Hillsboro is a tight-knit suburban community located a little less than an hour south of Dallas-Fort Worth. There’s a variety of housing styles in this intimate city. Close to the city center you’ll find more venerable homes and apartments, but there’s a more classic suburban feel and look and you move out towards the I-35. There’s plenty of space on offer in Hillsboro.
Historic Downtown Hillsboro has a number of appealing sites and buildings that bring a classic Texas feel to the town. The Texas Theatre, Hill County Courthouse, and First Baptist Church contribute to the overall architectural history of the city.
There are a few stores and a strip mall on the east side of town to keep residents entertained, but the real draw of Hillsboro is its laid-back feel. Up north is Wallace Park and Hillsboro City Park, providing playgrounds and access to plenty of sports fields.

WORST PLACE EVER
Nothing ever gets fixed! Can't even wash your clothes here because it's broken down and old and filthy. Bad management and terrible maintenance. Most unprofessional place I have EVER dealt with. You don't want to live here! Worst years of my life!
