love living in here been here for 3 years its calm environment and great service..
I have been living here for almost a year. it was good at first but over the past 3 month it's been getting real bad. my AC unit has messed up 2 times within a 3 month lapse. The first it messed up on a Thursday night; I called Friday morning they said they would fix it. they didn't go until Monday. The 2nd time it went out on Monday night, called Tuesday morning they said they would fix it & give me a temp window AC unit but never got and till this day my AC has been out for 2 wks!! I've been everyday about my AC & they say they will call me back & they never do; and I've called them about the ants too (since they offer monthly pest control, even though I haven't had pest control go in almost 3 months) and have tried everything possible to get rid of the ants. My apartment is filled with ants!! Everywhere, kitchen, bathroom, shower head, my bedroom closet! I have small blisters on my hand from all the things I've tried. I would not recommend this place, save your money and energy. Pick a different complex.
I have been living here for almost four years at first it was good but in this past 2 months the it’s a nightmare. There have been sending me letters of past dues every day, in which I always pay on time. So I call the office and talk 2 the manager, all they say it was not me , and the next day is the same. Trust me is not worth leaving here !!!!
My wife and I have lived here for more than 3 years and we are very happy to call it our home. It is a very comfortable and quiet complex with a lovely ambiance of surrounding nature, being next to a resaca and having its own pond with all the attendant wildlife, fish, birds, turtles, etc. we especially enjoy the many semi-tame and wild ducks who make the pond their home as well as the beautiful white garzas who frequently fly in for a meal. Posada has a great many conveniences such as swimming pools, basketball court, workout room, and clubhouse as well as excellent laundry facilities and ample parking. And while it is quiet and semi-secluded, it is very convenient for shopping and bus lines both of which are within short walking distance. And the rental fees here are very reasonable. The office and auxiliary staff are most considerate and accommodating, very courteous and efficient. And everyone is bilingual - se habla Ingles o Español??... The apartments are okay and staff is nice, but the parking has been horrible since they stopped using the car tag/parking permit system. You wont get a decent parking if you get home later than 7pm. I have to park on the opposite side of the complex multiple times a week.
The apartments go by a different name now, but when we lived here from 1975 to 1976, it was an excellent place even way back then. They were called The Embarcadaro Apartments at the time. Glad to see that they are still around, in good shape and still have a good staff. Lots of memories looking at the photos. By the way, we were in number 1401.
I’ve been living here for about 1year and half now and I love it! My favorite thing about living here is that their pet friendly. About the apartment itself I haven’t had major issues with my apartment but when i’ve had minor issues the staff is very attentive. The manager and staff are also very good about sending out notices whenever we need to be aware of something. They are very nice and respectful and truely care about us residents. I highly recommend living here!

I have lived at multiple rentals in the Brownsville area. The staff at posada are the friendliest and most professional. I have had multiple issues since i moved in over a year ago(none major or safety related). They responded immediately and ensured I was kept in the loop with the repair work that was going on. Friendly environment and beautiful property. I recommend.
