The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Pierside North
Location, location, location. Thursday is my favorite day at the market outside my door for fruits veggies and arts and crafts gifts. Ride the near by river bike trail. Coffee and donuts on every corner and best retardants a walk from home.
Pierside North is a nice place to live. They are located minutes from the pier. I think the new management team is great, the maintenance has always been great. There are downsides - they increase the rent every year, the security is minimal, people have a difficult time delivering packages and food to our location. It is noisy
Management team follow-up efforts average at best.
Pierside North is a wonderful place to live. Like being on a perpetual vacation with a walk to the beach, dozens or restaurants, weekly street markets, always warn sunny days, many coffee shops, and a movie theater a block away. Also, the Secuity and friendly neighbors top the list.
Nice place to live, close to anything and everything. Residents are friendly and considerate. Apartments are laid out well and functional..and grounds are well maintained. If you like trains, this is the place for you.
Great location, friendly residents, the maintenance team is quick and di=o a great job, management is usually helpful but seems to lack proper communication regarding keeping everyone in the loop.
Again, great little private community. Respectful and attentive/friendly neighbors and lots of adorable dogs.
My experience at Pierside North so far has been wonderful! Tyler was very responsive and helpful.
Pierside North is a friendly quaint little village of its own. Neighbors, ost with dogs always take the time to say hi and visit, letting you get to know them, which is not the norm for San Diego County, everyone is always in a rush.
Great place to live, can't beat the location, not just the beach but dining and entertainment. But more important than that are the residents, every one I have passed coming and going, in the hallway or picking up mail and packages has been the nicest acquaintances I have talked in quite awhile, taking the time to stop and have a conversation and introduce me to their dog!
(Train) Noise, neighbors, and constant alarms (the parking garage goes off and is left on 3-4 times per day). My car was stolen from the garage and I've seen people walking past my apartment (by hopping the fence from the rail road) multiple times. I recognize a lot of this is outside management's control, but living here is definitely not what I hoped it would be.
Dont move here. The area is dangerous. The management does not care. The facilities are not open but you get no discount. No virtual activities. The dog park is very stinky. Nowhere to sit outside at the dog park except a bench. Why dont we get chairs like Pierside South? Elevator is frequently down. Things like the security gate has not shut in over 6 months. Dog/bike wash room has been closed for months. Street kids get into the second floor private residential area by climbing the locked gate. Not a safe place to live. Beware.
Pierside has excellent maintenance staff! They are friendly, professional and very efficient!
Be very careful read your lease, be sure you have the parking situation figured out. Good luck trying to reach anyone at corporate.
Been renting apartments around San Diego for the past 20 years and by far, this is the best apartment Ive lived in. Its clean and neighbors are friendly. Management very professional.
How could you not love living a block from the beach, everything you need is within walking distance. Theres underground parking, with pools, gyms, rooftop fire pits, doggie areas, and much more.
Enjoy the closeness to the beach and downtown Oceanside. Very secure feeling living here.
The best (but also most noisy) apartment I ever lived in.
Overall satisfied had a few hiccups at Pierside with damage to my car
Pleasant experiences so far at Pierside. I enjoy my apartment and the location is great- I can walk to local restaurants and of course, the beach. The maintenance people, Karl and Elizabeth are attentive and the girls in the office care about the residents. Can't wait for the trains to stop honking though!
This is the Worst place I've ever lived! The construction noise is so bad that it rattles the walls for hours and it can go on for weeks! When I've approached someone in the office for information, they never know what's going on and are even less apologetic about it. My advice is rent somewhere else, there are better places without the noise pollution.
