The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Pine Lake Terrace
I will say these are nice size apartments with two master bedrooms. The kitchens do not have much cupboard space and there is no pantry. The washers and dryers are often broke and don’t work. It can be difficult to wash as there is only a handful of washer and dryers for all those units. Some of the units are roach infested, beware. The manager is a rare site, you may not see her for days. There is parking in the carports under the apartments, these apartments are notorious for plumbing issues and leaks that go into the carports. Watch your cars in the carports as I have seen the car ports roofs come down on cars in the carports, no less than 5 times, damaging cars that are parked there.
Love the community here. Very quiet and very dog friendly! The complex is beautiful and very clean. I have lived her for almost 3 years, and really enjoyed it. The current management is great, always polite and very helpful. I highly recommend this complex.
We were in a rush moving back to Cali from Kansas, and we found this place. Alejandra, the manager was so helpful. She was on top of everything to make sure that we had a seamless move-In. The experience was such a pleasure. The apartment itself was worth every penny. It is quite, nice and the best thing is that it has central air, which I can’t live without. :). Maintenance was on time and quick. Mike is the man. I would definitely recommend my friends and relatives for this place.
Just moved in to this apartment building and am so happy that we chose to live here... our unit is extremely nice and spacious with a walk in closet and a great big balcony, grounds are very well maintained and the complex is gated and safe (this was a big concern for me when searching for a place because my father is elderly and his safety is of utmost importance to me). A grocery store, restaurants, Wal-Mart, the outlets at Orange, Disneyland, freeways and schools are all nearby. Maintenance and management are very friendly and quickly respond to any issues you might have. Alejandra, the manager, made the application process as painless as possible, was very helpful and patient with me, answered all of the questions that I had and explained everything that I needed to know... since we moved in she has quickly taken care of the minor things that needed to be done in the apartment and Michael in maintenance is such a nice guy and always hard at work. In fact, Alejandra and Michael are reason #1 on the list of reasons why I wanted to live here... they are why an already very good place to live is even better. The building is pet friendly, has a playground for kids, clean pool and laundry room, a gym and a very nice community room that you can rent out for gatherings. Like I said, my father and I are very happy here and I have already recommended it to others.
These are great apartments in a great safe area. close to everything from grocery stores, restraunts, the mall, gym, freeway and schools. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but they have been well renovated and the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to any issues. Alejandra, the manager is always available and goes above and beyond to address any problems that may arise with the apartment no matter how minor they might be as long as you communicate it to her. It is super pet friendly and the grounds are well maintained. They have a playground for the kids, bbq grills, a spacious laundry room, a fitness center and a very nice community room to host large groups. My wife and I have loved our time here so far and will recommend it to others.
Parking is horrible, we get one assigned parking spot however nothing else is available after 7pm. I had to park around the corner several times. We are paying extra for a spot we can sometimes can’t use because people are in it. People have 3 to 4 cars in the complex with out the proper sticker and nothing has been done about it. My dog was attacked by another dog that was not on a leash. Rooms are nice and big.
Night and day difference of where I was living. Crystal is amazing so far! When I moved in July 2013, everything went really well. Obviously, there were problems as nothing can ever be perfect, but things were more than manageable. One major thing that drew me to this place was the fact that i could set up an automatic EFT online to pay our rent and utilities at the beginning of every month. Whenever we had issues, we could trust that the management would handle it in a timely manner. Great pet policy! It is also very closed to ralphs, walgreens ,gas statioins cvs and major resturaunts like joes crab shack outbacksteak house and more plus movie theatres, and roscoes chicken waffles is one block next to it mmmm yuum...
Just as recently as 6 months ago PLT was meticulously maintained, repairs were well done and done promptly and the staff was available for more than four hours per week. Since WestStar Properties bought PLT they have managed to bring this place to an all time low. Car thefts and vandalism are now at an all time high. There isn't any type of security in place and for the for the first time ever we are fearful of our safety and that of our personal belongings. The pool area is in derelict condition and most recently the pool was shut down for a few days by the Dept of Health for gross neligence in it's care and upkeep. The once beautiful streams and lake on the property is now so dirty and murky the poor koi living in that filth can hardly be seen. But! If you are moving here because of the tranquility of water and many fountains DON'T! WestStar is planning on filling in the streams and lake by 2016 or sometime during that year. WHY? Because the slum-lord like owners don't like the water! Every resident that I have spoken to in regards to the water on the property all claimed that the once beautiful water and fountains were some of the MAIN REASONS for choosing PLT as their home. Now they are all disgusted with how poorly the place we call home looks and the substandard conditions that we are now subjected to dealing with. Interestingly enough, after the pool was closed, snide remarks were made to some tenants while others were questioned about who made a complaint to the authorities regarding the state of the cess poll i.e. swimming pool. That type of hostile behavior makes for very uncomfortable living conditions. If these things are what you want to pay for while living at Pine Lake Terrace, then this is the place for you. If you are expecting much more from the place you call home, RUN as fast as you can AWAY from Pine Lake Terrace!!!
