READ THE REVIEWS. NOT A 5!

I've been here for over 3 years. I actually kept my apartment while deployed. The apartments have nice size closets. That was a major plus. There is assigned parking and if available, you can rent an additional one. Unfortunately, my second year I didn't really get that. It sucks trying to find street parking at night. So, here's my main issue. Pinnacle does not see a lock out as an emergency. The maintenence after hours did not answer nor did security. I called the emergency numbers from the website, the security office was disconnected. I was locked out for about 3 hours. From almost 9 PM to 12AM. I called 10 different lock smiths. It cost around 135. I didn't get the lock replaced since I only got locked out of one lock. The dead bolt was fine. When I talked to the complex, I was told I called the wrong number. I sent screen shots of over 50 calls. (The numbers they said I should've called are on there. Plus, when you call Pinnacle, it's a touch tone option for after hours courtesy patrol). Then I was told it wasn't an emergency. Is it in the lease what constitutes an emergency? I got an "I'll get back to you," I told them my lock was still damaged and I needed it replaced. I was told of course, we'll get our maintenence men to look at it. This was August 3. It's August 7th and they still haven't gotten back to me, will not refund me, And still have not replaced my door knob. With pet owners leaving poop around the property and not picking it up, trash falling out of the trash can, noise issues that they don't get involved with and THIS ( A single female locked out at night for hours) (a broken lock for multiple days) not an emergency or even a concern, I will NOT recommend or renew my lease for a 4th year. I wish I would've moved before I deployed.

Horrible

The service team are nice however the noise here is so loud. We have a kid and anything wakes her up we had a neighbor blast there music til about 12 we called service to do something about it but nothing was ever done. Look I get noise I have a two year old but when it’s a work night You expect people to be respectful or at least management do something about it. And also, I have a neighbor that came to my door when my daughter and I weren’t doing anything come and tell us the they hear everything upstairs and that they got an apartment downstairs because they had a 4 yr old. Like what do you want me to do? We weren’t making noise even if we were she’s two, she doesn’t pay my bills she has no right to come to my door during the day to demand silence. 100% do not recommend , people here are rude and you hear everything from the other apartments.

incompetence at its finest

This has been the most incompetent team I have dealt with. They are horrible at communicating what is needed to accomplish different goals. Instead of taking responsibility for errors on their behalf, they are cold and uncaring to residents’ valid requests. Not worth it for all the money spent in rent.

Bad Management

We had neighbors that smoked weed upstairs and the leasing office chose to do nothing. We have a 3 year old and the smell kept coming down our vents but they did not care. Also, we called the police on the neighbors various times due to domestic violence disputes. Once again, nothing was done to accommodate. In regards to pets, there poop everywhere and people do not pick up after their pets. Lots of barking going around.

Pinnacle at otay

Rent is high but the amenities are nice. When ever I need something fixed it happens fast with not a lot of fuss. The pool is really nice and the kids have fun. It's animal and kid friendly. The pool is never that busy which is nice. There is usually pretty good parking. It's near a park and plenty of restaurants that you can walk to

Not Good

Pinnacle Apartment in Chula Vista Ca 91913. They are nice to you when they show you the place and tells you great stuff about it. Once you become a resident, they don't care. This is not just me and my family. The people here that lived before us. We paying $1900.00 a month for 2 bedroom. The people at the office, they not fair about the parking. When you request service, they take to long and when you call the office they won't call you back. It's basically take care of the problem yourself. We haven't lived here more than a year and we already have problems, like ants crawling in the front door, so I had to take care of it my self. When we first tried renting here, Michelle, which everyone doesn't like, we never even saw our place before we can move in. Michelle said it's not ready. What place that can show you where you going to live in. People move in and out of here because of the staff and the rent goes high after one year. Even the military people that lives here, say the same stuff. That's why alot of the people here just move out.

Amazing atmosphere

The perfect apartments right on the side of everything. From a town center right across the street and the freeway just moments away. The grounds are well maintained and the staff works beyond their means to make sure residents are taken care of. A lot of open grass area for picnics and to enjoy the sunshine along with 2 swimming pools. Perfect family apartments.

RECONCILE AND DOMECILE

GREAT SPACE, QUIET AND CLEAN, NICE STAFF, POOL AND FITNESS CENTER, KITCHEN AND BATH OUTDATED. POOL IS LOCATED IN A LARGE COURTYARD COMPLETE WITH JACUZZI AND COMMON GAS GRILL. EVERY UNIT COMPLETE WITH GARAGE, COVERED PARKING AVAILABLE.
