Pavona Apartments

My move-in experience was wonderful. There was transparent and welcoming communication from management regarding any questions that I had. We were able to tour a few units prior to committing to a lease agreement and ultimately decided to move in! The community is quiet and is walking distance to Japantown, the streets are busy with cars but you cannot really hear them inside your unit. The maintenance teams responds promptly and the management is always available for assistance.

Pavona apartments are in the middle of beautiful Japan town, walking distance to restaurants and coffee shop. The apartments are pet friendly and the fact that they have lockers for the packages is amazing. The staff are pretty responsive when I send emails. Supper friendly staff.

so far so good, there's always room for improvement but being patient and kind, makes for a better community...

I have had a good experience living at Pavona Apartments. My apartment has everything I need and all amenities are well maintained.

Not worth the price, there are nicer buildings with better management and amenities that work. There is constantly trash overflowing here and the parking lot is never checked. People who live across the street and going to the park park here overnight.

Beautiful countertops and flooring. Appreciate the package room for safe delivery, the grills and pool area, the rentable event space, and the gym. Great communication and hospitality from the leasing office.

Pavona Apartments has been great! The units are nice and the location nearby Japantown is hard to beat. We are also a very short drive/bus ride to the Berryesa Transit Center, so taking a BART train to SF is convenient.

My experience at Pavona from the start was good, great ladies working at the leasing office, offer to do a tour alone or with them, I wanted to do it alone. Submitted my application and received the news the same day that I was approved. The whole process has been easy to move in and professional.I love that the community send out emails about the construction or what is happening in the community. I love that the community is supper quiet in the morning, makes my morning peaceful.

We love our experience at Pavona! Would rate it 10/10. We have been living in this complex for over 2.5 years and when looking into a potentially bigger apartment, we wanted to only look within Pavona. I want to take a moment to highlight the amazing Pavona staff as they are why we have had such a great experience. They are kind, trustworthy, and are always so helpful. They go above and beyond. The move in process is seamless.

The office staff continue to be friendly, professional, and helpful! The landscaping is gorgeous and the location is great. Noise is very low except for the frequent train horn, but that’s a plus in my book.

The leasing experience was easy and hassle free. Vanessa, the leasing agent, was very friendly and professional and attended to my needs in a timely manner. She always responds to my messages promptly and has been very patient with all my concerns and requests. Despite the great customer service, the unit did not meet my expectations among move in. Several things were not ready and attention was not paid to many details in the unit.

Each time I've had issue, the maintenance crew has been on point. No complaints at all. Whether it was a loose rack, light out or fixing my washing machine. The crew has done an excellent job. The apartments and neighborhood are really great! I love the amenities including the laundry and air conditioning. The management staff are amazing and so accommodating and nice. The policy for rent is very unforgiving and the service for alternate payment called bilt is very temperamental and should not be used if you live here.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. I appreciate all of the kindness I have been shown since moving here in 2020. Thanks Pavona!

The community is well kept, neighbors are friendly & quiet, leasing staff are always welcoming and helpful.

Pavona is a great place to live. Stephanie the manager is outstanding. Attentive, friendly and a great communicator. This complex is different and has an outdoor feel. It’s very safe to walk my dog both inside and outside the gates of the complex. Storage on the balcony is clutch! I especially love the w/d mini laundry room. I think most of all the location, community and office staff are what attracts me the most. The residents are quiet and respectful. Great location. Car smog, food, dental, vision, beauty care, everything is within walking distance. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the complex and it’s company processes & policies. It’s great here at Pavona!

Pavona is a safe community in a great location, walking distance to Japan Town and a short Uber to downtown San Jose. Staff were friendly and attentive with any of our needs, packages were always safely stored thanks to their locker system. The pool and gym are small but clean and fun. Would consider staying here again if I moved back to the bay area.

I haven't had many great experiences with the touring and viewing of apartments im inerested in. I find that the individual giving me the tour is preoccupied with other things on their mind or in a completerush to get it over with. But i was very plesed whe i waked into the Pavona Apartments in San Jose . Vanessa , who gave me the tour of the apartment were very helpful. She was energetic , kind hearted and in a completely uplifting mood. I had long day and didnt want to be treated like I was a hassle. Venessa was great. She gave me a thorough look of the property and showed me all the amenities.

Pavona Apartments is a safe gated community. Areas are well-kept. The surrounding neighborhood is great, with Japantown being a walking distance, and downtown SJ isn't too far.

Lately, it has been bad there is a lot more noise from the neighbors like at 12:00 am. The gates are left open always so there is no security. There is so much weed smoking by the neighbors.

We appreciate the professionalism of the maintenance team and how quickly resolved issues are after reporting to Pavona. We’ve never had to wait for more than a day for an issue to be addressed.

Maintenance has always communicated well. I’ve been living here going on six years and have been through 3 maintenance staff members. All have been very kind, caring and communicative. The quality of work is great!

the maintenance team is not that good. the gate beside building 3 doesn't auto close. Its been 3 weeks since we told the leasing office, maintenance tells they fixed it but its not. we are not allowed to install security cameras either like ring. once I saw a homeless person enter the community

The leasing office is very friendly, professional, and responsive.

I have had all good experiences while living here this past year. Management is nice and helpful, any problems with apt gets handled promptly and its a nice quiet location for the most part.

Apartment was in terrible condition upon move in. Maintenance emergencies not treated as emergencies.

Accessibility, the amminities, the greeniries at the courtyard, its gated complex and with the exceptional management staff.

Staff and front office are awesome. Very nice, helpful and prompt with emails.

Ive had great experiences at Pavona with anything we would need fixed, mainly minor things around the house. They have responded quickly by email to schedule a time to come out and its always a very quick and easy service.

Pavona Apartments is an excellent candidate for living close to the downtown San Jose community. It's a short walk/drive to anywhere in the Bay Area, and I'm happy to continue to call this place "home."

Nice community to line in. Ours is a single bedroom apartment which has upgraded kitchen and has a nice amount of space. Very close the park on E mission street for you to walk your dog and go for a walk around. Love it so far.

Excellent staff. Ideal location - i have access to major freeways 280/680, 880, 101 and 87. Near airport and target. Walking distance to japantown. Management is great- always a prompt response and assistance, friendly.

The maintenance is done fast and efficient when they go to your apartment to fix items.

Maintenance is absolutely phenomenal. They always go above and beyond what is needed. They get the work done fast and efficiently while trying to minimize any disruption to your (work)day.

The leasing agents we worked with have been excellent communicators and reply promptly to our emails. We have not experienced any significant issues at Pavona. All staff and maintenance workers have been very friendly. We wish we could stay, but we cannot afford the raise in our rent.

Marino & Ana have been so helpful and efficient with the few times we've had maintenance requests. Every interaction with them has been great and they are such an asset to the community! Also shout out to Logan & Michelle for their check-ins during our maintenance issue back in February, always prompt and wonderful to work with

Pavona is a lovely community! With stunning, up-to-date apartments, an amazing location, and quality amenities, you are definitely getting the best deal in San Jose!

The quality of the apartment is decent and the kitchen, bathrooms, and living room all neat, tidy and clean. The service by the leasing office is very prompt and efficient. The criticism is the overall noise level of the surrounding area (freight train, construction), which although can't be avoided, is made worse by the amount of gardening during the day with the use of a leaf blower and workers (maintenance, gardening) talking loudly to each other on the property. The noise makes it difficult to work from home, which is what many people are doing at the moment.

The maintenance staff at Pavona is lovely! They respond to my emergency phone calls with speed and professionalism. Part of the reason I really enjoy living here!

Was excited when I moved in but I don't like how the other tenants leave piles of garbage/recycling out. Because of Pandemic haven't really been able to use amenities.

Pavona is a great place to live. The management has been very responsive during the pandemic.

The apartment is great, I love the huge tub in the master bedroom. I also love how we can post things on the website and connect with our neighbors.

The staff has been really helpful in times when I have needed their help.

In an area where rent is expensive across the board, what you get for what you pay here at Pavona Apartments is a good deal. The apartment looks new and modern, in unit wash and dry is greatly appreciated, and the storage area on the porch is nice as well!

I was impressed by how quickly management showed up on a Saturday night to help fix our broken washer.

The respond time was very quick. The interaction was very pleasant and issue got resolved! :-)

Management seems to consistently put the least possible amount of effort into everything they do. Their attitude with customer engagement seems to be "We're in charge and we don't want to do that." That's the total opposite of good customer service.
