Jensen Beach is the perfect city on the water. Great waterfront restaurants can be found on Indian River Drive and Jensen Beach Blvd. Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House is a must-try restaurant on the southeast end of Jensen Beach. This charming café hangs over the river’s edge.
Part of Savannas Preserve State Park is within Jensen Beach. On the preserve, make sure you visit Hawk’s Bluff Trail to canoe, kayak, fish, and hike. Right on the water is Indian Riverside Park, fully equipped with walking trails, mangrove boardwalk, fishing pier and gardens, and beautiful water views. The best place in town for beach volleyball is a little inland at Martin County Parks.
The main public beach for Jensen Beach is on Hutchinson Island. After you find your apartment in Jensen Beach, take a trip over to Jensen Sea Turtle Beach and spend the day sunbathing by the water.

Property Ratings at Portofino at Jensen Beach
When I moved in over a year ago, staff were somewhat responsive. Now, it takes up to and over a week to get someone out. At one point, my A/C was out for four days. No one answers the emergency maintenance line. If you have an issue over the weekend, expect no response whatsoever. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if the apartments weren't so outdated underneath their glossy surface.
The pool area is big and really pretty. The location is great for shopping, food and hitting the beach! Apartments are spacious. Thankfully the trash compactor is hidden and made to look nice!! Staff are nice and very helpful. I enjoy living here.

Portofino Condos at Jensen Beach are truly one of a kind. The complex is rich in vibrant vegetation and has a stunning array of wildflowers to accentuate the Spanish styled living quarters. The condo's are exceptionally spacious, and equipped with up-to-date appliances. The amenities included are a steal, free access to the gym and outstanding swimming pool. The swimming pool area is decorated to soothe and comfort individuals of all ages; not to mention the pool area resembles a high class resort pool area, lush and colorful vegetation surrounds the pool area. Adjacent to the pool area is a large lake that most condo's have an exceptional view of.
Great community and staff!!! Very close to school and stores.
