Property Ratings at Pierside South
I have had pleasant interactions with the cleaning crew. I am not impressed with the staff and management at pierside South. We were not allowed into the apartment until after the lease was signed. Once the lease was signed, the management team refused to respond to emails or phone calls. I was told, to my face by management, Tyler specifically, that a document had been given to my wife. This was unequivocally untrue. When she asked him for the document herself, Tyler, made my wife stand outside the conference room while he, literally, fluffed pillows and changed the TV channels. After 15 minutes he took the back way out and my wife had to go from nd him at the leasing office. Unacceptable behavior by any standard. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Pierside south is the best place i have ever lived at .
Do not rent. Overpriced. The leasing office workers were extremely unhelpful. They delayed my move-in by a week by mandating a cashier's check. I am still waiting for a credit to my account because of the late move in/mandated cashier's check. Low/no shower pressure.
A wonderful community in the heart of downtown Oceanside. Great facilities with a fantastic view from the 7th floor rooftop lounge!
I love living in the Pierside south community, it’s a clean and quiet community with controlled access and many amenities. The staff are professional and prompt, and my overall process was seamless. Both the leasing and maintenance staff has been great - friendly, quick to respond and helpful. Friendly community also and gym is good! Only been here a short time, but my only nit-pick would be to fix or update the key fob system.
The maintenance staff including Luis and Miguel could not be better!
Pierside is a wonderful community of staff and residents. I feel extremely safe with my younger sons at Pierside with all the security on the property. Pierside is very clean and well manicured.
This is the best place to live! Management care and residents are kind too. You cannot beat the location, and the level of finishing and amenities are unmatched!
I absolutely love my apartment and the amazing view. Being one block from the beach is a huge advantage. The people here are wonderful and I love the sense of community. Did I mention the incredible food, bars, and coffee shop all within a block of the apartment?

I just moved in and am loving it! Oceanside has a vibrancy all its own - people want to enjoy themselves here and the community outreach seems to support that.
I have been at Pierside South for about 2 years now. Everything about it is first class, especially the team in the leasing office (thank you Barbara!). If maintenance is ever needed in your apartment, they are prompt and polite. The gym is fantastic (although through no fault of the building management it is closed now due to covid). However, they are very good about following state guidelines and open it when it is allowed. I'm looking forward to that happening again soon!!
I think its a beautiful place to live. I just wish they kept up with the standards when I first moved in. Its lacking the Spa /Hotel feel.
Lovely apartment in a prime location. Just a five minute walk from the beach and a five minute drive to everything that you need.
The rent is too expensive, especially considering amenity closures for months. We were told when we moved in that the trains would be silent after January 2020 which proved to be untrue. Fellow residents are routinely loud and disrespectful late at night. Overall the location is the only redeeming factor.
The ladies in the office truly are the upper crust of the entire operation. Their kindness friendliness professionalism and compassion is VERY noticeable and it stands out as one of the most enjoyable parts about living at Pierside. Thank you for all you do!

overpriced, depleting views and a management company that has NO clue. All this and a train that goes through your living room at all hours. cherry on top? You bet. You will love your random run-ins with dangerous characters from the bus and train station next door.

We love Pierside! It is safe, clean, updated, and has an overall great feel about it. We love the amenities and the proximity to the beach and restaurants. We are happy with our decision to move to Pierside.
I love Pierside South! The amenities are fantastic and very high end, and the apartment has a nice layout with a modern look. The neighbors are friendly as well as the property staff. I highly recommend living here at Pierside where you will feel at home!
My studio apartment is perfect for me as it is equipped with every essential I need for living comfortably.
I WOULD NOT recommend this community for anyone to rent. Even though the location is great. The management, their sense of urgency, and kindness to their tenants arent worth the great location. Move somewhere that youre not just a percentage number and youre actually appreciated for the amount of money you spend.
