Smoke alarm issue Renee came and decided I needed a new alarm. The old one was buzzing on and off for three hours -----"Low battery. She was so very nice and efficient.

Suds ! Early evening, there was a large gurgle sound, and then a strong sweet scent. It turned out somebody used a huge amount of detergent, and I got the back up in my apartment. Maintenance came and cleaned up the suds mess in my hallway and put on the fans as my carpet in the bedroom got a little wet as well. He made sure the floor was dry so that I didn’t take a bad fall on any wet surface. A notice was to be prepared for apartments in my nearby area up down and around to remind him not to overload on detergent. No other apartment was affected by the overflow. This was a new maintenance employee who was most courteous and helped as best he could to alleviate the problems.

Do not live at Prentiss Pointe Apartments or any properties owned by Paragon Properties! I had a hornet infestation INSIDE my apartment and couldn’t safely stay there for 5 weeks. The office didn’t do anything without me calling, emailing, and showing up consistently to remind them I was still finding and killing hornets every day. I probably killed around 75-100 inside my home. They didn’t offer any compensation or solutions until I pushed and threatened to get lawyers involved. Now I’ve been dealing with the regional manager of Paragon to come up with a solution and she has not answered my phone calls or said she would call me and wouldn’t follow through. I have lived here for almost 3 years and am extremely disappointed with the lack of empathy and loyalty. All they do is make TikToks all day. Don’t live here!

We are currently living here because of a house fire. These apartments are beautiful. The property is very pretty and well maintained. The units are spacious, quiet and they have their own laundry facilities in each unit. The location is great - very close to I-94 and Lake St. Claire's MetroPark. The office staff is friendly and easy to work with. Bridget is very helpful and friendly and returns calls quickly. The property manager, Heather, is also fantastic. We love that we can have our dogs here with us. We are very comfortable living here and highly recommend these apartments.

I recently sold my house and i am currently waiting to move into my new house i just purchased. I was looking for a short term lease and a community to call home. Having spent the last two months dealing with closing on my house and finding a new house obviously stress levels were reaching a new level. I reached out for information regarding Prentiss Pointe and i immediately received a call back from Bridget. Within minutes of talking to Bridget she was understanding of my needs and the urgency to find a place to call home and she assured me that she had me covered. I closed on my house and headed over to meet Bridget and see what the community had to offer. I arrived approximately 30 minutes before closing and Bridget made my day. Bridget took me around the community to show me what they had to offer, she took me through the apartment models and reviewed the options available to me with no concern that her day was ending and she should be heading home. Meeting Bridget and talking with her immediately made my stress of finding a place to call home vanish, within minutes of our conversation i was sure this was the place for me and i was looking forward to moving in to my new home. Although my time with Bridget will be on a short term level, if i did not already purchase a home i would be signing a lease for a long term. I truly enjoyed meeting Bridget she has a fabulous personality and makes the whole process of relocating your life a very simple stress free experience. I will definitely be sending all my friends, family, co-workers and my real estate agents clients looking for a great community and outstanding service to see Bridget. I went to look at these on a Saturday 5 minutes before they closed. Bridget not only agreed to stay late to show me them, but also showed me every perk, went over pricing and sat with us for well past closing. I applied that Saturday and Monday morning had my approval. I have asked her SO many questions almost everyday and she answered every one of them either when I called or emailed and answered them within 15 minutes via email. She got us on the floor we wanted and the area we wanted. Can’t wait to move in and enjoy everything there. AMAZING service from Bridget...she’s the best!!!!

I recently visited Prentiss Pointe just to rent out the clubhouse and I instantly bonded with Starr! Her professionalism and personality made me want to hold all of my events at Prentiss. Right when I met her she immediately gave off an amazing vibe and her bubbly personality made her even more easy to talk to. I have so many great things to say about Prentiss Pointe apartments. To start, from my initial inquiry the staff was very responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. I had a bit of an odd situation with an unknown move in date and they worked with me the entire time to make sure I landed in a perfect apartment. Starr and Jessie couldn't of been more helpful, they really made my transition painless and easy. There were no surprises or struggles, which I really appreciate. Move-in costs were low and they were very organized and efficient. I can't thank them enough for everything! The Apartment: I'm in love! The full size (super size) washer and dryer has been life changing. My view is beautiful, full of weeping willows. My apartment has been quite, I can barely hear my neighbors. I have met quite a few of my neighbors, and everyone has been so nice and welcoming. It seems like most of the residents have been there for 3-5 years, which is a good sign. They all describe their experience as "peaceful" and I can say so far my experience has been the same. I love coming home everyday. The pool is beautiful and I've had good experiences with that so far as well. I love the bike path and beach are right out my door. I really couldn't ask for anything more! I looked heavily in the Harrison Township area and found Prentiss Pointe to be the full package. The staff really was the icing on the cake and made this experience an excellent one. Rent keeps increasing, loud and inconsiderate neighbors fighting at all hours of the night, the pot is out of control (yet no one does a single thing about it), the list goes on. However the grounds are well kept, pool is constantly dirty (I wouldn't dare put a finger in it), maintenance staff is amazing although I couldn't say the same thing for all the staff members. This place is going down and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Put your money somewhere where you'll get its worth. Enough said.
My husband and I moved in three years ago. at first the office and its staff were really wonderful. Any problems we had, which were few and in between, were taken care off. but this past year we have had unsatisfactory experiences mainly with the staff. Our apartment was not locked back up on several occasions when doing city maintenance. coming home when its dark after work to my unit that was left open was very unnerving. In another case I told the staff they did not have permission to enter, seeing how they had a problem locking my door, to finish city repairs. that if they need to get in I would be happy to have someone let them in. I came home and my door was open again! I'm pregnant and happy that I wasn't home showering or thankful that I didn't have my baby yet and was breast feeding when someone walked in. Just recently there has been a car that has either been abandoned or is broken down that has not moved for almost a month now. My husband called to address the issue because it looks bad and it would free up a space for another tenant or even one of us. being pregnant and having to walk from another building because there is no spaces to get to my own building is frustrating let alone when you know there is a car that doesn't work in a spot for almost a month. He spoke to Jay who kept changing her story as to why she could not take care of the issue. accused him of attacking her, mind you he never raised his voice. he did on the other hand accuse her of giving him the run around changing her story. needless to say my husband let her know if she felt that he was attacking her that he didn't need to speak with her any longer and that he would like to speak to a manager. Now we are at the point where we are waiting to here back from someone. the apartments them selves are pretty nice its just a shame that lately Prentis Pointe does not have the office staff to match. Perhaps its due to laziness or the lack of knowledge when pertaining to customer service. I suppose I can give them the benefit of the doubt.
I love my apartment it is so quiet, my neighbors are great. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful.
This is a very nice place to live if you're in the right building. I have lived her for two years now. At first I was really happy with my choice, but now its just a decent place. I think that after you become a longer standing tenant you're not given the same attention. The apartments are spacious and they come with a full size washer and dryer. The maintenance teams come out quickly for repairs but are not always the friendliest people when it comes to doing their job. I've even had one yell at me before (I think my issue was an inconvenience). Prentiss Pointe is close to the beach and there is always something to do in Harrison Township!The grounds that are seen by traffic are well maintained but some of the grounds near the more wooded areas in the back need attention on most days but doesn't get any. The staff is friendly and they try to help you out whenever you need them. There is a monthly bingo incentive that could win you $50 off your monthly rent if you're the first one to bingo. I would recommend Prentiss Pointe but be prepare for large rent increases every year. I am in a one bedroom; my first year I paid $820, the second $855, and now I am at $875! For the money you pay, you don't want to be yelled at, and you don't want to see unkept grounds.
