Property Ratings at Pine25 North End
I can only speak to the carriage homes but these units are so incredibly loud. I could hear neighbors on every side that had a neighbor and, despite being on the 3rd floor, every single car that passed by on w 24th st. There is a truck route down this road so if you rent one of these units be prepared to be woken up at 2am by dump trucks and 18 wheelers. This was a common sentiment among neighbors as well and as I was moving out another tenant was as well and we both commented about how we can finally sleep. Not only this, the walk ups are incredibly dirty. I had mold, and not just a little bit, in my walk up for the last 8 months of my lease and despite repeated emails nothing was done. Due to the open air walk up the bug issue is a constant battle regardless of how clean you keep your space, they will find a way. Additionally, the water turned brown multiple times, likely due to nearby construction, and management did not feel it was necessary to tell tenants unless asked, which I had to do multiple times. Personally I’d give management a 3/5 as they are friendly but not very helpful. Ordering packages here is AWFUL. I lost more packages than I got delivered, even with extremely detailed instructions they would either be stolen, placed in a different building and never found, or just rejected as the shipping companies couldn’t figure out their terrible system, luckily I had friends nearby at a different complex that I could ship items to and pick up from them, if you do not have that option I would recommend having parcels held for pickup. The only option for Internet here is AT&T, which really isn’t an issue but seems pertinent. Now for the good - The units are spacious and most likely the best bang for your buck in terms of square foot/dollar in the area. The lighting is fantastic as there are windows on both sides of the unit. Maintenance was always quick when management wanted to fix something (the mold is the only thing that really never got dealt with). Plenty of parking. Within a short drive of most of Charlotte.
I’ve lived in the townhomes at this complex for the past two years and overall had a good experience. Maintenance requests were always handled quickly, landscaping was consistently maintained, and trash was picked up on schedule. Bug issues were minimal, and communication with the leasing office has always been clear and helpful. I also appreciated the regular police patrols, which helped add a sense of security. The location is a big plus—being right next to Camp North End is one of my favorite things about living here. There are always events happening, great restaurants to try, and the whole area is growing rapidly with new development and opportunities. That said, the area can get loud at times due to the nearby helicopter pad and frequent car meetups down the street. I’ve also heard gunshots at night occasionally, which was unsettling. However, I often took walks around the neighborhood during the day and never felt unsafe. There aren’t many sidewalks, so long walks aren’t ideal, but for short strolls, it was fine. One recommendation I’d make is to add a dog park. There are so many dogs in the neighborhood, and it would be a great addition for residents. I’m not a fan of the new rent payment system introduced by new management—it’s more confusing than the previous setup. While I’m moving out due to rising rent prices that no longer match the value offered, I really did enjoy living here and would still recommend this community to others looking for a safe, well-maintained, and growing area to call home.

When I originally moved in the area seemed pretty decent, it had the best value for a studio that I could find. The last few months have been pretty bad. My car has been broken into twice, needing towed and repaired both times. The first time my car was broken into the gate to the parking lot had been broken and stuck open for at least a month. It was magically repaired after the break ins at the complex. Break in two happened almost exactly one month later after the gate was repaired and the complex claimed to have hired security, which was apparently taking the night off. The complex did nothing but offer a cheaper garage. I was out $1000 in deductibles and they wanted me to pay MORE money to the so my car would be safe. There are unhoused people that wander the neighborhood that you kind of have to watch out for, they are usually pretty passive but can occasionally get aggressive.

We are only a few weeks into living at Pine25 and so far we are really enjoying it. I frequently use the gym and have been happy with my experiences so far. I like that to have access to different parts of the property you have to have a code, a key fob, or access through the app so that people who do not live in the community don’t have access. I also love the size of our apartment as well as the appliances. The people in the leasing office have been really helpful too.

This complex has been great so far in regard to location, cleanliness, security, and overall community. Communication of floor plans could definitely get better between management and future residents, but that is my only complaint! The complex is very new, therefore everything is modern and clean. Five minutes from uptown, 18 minutes from my job. Camp North End across the street. Great atmosphere and again, location. Price is manageable given the complex's location and amenities.

3 months ago I love the location however the walls are super thin. I can hear my neighbor downstairs laugh. I can also hear not the neighbor below me, but the neighbor next to them downstairs, I always hear their dog barking past midnight. I know it’s early to say but I don’t plan on renewing my lease..too loud
Recently visited Pine25 and everyone was very helpful and communicated effectively. They were very patience with my many questions. Nice new property with beautiful amenities.
