I've lived here for ten years which should say something right there about how satisfying it is to live here. Besides the obvious fantastic amenities that you can see online, what you can't see is the wonderful and helpful office staff and the excellent maintenance we experience every day. When you choose an apartment complex, you may be awed by the look of the apartments but when it comes down to what's important, you need to be able to count on the staff that works there. Palmetto Pointe has 24 hour, 7 days a week maintenance on call whenever an emergency happens. And when you need anything fixed or replaced in your apartment, they are right there for you. The office staff strives to work with you whenever you need them. Nothing compares to the people who work here. And we do have the most beautiful pool area and so many parties sponsored by the office staff. I love living here.
Palmetto Pointe is a perfect place to live. The office staff and maintenance teams are outstanding, always willing to help, with a smile on their faces and treating those that live here like family. Maintenance is exceptional. Always there when you need them and most of the time respond the same day. Landscaping is beautiful always. Safety is a top priority. Activities are planned by the staff usually every month. It's so much fun here. I have never been happier, felt safer in an environment that truly takes care of those living here. I am so grateful I found my home at Palmetto Pointe.

I moved to Palmetto Pointe in September of '22 and have fallen in love with where I live! I always feel like I am on vacation in a tropical resort. The entire staff is very friendly and responsive! There are fun activities and events consistently. Apartments are pristine and the grounds are well maintained. Amenities are fabulous!

I was in search of an apartment at the time of my divorce, so I needed a place to stay for the year. I filled out the application to get an apartment through here. Well of course my credit score wasn't that great at the time. But still could've made an exception. Anyways, they charged me a $125 application fee. Took my money and basically said have a nice day. I did however got an apartment right away somewhere else luckily. But do not go here for any reason whatsoever.

The leasing office staff is the worst. They’re rude and lie like it’s their job. They let someone in my apartment without notifying me first. (Not maintenance) If I didn’t have a video camera in my apartment I would have never known. Parking was such a hassle. As a young woman I did not feel safe at night, I received a letter in between my door from the police letting me know that someone was breaking into cars and apartments. For the price of the apartment I expected better. Please do not move here, you will regret it.

Honestly the rudest most unprofessional office staff I have ever came across. There are some ladies that need to be out of a job in that office. Customer service is NOT their specialty. If you would like to live somewhere where there are annoyed glances, mad expressions, and a lack of concern to any issue you may have.....YOU FOUND THE PLACE! But seriously- palmetto pointe management- Find yourself some new office staff. Its bad enough that I would say to anyone -DO NOT get yourself into a lease with these people. RUN!
Absolutely, the worst experience I have ever experienced. Me and my roommate had FLEAS the day we moved in. They tried blaming us but luckily we were smart enough to take pictures the day we moved in- to show proof of the exact day and once we told them that, they got scared. They tried to do everything they could to make us stay. They did give us half off rent for month and we demanded our carpet cleaned three times. Length of time for the fleas to go away- was around two months. BE AWARE that the apartments are extremely old. We had our refrigerator break and the maintenance man told us our refrigerator was over 20 years old. The appliances need to be up to date. We had cracks on our kitchen counter tops. Also the paint sucks on the walls and the doors. My bathroom door had HAIR all over the bathroom door and my bathroom walls- whoever painted it before I moved in, honestly just painted through the hair. Every time I was in my bathroom I felt gross. I felt the leasing agent was very rude and intimidating. I can say Kirby was extremely helpful.
Amazing location so close to everything especially the market common! The amenities are a great plus and so well kept. To top it off the staff is so kind, welcoming and easy to talk to!!
We lived in Palmetto Point for 2 years. We paid rent on time, had a few complaints that were not always addressed to our satisfaction, but , thought we left on good terms. We were shocked when we received a bill for over $500. We are being charged for new carpets for normal wear and tear for both carpets, and a blind. We did have a cat. My issue is the charges ... We were being charged for 1 blind replacement. This blind was not broken. Charge for blind replacement is $115 We are being charged with replacement of 2 rugs. Charge $350. Here is my issue. When you move in, the inspection is a simple walk through. When you leave, the inspection actually has maintenance pick up rug, to check for stains on the padding. If there is one stain, you are charged with rug replacement in both rooms , to match dye lots. This, to me, is deceptive practice. All reasonable wear and tear. Resorting to looking under the rug is the last refuge of scoundrels. Palmetto Pointe Apt is run by JMG Realty company. Beware of these unscrupulous practices that refurbish their apartments with your money as a landlord, with out the benefits of being a landlord.
I have been at Palmetto Pointe for two years. All the staff are friendly and treat you like family. Excellent maintenance crew that come and fix the issue as soon as they get the request. Great amenities that are well taken care of and the management team is always open to feedback and looking for ways to improve every aspect of the services offered! They are always having community events as well to make sure palmetto pointe is a great place to live! I highly recommend these apartments! I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
I’ve been living at Palmetto Pointe for nearly 4 years now. Everyone here has been friendly and I’ve had no problems so far. The monthly pest control service that sprays keeps those palmetto bugs I’m was used to dealing with away. The maintenance men quick to help and I get alerted if anything is holding them up by the office. The women at the leasing office are always on top of things and more than willing to listen to me if I have any issues or just stop by with my dog to talk for a bit. I love how pet friendly it is here. I walk laps with my dog around the complex or go to the Bark Park near the back of the complex where she can get off leash and play with other dogs around the complex or be lazy and soak up love from the neighbors. The the second thing I love about this place that separates it from any other place I’ve lived is the events held at the pool/recreational area that has room for 30+ people and still have space to have a few games of cornhole going on simultaneously. I’m lucky to have been able move in here that summer years ago. I’ve met a lot of good people and built memorable relationships with those around me here and look forward to making more.
We've lived here for 2 years and just love it! We moved here from out of state and was looking for a place to call home. This is the place! The office staff makes you feel like family and always helpful. You have a question or need anything they're always willing to help. The maintenance team is great! They are friendly and keep the property up beautifully. When you need something done in your apartment they're knowledgeable and always do it in a timely manner. We look forward to many years here!
I've Lived at Palmetto Point since 2017. From the time I applied my application, I Knew I was finally Home At Last. The staff makes me feel as if we are all part of a family. Being from out of state, having any family here, I will say with all seriousness It makes such a wonderful difference. I love the staff, from the Office Management to the Maintenance Staff, everyone here is so friendly. If you're looking to say" Home At Last" This will be the Apartment Complex for you. Better yet, don't just take my word, make a visit, you too will feel At Home!!
I moved to Palmetto Point apts two years ago from New York. I could not have found a better place to call home. The office staff and the maintenance crew go above and beyond to make this a special place to live. They are constantly making upgrades and keeping the complex a beautiful and safe place to live. I would highly recommend this complex the place to call home.
I've lived here just a couple of months and absolutely love it! As other reviewers have stated, the management, maintenance, and lawn care staff are outstanding. The grounds are beautiful with a pool area that includes a pavilion, grills, and hammocks, and makes you feel like you're on vacation. My apartment is a 2 bedroom 2 bath with high ceilings, ample closet space, and which looks out onto a woodland view while I am only a three minute walk to the pool. My only maintenance request thus far was responded to early the next day and the issue was fixed immediately. I highly recommend Palmetto Pointe and could not be happier living here.

It's 4 women that work in the leasing office 3 out of the 4 are RUDE most of the time. Any kind of work they do around the complex is done backwards. The women at the office play favorites.
