Springlake-University Terrace is a neighborhood situated in Shreveport centered towards the Texas-Louisiana border. The neighborhood is in a great location about ten minutes south of the city’s electric downtown and about 15 minutes east of Shreveport Regional Airport.
Within Springlake-University Terrace, residents are provided with many great amenities such as Willis-Knighton Pierremont Hospital and Fern Avenue Trail that follows Bayou Pierre. Gathered along Youree Drive, the highway that runs through town, are multiple retailers including grocers, department stores, restaurants, and more. As its name suggests, this neighborhood is home to Louisiana University in Shreveport. The scenic campus is located off East Kings Highway towards the edge of town.

Property Ratings at Raintree
YOU CAN FIND CHEAPER AND BETTER IN THE AREA. Raintree is extremely overpriced. These apartments are outdated and the kitchens are disgusting and too small. The doors don't even lock. You can open any apartment by just pushing it a little. There's virtually no amenities besides the pool (which is overrun by high school kids) Their new office is definitely not a reflection of the rest of the complex. There's no parcel boxes either, so you have to wait until the office workers (lazy, wastes of space) decide to answer the phone to get your packages. 0/5 stars.
They Don't consider your A/C going out as an Emergency. We had a newborn and had to get a hotel for the night. The parking sucks. They do not enforce their policy about parking issues with the apartment complex next to us. The rent keeps going up each time re re-up the lease and now they are adding water to the bill which includes you paying for Gas???? you can hear everything. The pool area has a rule against outside guest and you having to wear a bracelet but they don't enforce it. this place is an all around bad choice. Don't move hear due to the cost and the small list of amenities.
My wife and I recently stayed in these apartments and love the neighborhood, but the staff is always rude except Emily in the office. They are always working outside of the apartments with some kid of construction, which is extremely unpleasant even on the weekends. Really the only problem we had with the apartments is the office staff. If you can look past the attitudes, who think they are always better than you, then you can enjoy until you find something better.
