close down units, clean and safe environment and neighborhood.

I really like it here. It’s a little on the expensive side, but I feel safe and the finishes of the apartments are excellent. The train is at a 10-15min walk and Mariano’s is right by Ravenswood terrace, which is really convenient. Also love that this is a pet friendly community. If you have a car, you can park in the street for free but there isn’t always lot of places left. The whole team of staff is extremely nice!

The title says it all. Although the apts are nice and the location is great, all else has gotten really crappy. We were without a property manager for almost a year, during which time the property has really gone down. We've been slammed with bulk internet included in the rent, not told to us until now. So for six months I was double paying for internet service. I work from home and now my service is terrible. Add to that, now they've stopped taking partial payments. So if you're in a roommate situation, it makes paying your rent more cumbersome. There are so many vacancies now. Multiple units are moving out every month; a number of them breaking their leases. Now that speaks volumes!

Great place to live. Very close to all the important places like Gym, Shopping places and Metra.

RT is a a great place to live. The apartment and complex is clean and quiet. Management is responsive and professional. The community is really friendly and supportive of each other; genuine friendships form here. Dog lovers are welcome.

Ravenswood Terrace has great outdoor gathering areas. The landscaping and garden area are inviting to birds, rabbits and squirrels if you like watching/listening to nature. There are a lot of personable canine residents and the neighbors are friendly. The location is top notch - easy access (bike, public transit, walk, drive) to parks, restaurants, shopping, transportation, etc. Maintenance and front office staff are attentive and courteous. Maintenance kept the walkways clear of snow/ice to each door during winter storms and made spring landscaping improvements in 2021. The night sky seems unusually hospitable for stargazing in clear conditions. The apartments are thoughtfully laid out, good natural lighting and nice patios. The biggest negative is the lack of soundproofing between units and bedrooms. There are some occasional repair issues due to construction workmanship of the previous owners but they are addressed promptly.

The staff and crew make the most exceptional effort in keeping the property cleaned and maintained. They are exceptionally warm, friendly, and approachable. All notifications are concise and accurate with more than fair timelimes to prepare for any possible obstacle.

I really love the neighborhood and community Ravenswood Terrace is located.

Ravenswood Terrace has a suburban/cul-de-sac energy, but a few steps away and you are in the midst of everything the city has to offer! The exterior and interior of the apartments are top notch. Maintenance is requested through an online portal and are very efficiency. Would definitely suggest this place to live in!

I have had a great experience living here and the TLC maintenance team is great!

I have only lived here since November and have had nothing but great experiences. The maintenance men are quick to accommodate your needs. Snow was heavy and they managed to keep it maintained as well as can be expected. I'm very outgoing and have met alot of neighbors and their dogs and feel very at home here.

Convenient location. Excellent features/finishes inside the units.

Overall great community to live in.

Ive been here almost six years. As a senior, it is a comfort to feel safe, especially in todays climate in the World.

Renting in the time of covid was challenging but leaving agent was very helpful. This is a very pretty complex. Very convenient location.

We absolutely loved living at Ravenswood Terrace! We stayed in the small one bedroom apartment, but still felt like we had so much space and storage! You couldn't live in a more convenient area. There is a Mariano's and LA Fitness within walking distance as well as the Metra in case you needed to go downtown. They are pet friendly and there is even a park within walking distance. Everything was kept very clean and everyone was super friendly! We definitely recommend this place!

Ravenswood Terrace made my search for housing easy. With the location and friendly staff, the choice became a real no-brainer.

Great location. You can hear you're above apartments walk sometimes but nothing too bad. Overall, it is pretty quiet area.

Ive live at Ravenswood Terrace since the day my building opened and the inside and outside are still as clean and neat as when I moved in.

The property looks nice enough, but good luck getting in touch with anyone when you need them. They'll never return your calls and there's very high turnover among the employees there so the replacement never knows what is going on. Very poorly managed and zero customer service. Even if you try to reach out to corporate sometimes their voicemail is full. Never ending process to get help with anything or have any one respond to your calls and e-mails. I I wouldn't recommend anything managed by Greystar.

I've been living at the Ravenswood Terrace Apartments for over a year. The new building space is conveniently located, has great amenities, and plenty of space and upgrades for a fair price. I love it!

Overall a beautiful and relaxing property in the north side Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago, and new construction in 2014. Finishes, appliances, and designs of the apartments are modern and appealing. Property is well landscaped and maintained. Property sits along a Metra line which can be a bit noisy at times. The developer/architect should have chosen better windows and insulation methods to help cut down the noise. The trains only run approx. once per hour and stop around 11-11:30pm so not all bad for city standards. The floor plans are open and roomy with decent sized bedrooms. 2 bedroom units have 2 full baths, one being a master connected to a bedroom. Most units have a walk out balcony. The property consists of 2 building which face each other overlooking a beautifully landscaped courtyard. The front façade designs give the impression of condominiums more than apartments. The property offers an on site gym, rooftop deck with a gas grill, flat screen TV, and lounge furniture. Also offers a second gas grill, patio style furniture, and garden plots in the courtyard. Parking is offered as open air or covered but only one spot is available per unit. This property offers suburban living within the city on a quiet (except for the train) dead end street in a family neighborhood just a short walk from Lincoln Square.
