The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Pointe At Wimbledon
I have lived in this apartment for a little under four months and Ive hated it ever since. I was told I could not look at my apartment before moving in and Ive regretted agreeing to sign ever since. From stained carpets, horrible floor remodeling, and just plain laziness from the property manager and maintenance when it comes to getting the apartment ready. As far as the floor, maintenance told me in lack of better words it would be too much to try to fix the floor. There is a whole spot of the old laminate tiles under the dishwasher that is obvious and horrendous to look at. I ended up having to buy a rug to cover it. The carpet has a spot that I assumed was something they couldnt remove hence why it was there. All it took was a paper towel and water to get most of it up. So as far as them shampooing the carpet, out the window. Already having to apartment hunt after just living here for 4 months is sad. I can’t wait to move.
Management is quick with fixing issues but everything from thin walls, water bugs outside your door, wasps/ bees, several water leaks, dog poop, trash outside everywhere, whole apartment shakes when people walks on the steps & the dog park is a small fenced area with sticks and sand (see for yourself). Great for a first apartment but definitely not long term. Rent increases $20 each renewal
My roommate and I moved in about 3 weeks ago and if I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would. First and foremost, the touring and application process was a BREEZE!! Kayla and Toni are AMAZING. They answered any and all questions about the apartments and complex. They laid everything out which helped our decision of which floor plan to choose. They worked around both of our work schedules when it came time to sign the lease and they walked through the apartment with us as soon as we got the keys. I loved this because if there is any minor things that come to your attention, they are right there to fix it. We have a 2 bed 2 bath large and the apartment is super spacious and tons of storage. The rooms and bathrooms are very large as well. The complex is kept up very nice and is always clean. The complex provides pest control every Wednesday and they will come and spray your apartment upon request which is super great for us because we have 2 dogs and stay on the first floor. We haven't had any problems with bugs but it's nice to have peace of mind. I can't express how much I enjoy living here and how great my experience has been so far. I look forward to calling the Pointe at Wimbledon my home for the foreseeable future.
Property Manager at Pointe At Wimbledon, Responded To This Review
Welcome to your new home at Pointe At Wimbledon! We're thrilled that your living experience has been so positive, as we seek to provide our residents with the very best in apartment living every single day. Thank you for your residency, your five-star rating, and for taking a moment to review us!
DO NOT move here if you are a college student/young person. The neighbors are all rude and inconsiderate. You will get reported for literally ANYTHING. It’s like having to walk on eggshells in your own home. I just moved in a month ago and am already trying to get out of my lease. They claim to be pet friendly but god forbid your dogs make any sort of noise at all. Also they are way too strict with too many rules that really don’t make a lot of sense, unless you’re old or don’t have anything to do but sit in your apartment and complain about others.
My significant other and I have been residents of the Pointe of Wimbledon since Summer 2017. Having moved from out of state, we didn’t know what to expect in Greenville, NC. The Pointe of Wimbledon has allowed for a smooth transition and an extremely welcoming environment. There are many advantages that this apartment neighborhood has over other apartment complexes in the area. First, there is an on-site office that is staffed six days a week. This makes things very convenient when you have to put in a maintenance request, pay rent, or have any other inquiries. This also makes us feel safe. The office staff is very friendly and makes sure that you are taken care of. Additionally, the maintenance team is hard-working and diligent. They typically respond and complete maintenance requests within one day (often times it is faster than this) and they leave a note letting you know when they entered your apartment. Furthermore, each apartment has one assigned parking spot under roofing. This helps protect your car! There is also plenty of space throughout the uncovered parking lot for additional cars and any guests. The parking situation here is stress-free. The Pointe at Wimbledon also has a small gym with cardio and weight equipment if you are wanting to get in a workout without driving to the gym. There is an on-site laundry facility where you can do your laundry while you wait by the pool area. Notably, the Pointe has two pools—including one that is heated. This apartment complex is pet-friendly and there is a small off-leash dog area where you can let your dog play. The Pointe provides doggy bags to pick up after your pet as well. I think living here is a great choice, considering it is the perfect distance away from ECU and other main Greenville areas. It is quiet, peaceful, convenient, and most importantly, safe.
I have been a resident at the Pointe at Wimbledon since this past July and I have truly loved living here! Being a student at ECU, I took a bit of a chance with this complex being farther from many of the student housing complexes. However, I am so glad that I took the chance on this place because it has been wonderful! The quality of the apartments are amazing. Everything has a nice appearance and is appealing to decorate around. The neighborhood is very safe, friendly, and welcoming. I have met several friendly people here and the kinds of people who live here range from college students to adults of all ages. Maintenance requests do not take long at all to be fulfilled and the office is usually very good about getting back to you about maintenance. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. They are pet-friendly too, which is awesome! Noise has not been a problem at all and it has been a nice, peaceful place to live in my time here so far. I would definitely recommend living at the Pointe at Wimbledon!
I lived at the Pointe for about a year and a half and I had a great experience. Overall the community is pretty quiet and relaxed. My neighbors were awesome, the office staff was friendly, and maintenance was very polite when entering my apartment to complete service requests. I would definitely recommend the Pointe to incoming professionals.
They jack your rent up anywhere from 25 to 50 dollars when you renew your lease. Amenities are a sham, pool dirty, one table in pool area for all residents in back have continually asked for tables, lighting in back area is dark they do not fix it. This place stinks.
I moved in 4 months ago (May 2017), and I absolutely love it so far. It's nice and quiet, and the features here are great. The two pools and the hot tub are amazing features. They allow pets, and my dog loves the dog park in the complex. I have a one bedroom apartment and it's fantastic - spacious, modern-looking and everything was in great condition when I moved in. The staff in the office and the maintenance staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The location is superb, very close to everything, less than a 15-minute drive to almost any place in Greenville and there are two grocery stores across the street. Despite it being so central however it still feels very private and somewhat secluded which is great if you want to live in the city but you don't necesarily want to feel like it.
This place has everything you could ever want in an apartment. I love the covered carports, & security system in each unit. Nice gym, friendly staff, pet friendly, and quick to help maintenance. Great location, everything is a short bike ride's distance away.
The amenities here are great. Security alarms in every unit, makes me feel comfortable. I'm able to grow flowers and fresh herbs off my porch. The maintenance crew is stellar. They allow pets, & the landscaping is beautiful. Best location in Greenville. Everything you need is a nice bike ride's distance.
Nice quiet apartment community with two pools and nice weightroom. Located very close to shopping and grocery stores.
NEGATIVE - dog feces everywhere; loud, noisy, inconsiderate neighbors; management does not care about your complaints; NO onsite mgmt. or maintenance staff, courtesy officer - no phone number or address. POSITIVE - nice size apts, allows large size dogs, friendly maintenance staff.
