Pinewood at National Hills Apartments

Wanted to inquire about a specific floor plan and I called the office. I didn’t even get to speak to anyone before they hung up on me. Bad sign. Decided to stay away.

I think overall the place is great. Apartments usually have all appliances including microwave and maintenance is pretty responsive and act fast especially if it’s emergency. The place is also safe. I think the main downside is that the lobby is open for only certain periods which usually doesn’t involve weekends, so if you ever have any guests and need some space, you won’t be able to find that here.

The property manager and leasing consultant are GREAT! Super knowledgeable and friendly! Also, the maintenance staff are timely when it comes to getting maintenance request done! I definitely recommend Pinewood. Not to mention the location is perfect!

Staff is always nice and helpful Anytime I have a question they are willing to help with no hesitation.

The options between classic and renovated units are stellar. They offer plenty of shopping around the area with some great restaurants. The on-site team are very helpful and knowledgeable about the property.

In terms of quality you are getting what you pay for. I was in a 3 bedroom apartment with pinewood for 2 years and we had a ROUGH start, that landlord has since left and we under new management there has been a drastic change in scenery & upkeep! Jennifer has done an amazing job with communicating with her community, doing more for her residents & overall helping pinewood. I will say I’ve been just “okay” with my stay here during pinewood but it’s mainly because of affordability, not so much the apartments themselves that make me stay.

The staff is very welcoming and responsive. Work orders are addressed promptly by maintenance and the office staff is quick to respond and help with questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

The apartments here have nice upgraded finishes that I am used to at a higher priced luxury apartment that I moved from. Staff is super friendly and any maintenance I have requested has visited the same day. Go see Jenn and Josh at Pinewood!

This property looks completely different from when I first visited a couple years ago! They def made some changes and the community looks great!

I am very happy I decided to rent here. The apartment is a nice size and has a good layout. The rent is comparable, and even cheaper than some smaller units I toured at other places. The process from application to lease ran fairly smoothly. Dakota is a rockstar. I enjoyed her friendly, demeanor and knowledgeable professionalism. I had a few hiccups once I got into the apartment, but the staff has been quick to resolve them. I greatly appreciate that.

I stayed over there when it was Center West Villas (I think that’s the old name) and I wish I would have remained right there because I loved living in this complex!

I wasn’t expecting the property be so quiet with it being near Washington RD but i was definitely wrong. The property is also clean and well maintained.

I absolutely love my apartment. Maintenance and staff are super friendly especially when you have an issue maintenance gets it fixed quickly.

I moved to Georgia due to PCSing and the staff made the transition super easy. Any question I had someone was there with a solution. I would recommended the community who are looking for a new home

This place ONLY cares if you have good credit. I have average and increasing credit due to a divorce, loss of income, and putting myself through school after separation from the military. I exceeded the income requirements, have a perfect renters history, and I was declined. They weren’t going to call me and tell me, I had to call. Then I wrote an email and explained everything, ignored. I called and asked for the manager and they said she’s in meeting (doubt it) and that she’d call back. Never did. I called later and left a voicemail, no call back. I called three times after that and no answer. So they basically got $200 out of me and now want nothing to do with me. Before they did the application, oh yeah, they were all nice and kind, you know the typical salesman, and paying attention to my concerns. I explained how I am a veteran that had a difficult transition home and that this was the perfect location as it’s right near my twin brother (currently serving) and my family and in the neighborhood my wife and I both want to be in. Nothing. Ignored. Whatever happened to common decency, respect, and compassion? Is everything just money driven anymore? Where’s the humanity in people? Well, I can tell you it’s not here.

I live here and the manager are so disrespectful she talks about people behind they back ,maintenance people don’t fix your apartment right I have mold in my apartment and you know what they did came sprayed paint on half of it and that ain’t right at all ......I been here 5 years and never had a problem til these last 2 years when the new manager took over and it’s pitiful that you pay all this money to live uncomfortably......when you tell her something have her to write it down give you a copy cause she will lie like she didn’t say it ......I have pictures of before and after the maintenance people came in and painted half of the mold and left some mold in here

The apartments are a nice size and clean. Located really close to restaurants and shopping. Plenty of parking available. The only issue is there are no security cameras in parking lot areas and I have had two incidents involving my car.
