A true namesake community, this neighborhood is home to several medical facilities, including the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Property Ratings at Preston Peak
I have been living at Preston Peak for 10 years now. When the new property team took over three years ago, things changed for the better. It has been by far the best three years ever. All of the staff are kind, greet you with a smile, always there to assist in anyway, and take care of any needs whether be administrative, grounds related or maintenance. I feel like they are all extended family. I love it here and would recommend this property to friends, family, coworkers and even strangers. The neighbors are friendly, I feel safe and this is the place I call home. The property manager, Victoria, and all the remaining office staff, Monique, Liuva, Hayden and Gabrael always make me feel welcome and are there to answer any and all questions that I may have. The maintenance staff from the supervisor Justin, and all the rest of the staff, Sam, Mr. Hernandez, Blaze, Carlos, Josh, Vince, and Richard are always there at a moments notice to take care of all of my maintenance needs. Best property staff ever!!!! I would recommend Preston Peak as a great place to live.

The property is supported by a caring group of employees - Management and Office staff to the Maintenance staff. Amenities include: clubhouse, exercise room, two pools, tennis court, package lockers, assigned carport parking, and a dog "park". One of the features for which the property should be congratulated is scheduled clubhouse events. The events lead to improved "neighbor" relations similar to single-family living. Having been a resident for more than six years - and having witnessed positive changes from the Management, I have no plan to move.

I recently renewed my lease again, which will now make me be a resident here going on 10 years. This most recent staff and maintenance team since Greystar took over have been so incredible I wouldn’t change anything with any of the staff. They are all very helpful and make sure that has a resident. I am happy and taken care of. I love it here. I plan on staying here for many more years.

We moved out about a month ago due to a financial situation. But I can assure you Liuva is one of the best leasing professionals we have met. She brittens the room with her welcoming smile. As you enter the leasing office.There were times that she had a full house and she would say hello to everone coming in she would always say I am always multitasking and have to split myself in two and she did for sure.She helped us and it was great that she was billingual and was able to helo those that neede that extra help. The amenities are also grest nice pools and outside area as well. We can say she wore many hats in that office. We were sad to leave but if you ever need anywhere to live Preston Peak is where its at. Sure nothing is perfect but what property is. Great location.

Our issues are too long to type on here. We have already contact corporate and I am already talking with them. We have Ahmad multiple issues with the offices only, not the maintenance team. There have been issues with our apartment since we moved in that have only recently gotten fixed and only after corporate involvement and we are still resolving a parking issue as my boyfriend is handicapped and this was disclosed at move in and before signing my lease.

Moving here has been the biggest mistake of my life! No one ever answered phone or called me back, grounds are filthy and disgusting, 3rd party ESA is violating Hippa laws and not honoring my request to have my true ESA dog, office staff no help on the process I have yet to complete due to no help from the office as promised. Fireplace left full of ashes, apartment cleaned at last hours of moving in, furniture removed from my apartment left in the way on 2nd floor entering with my move, was informed was not going to ever get my left dirty baseboards cleaned. My experience has been an absolute and very depressing experience. Wish I could get out of my lease don't know if I will make it a whole year living in this ghetto.

I stopped by the office to place a request for a Maintenance issue I was having in my apartment, The Office staff asked me how they could they assist and proceeded to make a workorder request. At the same time one of the maintenance staff overheard my request and quickly stated that he was heading to that area and would take care of the issue ASAP! Now That Is Service!

So far, the living experience has been so wonderful for my boys and I. Our home is extremely nice and spacious! It’s fairly quiet as well. The staff are all so kind and helpful. Only concern I have is the trash on the second floor in my building. It always smells like a dead animal. And it gets a little embarrassing to have others come visit us at our new place.

The community is a good area there’s a lot close by restaurants,gas stations,etc it’s near the i10 highway.. Elementary school is near by literally behind the apartment complex… Good place to live!!

What I love about Preston peak is that it’s not like other cookie cutter apartments. It has its own unique character, they also have a walking trail, volleyball court, tennis court, and two pools. This is a really old property but it’s upkeep for how long it’s been around and not many properties can do that.

The staff refuses to enforce trash policies which lead to trash, food scraps, and general waste all over the property, especially in the cooridoors leading to individual apartments. Staff insits they will conduct projects to clean/maintain/improve the property, but most of the time these actions never come to fruition. Towing is a massive inconvienince for NO reason. Staff insists there is a parking problem, but there is plenty of parking for residents and visiors across the property. This fake issue costs residents and their guests hundreds of dollars in towing fees. The recycle and trash receptacles are a joke, usually overflowing with trash, glass debris, etc.

We do partner with Trash Butler to provide door to door trash pick up in an effort to make it easier for residents to have their trash removed. Some residents do not adhere to the policies that are put into place, but our team does pick up trash throughout the property every day. Towing is enforced on the property as every resident deserves the right to come home to their designated covered parking spot and park. . Every resident is informed of the policy at move in and it is up to the resident to inform their guests of the policies and offer their guest pass to them. Our team truly cares about each and every resident here and we truly work very hard every day to keep this property free of trash. This apartment complex has nice amenities throughout the property. The maintenance staff are helpful and courteous. Repairs are made on a timely basis. Each resident is allowed only one parking space. This makes it difficult for visitors to find parking on this property. Overall, this is a nice place to reside. The leasing team are so kind and helpful! Moving in was such an easy process and we love our new apartment! When you move in it’s not the cleanest but for the price and renovated units I think it’s worth it! Just have to do some deep cleaning.

My wife and I are about to move in here , I do service and I have my personal car , my wife and a service vehicle , I would have to check in my service vehicle in everyday due to they won’t accommodate a commercial vehicle I drive for work. I’m really not happy about that. Plus we have to resign multiple leases due to not going through , and adding a pet addendum… we also went on vacation and came back and instead of instructing us what we forgot/needed to complete everything she started to act a bit of an chip on her shoulder I quote “I did everything I’m able to do” Kinda feel indifferent about there policy , and some of the staff

Our community policy is that every lease holder has a parking spot, but we cannot accommodate additional vehicles beyond this. If we offered this for one resident, we would have to offer this to all residents and there would not be any parking available. We do offer the guest passes that you can utilize and we do disclose this at the time that you lease. On the lease paperwork if there are any changes, we do have to re run the lease to make sure that it reflects the correct information. We do apologize that this was an inconvenience, but these are legal and binding documents that have to be correct for both parties.
