Property Ratings at Parkside Heights
PLEASE READ the content of this critical review. Parkside Heights used to be a well-kept, high-quality apartment community — the older reviews reflect that. Unfortunately, since Asset property management (slum lord management company) purchased the property things have dramatically changed. Dumpsters often have trash scattered everywhere, and the gates to the dumpsters are always left open, blocking the road and creating sanitation issues. Dog waste all over the property, and the complex’s dog waste bins are either overflowing or not maintained properly. The complex states a $50 fine for not picking up dog waste, but they do not care to enforce it. What’s most frustrating is that management clearly has resources — they’re building an entirely new apartment building on site — yet they’re not keeping the existing grounds clean or maintaining the advertised amenities. In addition to the physical issues around the property, management recently switched the online portal for paying rent and requesting maintenance to Bilt. Since this change, the process has become far less user-friendly and significantly more difficult to navigate. Tasks that used to take only a few clicks — like submitting maintenance requests or making on-time payments — are now frustrating and time-consuming, adding yet another layer of inconvenience for residents Parkside Heights once offered good quality living, but under the new ownership it feels neglected and mismanaged. Until management redirects some of its resources into maintaining the community residents already live in, conditions will likely continue to decline.
I have lived here since last year and I still do. And it’s a wonderful place to stay. And a very great staff. Maintenance guy is great and soo polite and all request are treated as priority. Noise level is 2/10 with great and clean environment.
Been here for a few months now and couldn't be happier with the place. Management has been very helpful and responsive. Kristi in the office got us set up with a tour and had our lease done all in the same day we called asking about availability. She has also set up some Easter egg hunts for all the kids that live here, which really took us as above and beyond. There's a very communal feeling here and they definitely want everyone to feel welcomed. It's been great for our kids. Only issue we've had was a problem with our AC, but they took care of it immediately. They even offered us a portable AC unit to get by until everything was fixed. The apartments are brand new and look it. Everything is modern and high quality. I've rented in other places around here and Richmond and this is by far the nicest and cleanest. Overall, its a very nice place and community tucked away in a very nice neighborhood.
I have been a resident here for over a year now and have no complaints. It is in the perfect location, close to restaurants, shopping, and groceries, and the neighborhood is GREAT!

This is a great place to live if you’re looking for a quieter quaint apartment. Nestled in the back of a neighborhood it’s a great place to relax and have a good time!

This apartment is a great spot to live in if you want peaceful vibes and a great living space. I highly recommend this area to live whether no matter the age.

I am a resident at Parkside Heights, and I truly enjoy living here! The neighborhood itself is safe and quiet— the apartments are tucked back behind houses. I’ve never had any issues here with car break ins or generally feeling unsafe (compared to other places I’ve lived in Lexington). On the inside, apartments are so nice and spacious, with up to date kitchen appliances and granite countertops. This is the best place I have lived in my 6 years of being in Lexington. Perfect for families or singles!

I have lived here for about 2 months now and I have no regrets at all. Great location. Nice and quiet. Close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores. Very spacious living space. Highly recommend moving out here and living at Parkside Heights!
