The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. Property Ratings at Plum Tree
I truly loved my experience at Plum Tree Apartments. I lived there for over three years when I moved to Claremont for grad school and would still be living there today if I could. The manager, Julie, was probably the best landlord I’ve ever dealt with in my 20-plus year of renting history. She has been with the company for an impressive 30 years which reflects a deep commitment to both her work and the well-being of Plum Tree’s residents. Julie’s fairness, professionalism, and dedication to resident satisfaction set the tone for a positive experience and made my stay there truly enjoyable and stress-free. The deposit was minimal and Julie’s transparent approach and commitment to fairness were evident when, upon moving out, no charges were applied as long as I made a reasonable effort to clean the apartment well. The maintenance crew, led by Ernesto, was very professional and efficient and handled service requests quickly and effectively, getting the job done right the first time. During the challenges of COVID, Ernesto and the crew maintained rigorous cleanliness standards for public safety, even installing sanitizer stations around the complex. My unit, complete with updated features like gorgeous quartz countertops, a stylish backsplash, soft-close cabinets, modern stainless-steel appliances including a glass-top stove, and in-unit washer and dryer made for an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable living environment. The grounds were impeccably maintained and residents are friendly and respectful; I never encountered loud parties till late hours or similar disturbances. I could truly call my neighbors my friends – which is very rare today. Of course, no apartment is without its drawbacks. My apartment faced Bonita, a busy street, yet the absence of obstructing buildings offered a breathtaking view of tall pines and Mt. Baldy in the distance. The proximity of the fire and police stations did lead to occasional sirens, but soundproof windows minimized the disturbance when closed. While the wall-mounted A/C unit was a bit loud, it served its purpose in keeping the unit cool. But these are minor trade-offs in the grand scheme of apartment rentals. Overall, I would highly recommend Plum Tree Apartment and would consider moving there again should circumstances bring me back to Claremont. The professionalism of the management and crew, aesthetic appeal, friendliness of the community, and location to the town center made it a great place to call home.
