I’m experiencing significant issues with my apartment. After submitting a repair request, I received an email saying the repairs were completed, but when I checked, nothing had been done. Additionally, I've been struggling with a cockroach infestation. Despite submitting multiple pest control requests over the past few months, the problem has only worsened. When I asked the manager for assistance, I was initially promised a transfer to a different apartment, but that off retracted without notice. Now, I’ve received an email stating they want to charge me for roach cleaning. Want me to go through empty my kitchen leaving my house come back clean the kitchen please my stuff again. On top of that paying for it. And let’s just forget about the other repairs that it was not done since I moved in for months ago. This level of service is unprofessional and shows a lack of care from the management team.

I’d like to clarify a few points regarding your pest control requests and the situation surrounding your apartment. Each time you submitted a request for pest control, your unit was placed on the pest control list, and the issue was treated accordingly. However, as the infestation escalated, a more intensive treatment was required, which we scheduled and notified you about with ample time to prepare for the necessary cleanout. Unfortunately, when the exterminator arrived to perform the treatment, entry was denied, and we were informed that you preferred the unit not be treated until after you moved out. We want to clarify that you were not charged for the pest treatment itself, but rather a trip fee, as this change was not previously discussed. We strongly advised allowing the treatment to be done immediately, as delaying it would only make it more difficult to control the issue, potentially making you responsible for further problems. Regarding the apartment transfer, we'd like to assure you that the offer was never retracted. We explained the process and were working on finding a more convenient and seamless solution for you. We apologize if this led to any misunderstanding. We also acknowledge that your move-in experience didn’t meet our usual standards, and we’ve been actively working to address those initial issues. Throughout this process, our goal has been to resolve your concerns as professionally, promptly, and thoughtfully as possible. We have continued to offer assistance and accommodations to ensure a better living experience for you. If there’s anything further you would like to discuss or if there’s a way we can assist moving forward, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I have lived in this apartment for a year. The two worst things are the leasing staff and the billing department. Although I vacated the apartment one day before, they charged me 1 additional day rent. I tried explaining, but they wouldn't listen and needed some proof like an email on vacating day. I provided clear detailed notice of the damage when I rented this apartment, and they did not have a record in their database and mentioned the resident needed a copy (not mentioned when I submitted the document). Management does not respond to emails or phone calls regarding the issue, and management will not take any responsibility for it.

The apartment management's response to cleanliness and safety concerns has been disappointing, with promises of action unfulfilled and safety hazards overlooked. I stayed here for one year the locality is good but leasing and billing department is worst part of it. In my case i have vacated the property before the leasing end but they have charged me for 2 additional days rent. And there is no way to explain about the dispute no one will listen our concerns. Very bad experience with of management . I rented this appointment from old graystar company later it has been purchased by style resident during my move in I have given my clear notes on issues we have in apartment like property damages and all, but after moving out this new company trying to charge me on those damages with out keeping track of records. How can they blame the tenants on which they are not responsible. AVOID TAKING THIS HOUSE. They don’t respond to our emails and no proper contact number to discuss on our issues.
Beware! These guys will be very sweet to you on your face but will stab you on your back the moment you vacate the apartment. I lived here for 2 years and vacated the apartment in March 2023. I have no complaints about our stay except that the maintenance requests used to take a lot of time. After we vacated the apartment we were sent a bill of $500plus for nothing. We went to request the management to review the bills and offer us any possible discounts as we were always punctual in our monthly payments and never created issues for anyone around. We left the apartment in wonderful ready to move condition. The property manager sent to us in writing that they would waive off the charges for us. We kept following up to see the revised amount for us to pay as we were always willing to pay any dues on us. After months of follow up and emails no one got back to us and they sent our account directly to collections agency. Frustrating and irritating at the same time. I would never recommend these apartments for anyone. Please be careful! I ignored the previous similar reviews and today I am in trouble.
We had an issue with our apartment, and we’re really happy with how Charlise, the leasing agent, and Lyndsay, the apartment manager, handled our concerns. They listened, were courteous and professional/ didn’t give excuses or expect us to “just live with the problem”. Charlise was particularly helpful, and took it upon herself to make sure we were satisfied that everything had been “made right”. Very pleased with our apartment at Preston View.
New owners refuse to receive USPS packages or make a way for residents to receive them (such as lockers with keys). Instead they are requiring you to hire an outside service or it gets sent to local post office (which is only open M-F during regular working hours, so you either take vacation time or items get returned to sender in 7 days!). Dog wash station hasn’t worked in two years. Residents required to pay monthly pest control but when you notify them of a pest issue, it could be a month or more before you see anyone. Very good maintenance guy now (09/2022)…hope he stays! Very quiet and respectful neighbors here…family oriented and dog friendly. Love the valet trash pick-up.

Preston View is a great place to live in my opinion. We have person of all age categories. Contact the places where seniors go to see if there is bus service and advise us by email.

I have lived in Preston since 2008. I was on the verge of moving away because I was so disappointed and disgusted with the quality of life in my community over the years. It had gone downhill rapidly. I fell like I was paying Embassy suite $$ to stay a the Motel 6!!! Not kool!!! Greystar took over at the right time. They are slowly renewing my love for this community again and my desire to remain here as a resident until I decide to purchase a home. Keep up the good work.

Neighbors are considerate and friendly for the most part. Some people are still going into the Gym without a mask. The office staff are congenial and attentive to questions and/or comments.

I'm living here for 4 years, always loved this community and people. However, recently, I noticed few things are not friendly - 1 - Swimming pools were closed without notice to tenants recently. When I asked they said Chlorine % was not satisfactory. Many people didn't have a clue when they are trying to use the pool. Everyone walked to leasing office to inquire. 2 - The fans and lights in the Kitchen area beside Leasing office are not working. The chairs are bad and dirty. 3 - No social events now a days. There used to be many in the past. 4 - The Gym doesn't have the water. Earlier water dispenser was there. It's there now as well, but no water anytime. 5 - Too many mosquitoes, not sure any repellants are used.

The Greystar management is doing a great job. Preston View is a pleasant, friendly, and well managed community. Team members in the office are competent and always ready to be of assistance. The grounds are taken care of on a regular schedule and the maintenance crew are friendly and knowledgeable. Im enjoying living here.

Prestonview is a very beautiful community and the golfcourse adds beauty to it. I like the community with a few exceptions like roaches! Also I never had issues setting up paying rent online with the old management website. The new management's website is not user friendly and up to now I am not able to set up paying rent online.

1018 Takeaway Pl I like this community, location is convenient to get around town. Neighbors are being courteous, this year especially enjoy food trucks stopping by to try new cuisine, leasing consultants have been helpful, friendly and professional to answer maintenance request and making sure residents feel like home.

So first off Greg was amazing! Sorry for the late review. I have been here a month and I love it! It’s a great place. The application process was quick and easy and super fast response time. Greg let me annoy him for a solid two days with questions and video tours of any area I wanted to see. Not only that but he has been helpful still! He acts like every question or concern is important and doesn’t mind being bothered! Thank you so much. I had to find a place fast and he helped out anyway he could. Not only that but I will never forget the day I moved in he said “Welcome home” and I was just in tears it moved me so. So special Thank you Greg! Now, the apartment I have is a one bedroom. It’s great, spacious! Very nice high quality feel. Love my patio area and my fur babies love it too. It’s been very rainy this year and the last month. So it’s been muddy, but there is a lot of grass area which is great for play! Very friendly neighborhood, kids having fun all the time, very respectful area. Any issue I have run across have been quick response. It is very doggie friendly only thing I would add is more doggie oops stations, and an area to give them a bath after the rainy days(bc of the muddy areas) This is my first apartment experience so pretty positive so far. One more thing I might add is maybe a longer notice to maintenance repair days. Like 2-3 days heads up.

Overall I have been very happy with my stay at Prestonview. The apartments are in good condition and are pretty spacious compared to other apartments I’ve seen in this area. Some units come with additional storage which is a huge plus. The neighborhood itself is very quiet, safe and family friendly.

Living here for last 4 years. Decent community in this area. There are both pros and cons. Pros - 1) Great location. Very closed to RTP, Airport, Highway connectivity, Shopping centers. 2) Rent price is decent 3) Lease terms are flexible like 3, 6, 9 and 12 months etc.. 4) Friendly administration 5) Never faced issue with maintenance 6) Good amenities - Beautiful pools, Small children park, dog park, friendly neighborhood. Cons- 1) Roaches problem 2) Common areas can be more cleaner like staircase, lawn etc..

The positives: We love the location. It is quiet, close to the beautiful streets along the golf course, close to the park and the MAFC. The prices are also decent. The pool areas are beautiful. The negatives: The windows and screen balcony doors are poorly installed and do not allow you to open them without the fear of bugs. There are many high speed bumps along the property that could be lowered. The kitchens in the smaller apartments have very little counter space, and the sinks in the un-renovated apartments are small and shallow.

I have stayed at this apartment complex for about 6 years. The location is great. The apartments are however old. They are now trying to repaint them but I do not see any major interior changes. Maintenance was a big headache. They never respond to service requests even pre COVID times. Once I had to wait about 3 months to get the exhaust in the bathroom fixed. When I finally moved out they hit me with a ton of charges. They charged me more water and sewer fees for 7 days(compared to my avg monthly fees). They are also charging me a ton to replace the induction stove top which has regular wear and tear. So if you are moving in here dont go for an apartment with induction stove and if you do dont ever move out.

They got Roaches, it's disgusting. Everytime I come home, theres at least two of them either on kitche counter or on door. Not something you would expect renting in Morrisville, and the price they charge for these paper box apartments. Stay Away, bad deal here!

Prior to the tour, the leasing agents answered all questions in a friendly and timely manner (via email). The tour itself was pleasant, relaxed and stress free. The apartments themselves were beautiful, so it wasn't a hard choice to say "yes" to Preston View. The leasing process was fast and painless and within minutes we were approved. The community is immaculate and the amenities first rate. We can't wait to move in 9 weeks from now!

The maintenance sucks at this place. They are always understaffed. One maintenance issue takes over 3 weeks even after constant reminders. They always have issues with heating and cooling. I just don’t like living here !
Rachel in the leasing office is absolutely wonderful! She was exceptionally friendly and did an amazing job assisting me through the application process. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and easy to talk to. The apartment units themselves are beautiful--especially considering the price. Preston View is located in a quiet, upscale area that is close to plenty of shopping venues, grocery stores, and gas stations. I highly recommend this complex and applaud the welcoming staff.
