The U-shaped southern border of Copperfield is framed by green space – the Walnut Creek Greenbelt meets Copperfield Park, providing miles of hiking trails, lakes, and creeks.
Wide, tree-lined streets framed by sidewalks wind through the residential areas that are filled with bungalows and ranch-style homes. Residents can commute to downtown or to the University of Texas at Austin via I-35 or by bus – the neighborhood provides ample bus stops throughout. As Copperfield is mainly residential, residents travel outside the neighborhood for most of their shopping and dining.
