This place has a major plumbing problem. The water is shut off on a regular basis due to “emergencies.” We have had no water three times recently. Live here if you can deal with not being able to take a shower when you need to.

walls are paper thin and management does literally nothing when neighbors make excessive noise. Our upstairs neighbor has woken up our sleeping baby oin the middle of the night constantly over the last year several times. We went though all of the appropriate channels to deal with this civilly but management makes absolutely no concessions. We are far from the only family to deal this kind of issue, our other friend's neighbor plays metal at 3 in the morning and management takes no concrete or definitive action or make any attempts at reasonable accommodation. We asked for a lateral transfer to a different unit and they're solution was making us sign an entirely new lease. If you like this place for the prospect of safety well no luck there, break ins are routine, gates are very typically broken and garages are available to anyone throughout the night. The women's sauna has been broken for the entire time we've lived there. -lori specifically will smile in your face, tell you to come to her with any issues and then actively ignore and send other workers you way. For the price go live somewhere else.

I moved to The Plaza last year and I have been loving it the amenities are amazing the neighbors are very friendly and the staff is very friendly as well the only downside is of course it is on the expensive side but it is definitely worth every penny would highly recommend!
This review is from my personal experience with the property. I moved into The Plaza at Sherman Oaks in March 2020. I looked at dozens of other places and settled on a unit right on Woodman Ave. I felt a little rushed in my decision, but it ticked most of the boxes I was looking to fill. All apartment living has its concessions, but this place was on another level. I could never recommend this place to anyone. The property is rather filthy. Many residents leave their leaky trash bags outside their doors, which is a fire hazard not to mention disgusting. Another big problem was people not cleaning up after their pets in the hallways on the carpets or even in the elevators. *Warning* The noise from the traffic on Woodman Ave is defining and at all hours of the day. If you absolutely must rent here try to get a unit further away from the streets if one is available. Especially if you want to enjoy your patio or balcony. The only semi-okay part about the property was the Stockwell vending service and the Parcel Pending lockers.
My sister recently moved across the country for school. Sherry was wonderful on our visit showing us the property and potential apartments! Sherry helped us find the best one that suited all of my sister’s needs. Sherry got all of the paperwork together and made a cross country move go very smoothly! If you are moving out to LA or looking for a nice place to live in The Sherman Oaks area of LA definitely call Sherry at The Plaza at Sherman Oaks for an appointment! The grounds are well kept, the gym is a wonderful perk, and the pool is wonderful to cool off in! Thank you Sherry and other Plaza staff for everything!
I love my apartment and love my location even more, but I just got married and we need an affordable 2 bed 2 bath with 2 parking spots.
Though it seems a little overly expensive for the amount of space you're given, (the biggest one bedroom available being just over 500 sqft) leaving here can be quite entertaining with easy access to the pool, recreational area, and gym it feels like you're staying t a hotel year round. My favorite part is the location itself, you feel as if you're right at the heart of Sherman oaks, nestled in next the adorable community schools, the west field fashion square, and the newly remodeled Ralph's, you really have all you could need just around the corner.
The renovated studio at the Plaza is a cozy little place. It looks good with the updates: quartz counter tops, new flooring, new appliances (although cheaper appliances and linoleum flooring). They have gated underground parking which is nice, laundry on site, pool and small gym. They allow dogs which is great being a dog owner and have a great courtyard for your furry friend.
The Plaza at Sherman Oaks has been deemed by a lot of my friends as a resort, we normally have our get-togethers here, the staff is awesome, they are all so helpful, I probably know every security guard, the clerks and the housekeepers, I love it here, is a wonderful place to be a bachelor, to be married, even to raise your kids, it has a great dog park, you can have a lot of fun and exercise in the basketball court or the tennis court and the gym, if you want to have movie night it also has a movie theater you can reserve, and a wonderful pool surrounded by grills when summer comes
