Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.

Kept my deposit.
I was never late with my rent for over 3 years even during COVID but when the time came for me to move out, they gave excuses not to give me my deposit back so they kept my deposit. So unprofessional.

PickWick
My apartment is privately owned, by a sweet Old Man, Mr. Michael Oh. There are 6 units total, two on each floor. I love this unit because of the people who lives here; it's very quiet and the location is convenient, with grocery stores and Walgreens in front of the unit. I've lived here for three and a half years, but in the complex for 8 total. Mr. Oh makes paying rent a pleasant experience and he's always available and ready to assist. There's a separate mailbox in the hallway, and you just place your rent in the box. I highly recommend this complex.
