Parker Point is a nice place to live. For the most part, it is very quiet and peaceful. It is conveniently located to Mt. Pleasant and North Charleston. I recommend this apartment complex.

I wish I was warned before signing a lease.

I wish I could give zero stars. There are almost a thousand apartment complexes along Clements Ferry road. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Don’t regret not listening to this review either! Not a gated community, I’ve mentioned this to the management and they don’t care (tell me they are trying to get it fixed, but I’ve lived here 10 months with broken gates behind buildings, and no working gate at the front or back of the apartment complex.) MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO!!!!???! Management said they could do nothing because thankfully nothing was stolen so I didn’t need to file a police report. Without a police report they really don’t care at all, THEY DIDNT EVEN REPORT IT TO OTHER RESIDENTS. No one should feel safe here. They’ve been painting a horrific white on the buildings, which has been taking up at least 10 spots of parking at a time, leaving me multiple times with limited to no parking at night. Noisy trucks every morning, but yet they can’t fix the gate— priorities, really. And it seems that when you go back years on their reviews there has never been a working gate. Haley is extremely kind, but seems like she’s not fit to getting things done, there might be higher management and she has no control over the horrible aspects of living here. We received a credit due to the lack of air conditioning in our first few months. I could go on and on. Trash piles up outside of garbage for almost weeks at a time. Randomly added locks to the gates at the pool. The bushes are so thick around the pool there’s no air flow, it’s the best part about the property but still subpar. I’ve had more mail get lost this year than ever before, there’s a mailbox and an extremely unorganized (and unclean) mail room— that mailmen never even know where it is??? Easy for people to steal and I don’t doubt it after my car was broken into. Sometimes mail shows up at my door, sometimes mailbox, sometimes mail room, if you like wild goose chases, this place is for you! Do yourself a favor, there’s overlook apartments up the road that are nicer. Or pay more to live in a better location. Just. Do. Not. Live. Here. I wish someone told me this before moving in. I wish I knew, please take this into account and don’t be stuck regretting like I am.

It's been pretty good so far, we love how quiet it is and it is affordable compared to other 2 bedroom apartments in the area. What we haven't loved is the outdated appliances we have since moving in, several things have broken and still haven't been fixed. We also had one of our cars broken into and that was a huge bummer. So far I have had a really pleasant experience. From the first appointment to submitting my application and some hiccups there, on my end, to move it, it was all great. It is a decent complex. There are still issues that need to be addressed one is there still pot smoking going on not only next-door to me but upstairs as well and when they were working on the sprinkler system and got that squared away the landscaping in the back of building 4000 could use a little bit of work And also the residence that live here that have pets still feel that they don’t have to clean up after their pet and also valet trash cans that are being left out all the time and we also have residence that don’t know how to park. I had one halfway into my space And evidently when he got out of his car, he left a mark on my car. They also need to do something about the outside lighting. The key fob works sometimes and then sometimes it doesn’t work. It would be nice to have those either replaced or fixed and also have the gates Fix. And when the breezeways need to be cleaned or swept out from leaves and debris, it would be nice that it was taken care of when it needs to be done

Move-in was not smooth. I changed my move-in date with one person, and it wasn’t communicated so a different person sent me a lease with the wrong date. Then the lease with correct date had the wrong price. They changed my apartment number a day before I was supposed to move in, which meant I had to change my address with the internet, energy, mail, and insurance people. Apartment was not super clean when I moved in. Sticky and smelled like cigarette smoke. Fake eyelashes on the bathroom floor. Within the first 1.5 weeks, my front door lock broke as a result of some pressure washing they were doing. I submitted a work request on a Thur. Lock was not fixed Fri. I called Mon and they confirmed it would be fixed. As of Tue morning, it was still not fixed. I had to call maintenance and request immediate assistance since I needed to leave and couldn’t lock my apartment. The maintenance guy said “oh I did this request already but I got the numbers mixed up and fixed the wrong lock”.

Nice but loosing confidence

We’ve only been here almost 3 months … we started out happy, but loosing the happiness quickly. Filled out move in sheet and that has still not all been fulfilled and we even went as far as filling maintenance request for each and still nothing. The dog poop issue has become a ridiculous problem to where if you don’t have a flashlight with you you’ll step in it at night or early morning … maybe no more pets allowed and just the residents that are here already only can have a pet. Management needs to follow through with putting fines on residents if they aren’t following lease terms … example: in our building a resident has a dog poop can in front of his door … there are plenty of poop stations throughout complex that can be used … we live in a gated community, but gates are wide open because the gates don’t work properly with a remote and so they’ve been open indefinitely and we are all given key fobs to access our building, but they don’t work either for the newer residents, so if going to advertise gated community and it’s not, then lower rent maybe

It's an ok place to live. It's over priced and the amenities are lacking. The clubhouse is nice and it helps that you can reserve it for free but the pool and the gym are nothing special. The package room is a mess and I have had packages stolen, when I suggest a more secure way to handle the packages it goes no where. We were promised upgraded appliances and "features when we resigned our lease but Management changes every year so I'm sure that has been dropped in the mix.

Before the rent hike things were fine. Several changes in management/ownership and felt like there’s was a new person weekly in the office. For the title “luxury apartment living” this place doesn’t meet luxury standards- in comparison to the complexes Down the road. The gate worked on sometimes, elevators broke often, dog poop everywhere, and small pool area.

Very pleasant to live here. Kept nice and clean. Has a great gym and pool. Great front desk also. Feels very safe to take my dog on long walks.
