Pilot House at Riverdale

I have only lived here a few weeks, but the building and the staff has all been fantastic. It was a super easy process to move in, everyone here is extremely welcoming, the staff is willing to help, and it's a great area to live in. Highly recommend!

Great place! It's nice and peaceful with a Whole Foods right across the street, while also being a very reasonable distance away from the metro and UMD.

Really enjoy living at the pilot house for the past 2 years! They have only gotten better! We love the community and the area it is located in :) joined the gym in the area, frequent the neighboring restaurants, go to Whole Foods all the time, and are loving the new call your mother deli just a block away!

Very happy here! Love the location and that everything is maintained so clean and tidy. And then there’s the staff. The staff is so kind and responsive they really make it a pleasure to live here!

We have happily lived here for 9 months while our home was being renovated for one-floor living. We could not have picked a better temporary apartment. The service is outstanding, staff helpful, cheerful and a delight to see each day. The concierge service is a real bonus for senior citizens. When we no longer want to care for a house, we will definitely move back to Pilot House before he have to go to the old folks home! The residents are delightful as well.

Great experience and very happy with the upkeep of the apartment and the leasing professionals were outstanding. Overall it was a smooth move in.

Very disappointing! Had an issue and management took their time responding to it. They finally responded via email in a very condescending tone. Residents pay rent which is the equivalent to a mortgage to live here and expect excellent customer service. Will not recommend this community!

Friendly staff and prompt service when something needs to be addressed or fixed. It has been a great experience for the past year. Highly recommended.

Love living at The Pilot House! The apartment is very comfortable with lots of sunlight and the staff is super friendly, particularly the Concierge staff. Nina, Rachell, Amber. The Maintenance staff is always friendly and helpful. Look forward to having another happy year living at the Pilot House in Riverdale!

Fantastic on all fronts. Beautiful apartments, terrific location, peaceful vibe, clean environment, secure building, nice amenities, resident events and activities throughout the year. And what an amazing staff — everyone’s so friendly and responsive! I can’t say enough positive things about Pilot House!

Staff here at Pilot House are exceptional. When they're not tied up on the wknds, they even bring our paper newspaper up to our apartment. The parties and celebrations Pilot House throws are great events and allow us to meet some of our neigbors.

I have really enjoyed living at the Pilot House! The community is very clean and also well kept up, the apartments are very spacious/well designed, and the community outside the area feels safe and convenient! The leasing office is also great with updates and communication which is hard to come by!

Pilot House Riverdale is a lovely property and great amenities. The staff is very helpful and the community is filled with friendly people. Decent area as well

Outstanding property! Safe, modern, and just all the way around awesome! The concierge desk, office staff, maintenance, and cleaners are all professionals who make living here feel like home! There are no issues whatsoever with unruly neighbors which makes it feel more like a community than just “another apartment complex” and there is an amazing on site police officer who adds a sense of protection and safety to living here.

Amazing! Building and common areas are extremely well-maintained and always kept clean. Nice peaceful atmosphere throughout. Concierges are well-organized and very friendly. Super responsive maintenance. Leasing office always happy to help. Quiet inside my unit. Nice amenities including gym, beverage machine with coffees, tea, hot chocolate and the like, I especially like the free printing! Management periodically hosts fun events for the residents. Great location just a few minutes walk to Metro and MARC rail, Whole Foods, Starbucks, numerous restaurants, Gold’s Gym, Club Pilates, Fed Ex, etc. We love living here!

I've been living at the Pilot House for about a month and really love it. The staff are outstanding and always extend a warm welcome when I return home from work or walking the dogs. Special shout-out to Rochelle, Toni, Brittany and Eduardo! Thanks for all you've done to welcome me here. The building is clean and safe and very quiet. The neighbors I've met so far are friendly and kind. I enjoy being so close to the Whole Foods and all the restaurants, yet there's very little noise on the street. The trail next to the building is a great asset ... so beautiful and just a short walk to either College Park Metro or Riverdale MARC.

I’ve really enjoyed my living at the pilot house! They always host events, the amenities are always clean, Conceirge is available to help with quick questions/needs, and the leasing office responds quickly. The community has been great to live in!

Pilot house is friendly, efficient, helpful and convenient. Rooms generously sized; closets huge and well-appointed. Staff is cheerful and very helpful.

A year staying at Pilot House at Riverdale, I had a great experience. Friendly neighbors and staffs, everything to shop and eat nearby, safe place to take a walk, new and neat unit, etc. It's truly a great place to call home! I would recommend this place to anyone who's planning to move near College Park. Although I feel this place super safe, within the last 4 months, I had my boy friend's car tires stolen TWICE. Something that present and future residences should know about.. And since this is happened on the street (though it is right in front of the enterance of the building), you cannot get any help from the property. It's the only reason I had to rate 4 stars.

I rarely have any issues, but when I do the staff is very communicative and helpful. Also a very clean complex and great atmosphere. It is a lovely community!

Excellent! We love living here. It’s quiet, safe, and clean. The location is very walkable. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly. The events Pilot House hosts for its residents are much appreciated! What’s not to love?!

It’s a nice place- clean, quiet, nice neighborhood and the building itself is well maintained with lots of security features (key for every elevator and door even inside the building). There’s a Whole Foods across the street, inside the community bike/walking trail that leads to a little lake (with turtles!) and it’s close enough to campus to attend easily, but far enough that you’re away from campus life. Overall, a great place!

Have really enjoyed our stay with pilot house! So much we plan to renew our lease! The facilities are great, we love our apartment, and the area is perfect to be able to walk and get your essentials!

All the people who work their are so nice. If you move here you will find that they're very accommodating. I would avoid living next to the courtyard though, noise travels very easily and if there are people out there you will hear them for the entirety of the time they are there.

Love the walkscore! This a great location and provides us with a sense of community. Engaging events and gathering with neighbors is a bonus. The staff is friendly and professional.

Clean apartment complex with nice residents in the area. The apartment complex affords you an opportunity to be close to Whole Foods, local restaurants, and bike trails.

We are new residents at Pilot and we already love our community! Very peaceful. Our move in process was so easy and Paris was an amazing help!

So far, it's going quite well. It's pretty quiet, and the hallways gym are well-maintained. It's also very convenient having the parking lot so close.

We have now lived at the pilot house for 9 months and have really enjoyed it! They work hard to keep the community areas clean/fresh with there custodial staff. The Conceirge desk is there 8am-12am which make it so easy to get packages or help with quick apartment issues (like forgetting your keys..). The leasing staff is very responsive and send out e-mails when issues do arise to help guide the residents through those times. The community and area feels very safe and friendly. We really can see ourselves living here until we settle in our own home.

Move in process was simple and concise with the website updater being very fluid and helpful. Staff have all greeted me kindly and answered any questions or helped with any needs.

Beautiful apartments. Great location. Professional, responsive staff. Super clean. Fair rent. Only complaint is a small minority of residents leave trash and spill things and don’t seem to care about keeping the building nice.

The staff at Pilot House are always kind and friendly! I am very happy that I moved here because it is such a clean, safe environment with great amenities!

Pros: - Ridiculously fast and efficient maintenance team. - Nice immediately local area with eats and Whole Foods within walking distance. - newer building - daily cleaning staff that cleans the common areas very well. - concierge - close proximity to the walking trail Cons - Expensive rent for the build quality and amenities offered (not including amenity fee) - more often than not broken coffee machine with no disposable cups offered - no level 2 EV charger in the garage, only a supercharger nearby which is bad for your car battery health when used frequently (other properties in the same price range have this which makes it even weirder) - no pool, just a dog free green area with grills - pretty basic gym compared to the premium amenity fee and cost of rent - a fire alarm that will go off for an hour randomly and increasingly more frequently - thin ceilings (lots of stomping heard above) Overall, a really nice property but definitely not a 5 star property given my experience (see cons above)

The area is nice and it's only a short walk to the grocery store. Plus, the sunset is always really pretty and, sometimes, you can even see the moon and sun in the same window.

The application and move in process was seamless and very straight forward. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the location and the proximity to UMD and stores.

The community is extremely safe and staff are wonderful. After living abroad for several years, the staff made it easy to move in and make me feel at home

Having been a resident for three months now I can say this is the cleanest, most well maintained apartment building I’ve ever been in. And I’m in the delivery industry so I’ve been in hundreds!

So far so good! My husband and I just moved in a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with our new home and the complex in general. The gym is PERFECT and staff is so friendly!

So far so good! Staff are very nice and building is well taken care of. Maintenance staff is responsive. No creepy critters that have been seen around the premises either.

I haven’t been here very long but this far my experience with the office staff, the members of the concierge desk team, and the maintenance team have all been superb. I had many questions about parking and just making sure that I knew how everything works around here and I have gotten prompt responses and clarity each time. The location is also just perfection. I walk so many places and I’ve really been enjoying cultivating the lifestyle that I desired. This move has been wonderful.

I have really enjoyed being at PH. Our apartment is spacious and up to date. Indoor parking is convenient. Trash is simple to discard. Leasing office answers emails quickly and are helpful. The area we live is very nice to grab a bite to eat or head to the grocery store to get some last minute items :)
