Great place to live only concerns is neighbors with pets need to do a better job of keeping their area clean from pet smells/urine ect…. And the fire pit is really nice but it’s always broken

I enjoy everyone in your office in Park Pointe Office . They are very efficient kind and understanding. I also enjoy the maintenance personnel they’re efficient or quick and anything you need done they get it done with no questions just done. I just appreciate that. I know that things will get replaced correctly that they will fix it and I don’t have to worry about anything.

I love the community and staff onsite, however I don’t think that there is turn around on repairs for amenities. I have been here for almost 3 years and the same machines have been broken. There has never been an eagerness to fix it. I also dislike the switch of the black dog bags to green bags. Makes the community more smelly and bags are cheap quality to which I notice more neighbors are not picking up their dogs leftovers.

We have been here for 9 years to date. 2015-2024 Comments you read will say a lot of negative things about our Park Pointe Community, but our experience has been a positive one over the years. Anything that has happened maintenance wise, the maintenance staff and administration has always been so very helpful and proactive. The office has also taken action to ensure the safety of the community when we have reported incidents like installing lamps around the community to brighten dark areas at night, installing cameras in the parking garages, and other things. Things happened everywhere, but the staff can’t make improvements or changes if residents don’t report incidents to the office. We have enjoyed our 9 years here and enjoy the community and neighbors. It's a great location to live in. It's a fairly quiet community. It's right next to a community park that's pretty lively throughout the week. You're close to two groceries stores and a Target! There's also plenty of shops and restaurants near by.

When I began apartment searching park pointe was on the top of my list . The staff was very quick to reach out and able to book a tour the same day I reached out . Naara was my leasing agent and was very welcoming and helped answer all of my questions. We loved the viewing so much we applied the next day and moved in at the end of that same week. For the rise in rent in San Diego county. Park Pointe is the cheaper option. Still way above affordable. The buildings are old, they have tons of issues. Random teens and people park in your assigned spots in the parking structure and smoke and drink alcohol, leaving their trash behind.

Love this community, it's in a great area, nice quiet neighbors, great service and care in the office, promt and knowledgeable maintenance, beautiful scenery, I see housecleaning on the property often, landscaping upkeep is nice.

My fiance and I were returning from deployment and needed a new place ASAP. Park Pointe made making an appointment extremely convenient and when we we arrived we were greeted with a smile, shown multiple floor plans, and a full tour of the community. Sucks!!! Dont move here. Staff is mean, and the place is poorly run. You can do better elsewhere for the price. The cars blast their music speed through the area. Appliances stay broke because you wait a month for a service order response. I can't wait to move. im so miserable here.

This place started out fantastic. The neighbors are lovely. But theft is common and nothing is done about it management side. I do not suggest moving here if you care for the state or contents of your vehicle or balcony.

We are sorry to hear of this concern. Although we cannot stop all crime from occurring, we have taken steps to prevent it. We utilize a security patrol company, Security First, who can be reached at (619) 243-3992. We also utilize a security camera system at various locations throughout the community. In addition, we have partnered with the San Diego Sherriff to allow them to also patrol our community. I love the community. My neighbors seem friendly and I love the fact that my dog is welcome here and that there is a park close by that she like to go for long walks in.

I wouldn’t recommend moving to park pointe. It’s not a hassle free experience, staff are defensive and condescending. Having to address routine issues in regards to your living situations are generally met with what you the resident should have done, as though you are the owner of this property.

Parke Pointe so far is a very nice place to live. It's quiet and next to a park I can walk my son there. Love all the amenities they provide and spacious apartments.

New renters beware. This is not the best of properties in El Cajon to rent from. In fact, this is one of Greystars worst properties. Poorly managed on all counts. I lived here for 1 1/2 years. When I moved in, my newly remodeled apartment was not completed. They never came back in to finish it, leaving a hole under the cabinets, drawers in the kitchen not able to close, rough leaked during the rain, closet door wheels not put on, toilet leaked. I reported them all. I reported the heater not working 4 times. The apartment would not ever get warmer than 65 degrees. During my first week there, a family of 11 skunks lived on the stairs by the wall. I took pictures and submitted complaints it took months before the office hired a trapper. The dogs in the area were getting sprayed. Wildlife runs on the property. A TON OF COYOTES. BEWARE if you have pets. This is not the place if you are disabled. Stairs, stairs, and more stairs. They are everywhere. No ramps. No easy slopes. The handicapped must walk in the parking lot with the speeding cars because the complex can provide a place for the handicapped to walk safely. Even if you have a handicapped pet there is no place. The water heater is shared with the other tenants in the unit. Yes, that's right. So expect to pay a water bill that is more than $140.00 a month for water. The more water your neighbors use, the more you are charged. Oh, and the bills are a month or two behind. You can expect to pay two more bills when you move out. Do not expect to get a single bit of your deposit back. They will find a way to keep every penny. Mom and I didn't have one hole in the wall. The paint looked like new when we moved out. They charged $120 for a new paint job and never painted the place. I know this because they rented the apartment two after we moved out. They charged for the cleaning $190.00 and $140.00 for the carpets to be cleaned. They will not do anything about the parking issues. They will not do anything about the neighbors, pot smoke, or loud noises. They don't care. The police and FBI are there at least once a week doing raids on someone's apartment. You can find better run places in El Cajon than this place.
