Property Ratings at Palm Island Club Apartments
I’ve been living at Palm Gardens for 1 year and 6 months and have never had any issues—until now. Today, a maintenance worker knocked on my door around 3:00 PM to perform work. I politely asked if he could return later, as I was in the middle of getting dressed to leave for school and, as a woman living alone, was not comfortable having someone enter at that moment. He was very understanding and agreed to return the next day. Shortly after, around 4:00 PM, I received a call from the property manager, Bonnie. She immediately began yelling at me, saying, “You are not allowed to say no to my guys.” I tried to calmly explain, but she hung up on me. When I went to the office to follow up, she refused to listen, dismissed me, and told me the apartment was hers and she could enter whenever she wanted. This experience made me feel completely disrespected, harassed, and like my right to privacy in my own home meant nothing. I am still shaken by the experience. A home should be a place of safety, not somewhere I feel intimidated or emotionally distressed. I hope management seriously reconsiders how they handle tenant concerns, especially when it comes to respecting personal boundaries and privacy.
The manager doesn’t care about that the people who are living there. Always making the payment of the water bills late which causes extra charges, I have given them a check like on Aril 2024 until now they didn’t make the payment. They took the check and deposited it to there account and they didn’t make a payment to the water company. The water company keeps sending me the bills. Whom can I complain to , where is the owner, give me my money back and I will pay the bill to water company, I have send them the checks photos the evidence that the deposit to there account, nothing happened.
I LIVE HERE NOW AND THESE PEOPLE SUCK.IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES YOULL DEAL WITH THE ATTITUDE BEAST IN THE OFFICE. TRUST ME IF YOU WANT BETTER TREATMENT, A NICER LOOKING APARTMENT, ITS WORTH IT ELSEWHERE. I AM COUNTING THE DAYS OF MOVING OUT ASAP. BEWARE!
