Located about four miles east of Downtown San Diego, Mountain View earned its name because of its clear views of San Miguel Mountain. The neighborhood has a relaxed vibe, a strong sense of community, and plenty of parks. Residents gather at the Mountain View Community Center to shoot hoops or spend time outdoors at the adjacent Mountain View Park. Greenwood Memorial Park and Southcrest Community Park sit just outside the neighborhood on the north and south ends, respectively.
