Im extremely disappointed with Cantamar. I moved into this apartment complex excited thinking I was moving in some where a lot nicer with my kids and unfortunately the customer service and the actual apartment itself is the worst place Ive ever lived in!

I have been moved in for about 3 weeks now and let me tell you from the moment I picked up my keys to now there has been nothing but nice things to say. Staff is very friendly and has been so helpful. I have a wasp nest outside of my door and they took care of this immediately with no questions. It has just been very nice to come into a community that cares and is respectful!

Having been a resident since 2012 I always was proud to recommend Cantamar. Since the pandemic it has steadily gone downhill. The office has been difficult to contact the maintenance has gone drastically downhill. The positive side is that the apartments are large and very reasonable. Location is great.

Everything is top notch. The leasing office staff are top notch. So personable and helpful. Maintenance here is quick and accurate. The grounds are always kept clean. My son and I have resided at Cantamar for a little over 1 year. We are very happy here. We are comfortable with the size of our two bedroom apartment, the grounds are beautiful and the staff has been great. When the property manager retired and the maintenance staff changed I was worried that the level of customer service would decline. The change was seamless. All my interactions with the office are very positive. And the maintenance team is great. I will definitely continue to recommend this property.

Cantamar is a great place to live if u have the right neighbors, the apartments are very spacious and I love all the natural sunlight, the insides are old and need updating but other than that I have enjoyed my experience overall.

the actual complex is nice. But the property management company is international owned and often lack communication from management to actual property employees. They add fees without notice and also we pay for our own electricity in our individual apartments. But also pay 20 dollars for the apartments electricity a month on our water sewage trash utilities. Which I find absurd. If they had a better property management company I would recommend this complex to anyone renting. And rate it a 10. But until then, it will recieve the score the management company has.

Peaceful living
I have just signed my 3rd year lease. This complex is a great place to live. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. The residents are friendly and look out for each other. The pool is always clean and sparkling. The common areas are well maintained. The apartments have a lot of living space. Close to grocery store (Fry's) and other restaurants. Close to public transportation. Maintenance is always available for your needs.
When I moved into this complex 3 years ago everything was very nice. The apartment is large with plenty of closets and storage space. The carpet wasn't new but still decent. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was well maintained. Now, I'm still happy with the apartment itself but the landscape has gone drastically downhill. The trees have become so overgrown that 6 have come down. There are two that will fall in the next major storm, one will damage cars. The palm trees around the pool are extremely overgrown. Where you had lush lawn it is now mainly burned out spots with large areas of weeds. The management is good and maintenence has been great. Although now with only 1 person attempting to do the job of two things are slipping, the grounds are not being picked up and trash is accumulating. They now need 2 people full time and not just a temp occasion to pick up trash.
We have lived in cantamar a little over a year and it is the best complex we have ever lived in! The maintenance staff is amazing! They always do a great job getting things fixed as quickly as possible and are so nice. The office Staff are so great too! Super friendly and do great answering questions and resolving any issues. It's a pretty quiet complex. Very rarely do you ever even see a police officer even drive through.
